Hiwall , What is the vac sealer that works best with jars? Mine (Foodsaver) doesn't stay sealed longer than 10 minutes.
Thank you, there are, however, some on this forum that would suggest paring down. I'm like you I will not do it. I do share commodities every month with my pastor, sometimes the entire haul. But that is it. At 74 I'm figuring that my pantry will out last me, but what ever. I just have to keep organizing.

At my age, everything is bit by bit too. But, those bits, planned out for maximum usefulness in accomplishing various kinds of goals (family, food, cleaning, upkeep, and just happiness) can make a big impact!Got some violets potted up and some cleaned to tincture later today. I just get tired out so quickly it seems. I did one load of laundry, texted a client and my daughters.

I'm glad my vehicles have been raised on 87 octane. No gas shortages here in my area. People just went about their business as usual. Prices have gone up, though. We're paying right at $3.50/gal for Premium.

The gas station that DH got gas Regular on Wednesday for $2.79, youngest DD paid $3.09 for the same thing today, quite a jump in 2 days.
