It is pretty clear that he is going to win, and there is no shortage of doom and gloom prediction from those who hate him.
But I want hear from those who like him, or at least those who know that he is not a Russian pawn...

Deportation of the immigrants will take the better part of a decade. Until certain pieces are removed including individuals Trump would have nothing but road blocks in the attempted implementation of his policy points...

Shut down, dismantle, redistribute, or greatly reduce the size of many agencies, e.g. Department of Education, FBI, CIA, Pentagon staff, et al. Move agencies out of D.C. to other parts of the country, i.e. Department of Interior, et al. Big changes in DOJ starting at the top.

Oil and industry back to the USA. Put an end to the so-called green bad deal and all the electric everything associated with it. Reduce the Department of Energy to a minor player and put people in charge who will use American resources, American energy, nuclear energy and fire the asshats.

And I hope he will bring some of our far flung military back home and stop the endless BS wars.

Close the border. CLOSE IT and deport the Illegals. Order a census with armed census takers backed by law enforcement to clear out ILLEGALS.

Blanket pardon for J6 detainees. And so much more.

Best bet is to force none of the agencies to have HQs in DC. Make it so travel is required, no desk jockeys. No consolidation of power in agencies. Make each agency to have to hq in a different state. And make it so the states can evict the agency if they get pissed off at them.

By requiring travel there is no longer anonymous cross agency meetings that are not in our best interest. There is a literal paper trail.

"Think of me when you take the beautiful vaccine!" All of you dying of the various afflictions post 2021.... may want to reflect long and hard about whom you put your faith in.

Personally, I'm still waiting for unregulated suppressors under the "hearing protection act"

Nice wish lists here, but he's been there before and the only meaningful change has been the makeup of the Supreme Court, which has been his greatest accomplishment. If he does manage to get in again, sure, he will pardon the J6 protesters, but little else will change. His biggest problem is himself- he can't get along with anyone near him. And with few exceptions, his appointees have been misguided to say the least. Just about all of them end up stabbing him in the back because he's a bloviating douche bag.

One of my biggest concerns it that the republicans don't have a backup plan. Are they going to just anoint Nikki because she's the last 'man' standing if / when the inevitable comes to pass? If Trump does manage to get the nomination, then certainly, I will vote for him again, if only for the entertainment value.

What do you think he will do in the first 30 days?
1.Have ALL of the leadership in the current communist government rounded up and strung up by their necks in Lafayette park, up and down Constitution avenue, up and down 14th street. Until they are d e d dead. And leave them there. There are more than enough light poles to oblige them.
Oh, and add the entire DC government to the rope party. But string them up in SE DC.

2. Make Eisenhower's Operation Wetback of 1954 look like a garden party. Get EVERY SINGLE illegal in the country (from newborns to the elderly, illegal is illegal), round them up and bus them to the US Mexico border. If they don't want to go back, have the illegals sign a contract to be housed in work camps doing public service and WPA style projects nationwide. After a 5 year stint, then "consider" their requests for legal citizenship. if they resist going back, shoot them.
Any illegal in jail for felony offences gets shot anyway-they don't want em and neither do we. Clear the gene pool.

Bulldoze the ugliest building in DC-the museum of Dindu Nuffin history. Level it, it's hideous.

Shut down the department of justice; fire every single current employee. Rebuild it entirely from the ground up. use local law enforcement resources until the DOJ is able to act as a protector of honest people rather than a prosecutor of them.

Federalize the District of Columbia. Take running the city away from the drug addled grifters running it now.

Fire every FBI employee and rebuild it from the same ground up. Take the us capitol police and fire every single one of them. if any officer is found to have filed an action or arrest report regarding January 6th activities and participants-arrest and charge them with sedition. Or treason. death penalty for a guilty verdict. Ashlii babbit's killer? String him up in the middle of the capitol rotunda. For grins strike up Mike Pence beside them-both are responsible for injuries death pain and suffering from that day.

Any country charging the US tariffs on our product sold in their country? Stop imports from that country for a minimum 180 days. Embargo them and after the 180 days look at the waste laid to their countries's economies. I'm sure they will reconsider the charging of tariffs.............

Stop ALL foreign aid to EVERY country we currently give it to. Review each country we give aid to, but do it slowly. VERY slowly. If we are going to help foreign friends and allies; we want to make SURE they are indeed that.

Eliminate ANY tax benefit given to buyers of EV's (electric vehicles). Level the playing field, and it keeps the US from spending unnecessary monies on EV infrastructure. use that money on current infrastructure. Besides, the EV fad will go away within a year of president trump's reelection anyway.

Any city in the country with bad gang or homeless issues? Have the governors of each state activate their respective national guard units. Use them to police these areas/cities with broad powers of arrest or liquidation until the problem goes away.

All of these suggestions could easily be done through executive order and shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to sign. That would give the US a good start at least.

Just kidding usss.............:fgr2:

I know it won't happen - wet dream only >>> but have a desk type set-up next to the Inauguration Podium - sign a blanket pardon for all the jailed Jan6th prisoners - order their immediate release with an invite to attend the celebration that night .....

Does he have enough people that hate the swamp to fill a cabinet?

He will be seen as a tyrant by a certain simple-minded segment of America IF he could change our course.

I'm not sure that those among us intelligent enough in this nation to understand a limited Constitutional Republic will be ready.
Ready to endure the cacophony of those raised on the goobermint teat IF those teats dry up. (Ftr, I'm referring to government workers not welfare recipients)

Even if a solid majority of the populace and an iron-clad Supreme Court has resolve, we still deal with the financial deficit in this country. An issue not even remotely controlled by the executive branch.

Maybe I'm too pessimistic but I see no avenue back to prosperity and domestic tranquility.

Asked this way: How many reading here would accept some strife, hardship and mayhem NOW to alleviate total destruction later? That's rhetorical. No need to respond.

The teenagers and twenty-somethings are gonna be pissed about the mess we've left them. Assuming they could articulate&understand the condition we're in...

Eta: The above lamentation didn't even mention the "Climate Change Cult" and their influence...

Make a number of serious and heartwarming speeches for public consumption, undo a handful of serious wrongs (J6 and others). The public will love him and chant MAGA MAGA MAGA.

As for mass arrests and treason/sedition charges against the majority of the govt, immediately sealing up the entire border, putting a lid on out of control spending, and ceasing funding of the crazy wars ussa criminal element has us involved in, and lots more ?
Lots of talking, hearings, positive propaganda, some bill written and shoved into congress for passage.....
Repeat the last sentence again....
And again...

And the positive spin propaganda will continue and big heartwarming patriotic speeches will be given, and not so much will actually be done.

Prepare for a let-down.

(I would love to be wrong and most of what really needs to be done, gets done)

well said.

I will add JFK's famous line - "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".

And my comment on both those.
JFK was full of shit, and had a good speech writer on that one. Work hard, follow the law, and pay far too much in taxes is what people were expected to do for their country, and most did. The public in general had, and has even more so now, every right to ask what the govt is doing for them given the huge tax burden at all levels of govt plus the massive corruption. BTW, corruption didn't start with Klinton or Bush or Nixon. It stated way way back.

As for willingness to accept some strife, hardship, and mayhem???! Some more clarification of those three words would be nice, feet on the ground examples would be better. But I think you mean that change for the better will not come easy?

WHY would anyone have to accept any of those nouns? Are there more 'sacrifices' the public needs to make for their country?

They will NEVER allow Trump to be president again!

Our votes do not matter.

If it were a fair election, then yes, Trump would win.

But he won in 2020, too… yet Diaper Joe is sitting in the White House right now.

What ever makes you think 2024 will be any different..

Remember all those "peaceful protests" while DJT was in office? Those protesters have freezers full of water bottles I feel sure.

All those IRS agents and alphabet agency employees that need separated from their paychecks have families. Probably every member here at TB2k has family that needs "right-sized" right out of a government job.

Think of the wailing and gnashing of teeth if busloads of undocumented workers start getting bused SOUTH to the border. The crocodile tears will come in torrents.

Repealing needless and onerous environmental regulations would be hard. Many otherwise conservative leaning people have been brainwashed into the climate change cult to various degrees.

These are all moot points. I don't think it will ever happen.

Evidence of this post may actually be grounds for my arrest in a few years. Given current trends in speech throughout the world, I'm not being dramatic.
