WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: Mitt Romney’s Quiet Prayer Amidst The Sound Of Thunder

by Ulsterman on October 25, 2012 with 44 Comments in News

A remarkable story from a longtime D.C. political operative of just how personally moved Mitt Romney was following a campaign stop in Red Rocks Colorado where over 10,000 enthusiastic supporters greeted the man they hope will be the next President of the United States.

Got this feedback earlier today and thought you’d like to hear it. You know, I’ve gone from just trying to defeat Obama to really trying to help Governor Romney be this country’s next president. I’m really starting to believe there might be something very special about this man. This took place out in Colorado. Just a couple days ago. Probably my favorite campaign trail story that’s come back my way so far this election. Wish I had been there. I’m going to try and get a little poetic on you here. Hope I pull it off OK and do this story justice. Feel free to help me out a bit in the telling. I would be embarrassed for people to know just how bad my spelling really is. And sadly, that’s not a joke. -INSIDER

As the governor was en route to the amphitheatre they were told the crowd was showing “strong numbers”. What greeted him was a lot more than just “strong numbers” though. It was a massive wave of thousands and thousands of supporters. Before going on the governor apparently peeked out a few times and was shaking his head in disbelief at just how many people were there to see him. He was told by organizers up to a thousand more were turned away because there simply wasn’t any room left. People said you could feel the size of the crowd under your feet backstage. Somebody had passed out a ton of “thundersticks” and the people were banging them together and making this amazing rumbling noise. There were some real veteran campaigners backstage and I’m told they were all blown away by this crowd in Colorado. It really was like some big time rock show. Just a huge response for the governor.

So Governor Romney goes onstage and gives his speech. The crowd just totally embraces him. From beginning to end. Every word. They are fired up. Loud. Positive. Cheering. Just an amazing moment for the campaign. Everybody backstage were all smiles and peeking out at all those people and shaking their heads. This is the kind of moment in a campaign you never forget. Ever. Nobody who hasn’t experienced it can really understand this feeling. You’re looking at a candidate being transformed right in front of your eyes into the next Leader of the Free World. They go from being human into something just a bit more. It’s all those people. That energy. It kind of fills the candidate up and makes them bigger than life. And you are watching it happen in real time. Right then.

The governor returns backstage and he is smiling and shaking hands, taking congratulations from everybody around him. He’s saying how great it was. Somebody yells out he’s going to win Colorado and the governor laughs and says he thinks so too. And then something very interesting happens. He moves away from the group of people just a bit. Maybe ten or fifteen feet or so. Just enough to have a little space to himself. And enough people notice that the area gets a lot more quiet, and they are trying to watch the governor without looking like they are watching the governor. They can all kind of tell something is happening right then. It was described as something very peaceful and powerful that came over that backstage area for a moment. And the governor, he lowers his head and his eyes shut tight and you could see him take a slow deep breath and then he lets it out and says quietly, but just loud enough for some to hear, “Lord, if this is your will, please help to make me worthy. Please give me the strength Lord.” And then his eyes open up, and he’s back to smiling and laughing and shaking hands and being the candidate once again.

I’m 100% convinced Mitt Romney was shaken to his soul right then and there. I think at that moment it was sinking in he might really be the next American president, and it humbled him right to his core, in every nerve of his body. And as he was saying that little prayer, you could hear the sound of thunder from all those thundersticks outside. Like this huge low rumble that just surrounded all of them at once. A quiet little prayer, and the sound of thunder.

The sound of God.

VIDEO OF THE ROMNEY/RYAN RALLY AT RED ROCKS IN COLORADO.

Mitt Romney takes the stage at approximately 6:00 into the video. At 7:10 you can watch as Mr. Romney is clearly moved by the reaction of the crowd and the beauty of the surroundings. He begins his words by remarking upon the “handiwork of our creator”. This indeed appears to have been a remarkable moment for this campaign season:

I posted an interesting vid on what the Bible Code says about Romney-He will have the blessing of God on him.

I give up.
Still, let's not turn him into St. Mitt.

That won't do either, but the way Ulstermann is slobbering......

Mitt Romney does not equal Barak Obama.
Never has, never will.
He may not be a saint, but at least he is trying and at least he prays to God.
There won't be a Lewinski in his white house.
There won't be moslem services there either.
I bet there will be Christian ones.
He has unique abilities and talents we havent seen in a president in a long time.
I hope God gives him the strength to win and do what needs to be done to start turning this country around.

Wheat or Tare, which are you?
The Lord has told many of us in prayer meetings and in our spirit man that the only thing that will save America is to turn to Him for a great awakening...

He also told us that great leaders have to be in place for great awakenings to commence...

Get ready to turn towards God, there is a great awakening coming and many will be swept into the Kingdom...

Laugh now if you want, but the time will come quickly to each of us to make a life-changing decision whether or not you will serve God with ALL of your heart, soul and might. Nothing less will do...

Most of the lost :sheep:are going to come over to the Kingdom and the Father did say that His House will be full for the Marriage Feast!

Watch and see God answer the loudest prayer the Church is uttering... The return of America to her roots...

This will save America, until we be taken out of the way...

So you're all goo-goo eyed at his PERSONA, completely ignoring the fact that he WILL execute every order given to him by the elites. He's their boy every bit as much as Obama is. But that evidently means nothing to you fine rational, thinking folks....

I still prefer voting record over a "feeling" experienced by the sheep who attended (or helped to put on) this event. Better than obams, yeah....good enough to earn my vote.....nope.

Dennis, you are a hard sell. I am older than dirt and I remember when Romney was more conservative than Reagan. He could not get the time of day from the party elite. He then ingraciated his way into favor. Which is the true man? I do not know, but I do know he is a lot different than o.

A relatively simple Etch-A-Sketch operation on his part.

And his PERSONA is different. That's all. But you people desperately need to latch on to him, with eyes wide-shut.

Im not sure that I believe that. Joel Skousken says the Mitt really isn't an insider but was- like Reagen- allowed to run. Certainly he wont make a fool of this country and of us Americans by bowing to 3 world pedophiles and allah kissers. He wont refuse to wear an American flag pin and wont place his hand over his crotch during the national anthem. He wont run guns to the muslim brotherhood, mexican cartels nor implement sharia law. His wife isnt a radical negro power militant who spends 24/7 for 4 years burning as many dollars as possible traveling all over the world. Romney may at least restore some dignity to the office- realign our country with her traditional allies and become dependable once again. Romney has morals and seems to be a decent person. Obama is a snake who was raised by a cross-dressing nanny and a pedophile.

I know for a fact that small businesses all across this once great country are holding there collective breath waiting to see if they can survive another 3 months. If Romney wins- they will hire and expand. If not- many will throw in the towel. Romney will drill- open a pipeline- cut back on job-killing EPA mandates- restore American coal usage. Obama has truly been an unmitigated disaster and 4 more years will about send us to 3rd world status. There really is no comparion between Romney and the POS in the WH right now.

And besides, all those idiot negros who are threatening to riot if Romney, lets see how well that works for them.

Concur. Regardless, I still fear a False Flag, before the election, or before the Inauguration. The Dictator will never leave power, willingly...

OA, out...

Concur. Joel Skousen has my respect, and to me, is a known quantity. Mitt Romney may not be everyone's idea of a knight in shining armor, but he is infinitely better than the Bush Family, Clinton, or, most especially, The Dictator. For me, Ronald Reagan was my favorite President, and I have two in my lineage- the John and John Q. Adams. I'm a Jeffersonian Patriot, and a Reagan fan... Until someone rises to such a standard, Jefferson and Reagan, Romney will have to do...

OA, out...

BTW.....I'm not saying that Romney is an aspiring Hitler. What I am saying is that being embraced by the crowd and wild cheers is hardly a sign of a great man.
