Mayocue
Yes, this is a real thing, this is actually happening. Put simply –
Mayocue is essentially a combination of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. BUT, like most recipes on this blog, I like to spruce things up a little (i.e take things too far).
For the best dang BBQ mayo you’ll ever taste here’s what you’ll need:
- Mayo
- BBQ Sauce
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Smoked Paprika
- Onion & Garlic Powder
In it’s most simple form, you can just use BBQ sauce and mayo, but I highly recommend adding in the extra goodies for the ultimate flavour.
BBQ Mayo
Depending on how ‘barbequey’ you like you BBQ mayo, you might want to adjust, but I personally feel a
50/50 ratio works best.
Top Tip – Use a good quality BBQ sauce and one with a ‘neutral’ flavour i.e not smoky, spicy etc.
How do you store BBQ Mayo?
I usually make this in advance (helps the flavours develop) and keep tightly covered in the fridge until needed. Keeps well for up to 3 days (longer at your discretion).
