how long will these seeds last and still germinate when opened ?

TIA
Great question, first of all, you want to put your seeds in the freezer when you get them, this can extend their life considerably or for over 25 years or longer.

But if they are at room temperature, some estimates on how long some of the seeds will last is:

If it is a corn or bean seed or a large seed, 10 years.
If it is a small seed, up to 4 years.

All in all, we recommend keeping them in a freezer. Also, the mylar bags have a zip lock seal on them, so once the bags are opened, they can be resealed.
