Renee, I just posted this over in the monkeypox treatment thread. I copied it to bring here in response to your question.
My treatment/prevention list so far, which is subject to change as more recommendations are listed, includes gloves, masks, hand sanitizers, bandages of all sizes, clorox, epsom salt, baking soda, white vinegar, natural honey, eye wash solution, eye drops, anti-itch steroid cream, antibiotic cream, calamine lotion, tea tree essential oil, clove essential oil, coconut oil, Tylenol, and Aleve. I have prescription pain killers if they should be needed. I also have Lysol laundry sanitizer for washing clothes and antibacterial soaps. I like Dr. Bonner's pure hemp peppermint castille soap. Also, homemade lye soap with cinnamon and oatmeal.
I just thought I would post my list to give others an idea.
I don't see monkeypox as a huge threat right now, but I don't want to wait for a herd panic to set in if it should blow up into something major, before getting prepared. That's why we all prep, right?
