What Jessie REALLY Said about Obama - N Word

Is Jesse Jackson A Hypocrite For Using The Word '******'?

Recently Jesse Jackson created a major firestorm with his stated desire to mutilate parts of Barack Obama's anatomy. Fox News held back other remarks that Jackson made, which have now been reported by TVNewser. Jackson called black people "******s."
The TVNewser reports that they have received a partial transcript of remarks made at the same time as Jesse Jackson made his other disparaging remarks about Barack Obama's anatomy. They say they have received confirmation from Fox News Channel representatives saying the transcript is authentic.

The portion shown in the original video was where Jackson had said that Barack Obama was "talking down to black people". What wasn't shown was the remark made after that.

The full remark was, "Barack...he's talking down to black people...telling ******s how to behave."

Bill O'Reilly, went on Shep Smith's show, The Fox Report, and stated that a “weasel" leaked it to the internet, so he will address the topic on his show tonight on O'Reilly's show. He claims they left it out of the original report because the "trashtalk" wasn't aimed at Obama, so they made an editing choice to only include the portion that was aimed at Obama.

This brings back up a situation in 2006 when Michael Richard's, who played Kramer on the popular Seinfeld television comedy show, called members of his audience at a stand up routine, ******s, and Jesse Jackson was very high profile in insisting that the word not be used publicly or privately due to the offensive nature of the word.

In fact, Jackson called for a boycott of all entertainment media that used the word.

Jackson also asked the public not to buy a DVD box set of the seventh season of the TV show “Seinfeld” that was released last week. Richards played wacky neighbor “Kramer” on the show, although Jerry Seinfeld would be hardest hit by a boycott of the DVD.

“Yeah, but he is a Jew,” Jackson said.

Jackson also called on a boycott of all entertainment media that uses the “n-word.” Among the items on Jackson’s blacklist are:

* The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, which includes the character ****** Jim, a runaway slave
* Blazing Saddles, which featured prominent use of the “n-word”
* Magnum P.I., starring Tom Selleck, a Republican, and featuring John Hillerman, who also appeared in Blazing Saddles
* Redd Fox Uncensored, which included the routine “Colored People”
* Bicentennial ****** by Richard Pryor, which includes the routine “Mudbone Goes To Hollywood”

Richard's also appeared on Jesse Jackson's radio show "Keep Hope Alive" and apologized as well as made many other appearances and many other apologies. On that program, after Richard apologized, Jackson went on to say, "A simple apology does not deal with the depth of the trauma. The first step is to acknowledge you're wrong. The second step is to be contrite about it, not arrogant. The third is, it takes time to regain or earn trust, and that's where the healing process begins."

Jesse Jackson used the incident with Richard to call on the entertainment industry to ban the n-word, including rap artists that use it in the lyrics, actors and major television and movie studios.

This campaign, led by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton was felt in cities around the country, with s New York city council banning the use of the word in an attempt to eradicate it. The resolution they passed didn't even include the word, they simply referred to it as the "N-Word". From New York straight to Texas, where a Mayor proposed making the punishment for using the word a crime equal to disturbing the peace and punishable by a fine of up to $500.

This brought about tremendous criticism, with Chris Rock, a black comedian telling Reuters in an interview, "What, is there a fine? Am I going to get a ticket? Do judges say, 'Ten years, ******!' "

Jesse Jackson made this as high profile as possible back in 2006, which brings up the question of hypocrisy.

Is it hypocritical for Jackson to have tried to get movies, books and the entertainment industry, as well as the general public, to ban the use of a word that he, himself, utilizes?

Some suggest it is.

I saw O'Reilly on Shepherd Smith yesterday talking about this co called weasel who leaked it. He was about to get off on it really he was so delighted that it got leaked if you believe in body language. Plus he kept telling his viewers since the get-go that there was more to it that Fox had held back.

snips from another article:

At the time, host Bill O’Reilly told viewers the network had decided to air only portions of what Jackson had said, adding there was "more damaging" material, too. That gave rise to rumors that Jackson had used the “n word” –- and aimed it directly at Obama.

In a Wednesday afternoon interview with fellow Fox host Shepard Smith, O’Reilly said he had withheld the “n-word” remark because, “I’m not in the business of creating some kind of controversy that’s not relevant to the general subject -- one civil rights leader disparaging another over policy.”

But why did O’Reilly mention in the first place that he had “more damaging” material?

In a one-sentence statement offered as a reply, O’Reilly said Wednesday: “We tell the audience the full breadth of everything we report on.” There was no elaboration on why the “full breadth” didn’t include the actual comment.

As for how the “n-word” comment eventually got out, O’Reilly told Smith that “some weasel leaked it to the Internet.”

How can a person be so smart and so foolish at the same time? Although, this is the first statement of Jackson's that I've read and can agree with wholeheartedly. Maybe it's about balance, not intelligence.

As far as the boycotts Jackson proposed, he missed one.
There was a Dave Chappel show clip on YouTube someone linked here a while back showing a white family whose last name was the N word.
Chappel was the milk man sticking his head in the door greeting them by name.

Once again the double standard rears it head in the MSM & the race industry. The MSM decides for us stupid Americans, no make that stupid white Americans, what is relevant and what is not. Why is that?

A weasel calling another MSM member a weasel. Ha!

A lot of black people call each other "******s" all the time but if your white it's a word that one doesn't dare to utter. I don't like the word and I don't use it. I heard it all the time when I was a kid. But, it's only a word. Blacks used to call the whites "honkies" and it doesn't bother me at all. Actually I think it's a funny sounding word. If your going to get hot and bothered about someone else using a word to describe your racial heritage then I think you've got a problem as well. I think what it comes down to is that the "N" word is a power word. There is power in that word. It's power to make people cringe and there is power in that word to make people into perceived victims. The real dirty word here is Jackson, Sharpton and others who make these blacks into professional victims. Thats the true crime here.

The problem with black-white relations has always been about double standards. The only gospel Jesse Jackson has ever preached was one of hypocricy. The joke has always been that he thought no one knew.

Being PC

F*** being politically correct. This is still a free country with free speech and if I want to say the word ****** instead of saying "The N word" I'll do so.

Note that I think the casual use of that word shows a plebian and banal mentality. I don’t like using that word to refer to a person because they are black. The word does fit though for your gangsta wanna bees that show low class morals, ethics, and common sense.

I call white people that fit this category “White Trash”. In fact, the term White Trash could really apply to all colors as it morphs a lot of undesirable traits into the label.

Black people can say what they want whether it is ****** or cracker with impunity so I suggest there not be a double standard.

In fact, unless we can get back on track for being “Americans”, not Black Americans, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, unless we can pull together as a country and be proud of all our accomplishments regardless of color then we are doomed as a Super Nation and will soon have the status of a third world country.

Prejudice has no place in this day in age. That statement applies to all people of color, not just whites.

I bet Don Imus has crapped his pants laughing so hard.

Imus was wrong for what he said. But lets consider how much differently Imus was treated as opposed to Jackson. Look at all the black "leaders" that were calling for Imus's head on a platter. Now that Jackson issued comments that might even be worse than what Imus said where are the black "leaders" calling Jackson on the carpet for what he said?? Little bit of a double standard here, eh??

Be sure your sins will find you out. That's what my grandma always said, and she was right. Jesse's chickens have come home to roost. Why can't people just call each other by their name? I don't think it is right for ANYONE to call someone a derogatory name. It just shows the name caller's ignorance and stupidity, not to mention their evil intentions as well.:shk:
Even if no one but your buddies ever hear you say it, God knows you said it. I have heard that you are in danger of hell if you call someone a fool. I'd say it matters a lot what you call someone no matter who you are if hell is the penalty for calling someone a fool, even though your opinion of that person's mentality might be right. It's sometimes best to, in the words of Archie Bunker,
"Just Stifle It."

Nooooooooooo Richard,

If you aren't black, no "n" words allowed.

Black is pc here, other places it's African-American.

I'm tired of all the flipping hypenated Americans using their ethnicity to justify bad behavior.

That includes Mexican-Americans and Muslim-Americans.

You've ever heard of a Swedish-American, Austrailian, Dutch, French, Chinese, German, English, Korean, Russian, Italian, Irish, Indian and on and on the list goes use a hypen? No, we're a nation of mutts, we can all claim a hypen if we wanted to; only those amongst us that want to use it for something and don't think they should be responsible for themselves or their lives play with hypens.

Even American Indians/Native Americans don't use a hypen.

Only the hypenated ones with a never-ending axe to grind play the hypen card.

The last time someone asked me what I preferred to be called, I said Mutt. They looked at me like I was crazy. I had to explain that my family was like Heinz 57 Sauce. We have some of everything thrown in there. :lkick:
