Did any of them lie about it under oath to Congress?
You mean like 0, the British subject who lied about both being an America natural born citizen and moslem?

Like hildebeast and her treasonous illegal server?

Like holder pertaining to Fast and Furious?

I could keep this up for several paragraphs minimum, but I think my point is made.

Take your double standard and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Lying to congress is not the point. I've read the transcript.

Sessions truthfully answered the question he was asked, which was specific.

This is a Soros operation, and they're coming out into the streets again.

The left had to do something to get Trump's great speech off of the news networks for it made the Demo-Rats-Crap look so bad. This is the next battle in this Civil War II. And one of these days things will go a little too far and people will start dying in the streets as it becomes a actual shooting war of right versus left or those that are Pro Constitution and Freedoms versus Socialist Regressive Traitorous Scumbags.

Bottom line is that Sessions met as a rep of Armed Services Committee not as a rep of Trump campaign.
Have you been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian government about the 2016 election, either before or after election day?” Leahy wrote.

Sessions responded with one word: “No.”

They will have to prove the conversations he had with the Russian ambassador was about the election and not the armed services. I'm not sure how well they can pull that one off so they will just paint him with a wide stroke, plant seeds of doubt and act on assumptions in an effort to root him out.

Sessions Under Fire: GOP Rushes to Eat Their Own Again

Some Republicans quick to pile on as Trump attorney general targeted by media, leaks

by Edmund Kozak | Updated 02 Mar 2017 at 11:29 AM

Some congressional Republicans rushed Thursday to criticize Attorney General Jeff Sessions following leaks and media reports that Sessions met with Russian diplomats two times in 2016.

The allegations, leaked from intelligence sources, were first reported by The Washington Post.

“The underlying meeting is a nothing burger.”

“I have not met with any Russians at any time to discuss any political campaign,” Sessions said Wednesday evening when confronted with the allegations. “And those remarks are unbelievable to me and are false. I don’t have anything else to say about that.”

A Sessions spokesperson elaborated on why Sessions had been truthful.

“He was asked during the hearing about communications between Russia and the Trump campaign — not about meetings he took as a senator and a member of the Armed Services Committee,” Sessions spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores explained.

In January, Sessions was asked by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) for answers to written questions, including if he had “been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian government about the 2016 election, either before or after Election Day?” The attorney general was not asked if he had been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian government for any reason during the entire course of the year.

Nevertheless, a number of Republicans were quick to give in to the media narrative.

"AG Sessions should clarify his testimony and recuse himself," House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) tweeted early on Thursday.

"I think, the trust of the American people, you recuse yourself in these situations," House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Thursday morning.

McCarthy, in a later appearance on Fox News' "Fox & Friends" backtracked and said he wasn't calling on Sessions to recuse himself.

"I'm not calling on [Sessions] to recuse himself," McCarthy said. "It's amazing how people spin things so quickly."

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) joined in during an appearance on NPR on Thursday morning. "It is potentially the case that there is going to be Justice Department recommendations or referrals based on anything regarding the campaign, he said. "Depending on what more we learn about these meetings, it could very well be that the attorney general, in the interest of fairness and in his best interest, should potentially ask someone else to step in and play that role."

During a CNN town hall on Wednesday night, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Sessions couldn't be trusted to investigate the Trump administration.
Democratic Senator Defends Sessions
Manchin tells CNN that meetings between senators and ambassadors are routine

"If there is something there and it goes up the chain of investigation, it is clear to me that Jeff Sessions, who is my dear friend, cannot make that decision about Trump," said Graham.

Not every Republican was so eager to betray Sessions, however.

"What we are seeing is a lot of political theater," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on "Morning Joe."
Dead Simple Trick Brings Any Battery Back To Life

"This morning, everyone is in high dudgeon about the meeting," Cruz continued. "The underlying meeting is a nothing burger. It's what senators do every day. Meeting with foreign ambassadors, that's part of the job," he said.

"I think everyone is getting all worked up because it's a chance to beat up the attorney general and to beat up the president," said Cruz.

LOL- Elijah Cummings. That is one example of a talking orangutan.

Trump needs to get to war with these devils. Many judges need to be replaced too. Justice is only as good as the judge.

Unlike the last two attorney generals Sessions has recused himself from anything having to do with any sort of conflicts of interest and this time in regards to any contact the Trump campaign had with Russian officials. He did what he was supposed to do. And I certainly hope that Session's doesn't hold back as the 'swamp' desperately needs draining and a lot of truth bombs need to be dropped.

What they're actually trying to do is force Sessions to follow Flynn. The goal here is to decimate Trump's cabinet and keep him from governing.
BINGO BINGO BINGO BINGO. They are on a mission to destroy Mr. Trump's Presidency. They are salivating that they actually might get another resignation.

IMHO Sessions isn't going to budge an inch from his duty, and quite some time ago he said he would recuse himself from any possible sHitlery investigation since he had commented on the topic during Trump's campaign. He also said, IIRC, that his assitant attorney general would be able to handle any such investigations.

I'm disappointed that he had to recuse himself, but it does pretty much stop the issue cold. Other than a few frothing feckers, it seems people know he didn't "lie" or even come close to misrepresenting anything in his hearings. This is done except for the writhing by Franken, Schumer, etc. over having failed in their bum's rush.

I'm spitting nails! Judge Napolitano did Sessions no favors after Session's speech today.

Judge Napolitano on Neil Cavuto said something to the effect of by Sessions not coming out with his Russian meeting in September, "it COULD BE viewed as purposely misleading." I was like, WTF Judge!!! :sht:

Rest assured ALL THE NETWORKS will be playing Napolitano's answer tomorrow morning. The Dems will probably make a campaign ad out if it!

Just WOW! THANKS FOR TRYING TO HELP OUT THE SWAMP DWELLERS JUDGE!!! You TURNCOAT!

When do Democrats ever recuse themselves? We are the party of "P*ssies" and the Dems are cannibals! When you allow the optics of the situation to dictate your moves, you’re nothing but a slave to the Fake News and the Deep State who will manipulate your every move, and believe me they will!

With Sessions recusing himself, now the 'Acting AG' - Boente - an Obama appointee, will be the one involved in the FAKE Russia meme.

I agree in general, but it's pretty clear that he's staying at his post now. And don't forget, this wasn't really about "Russian Hacking", it was about trying to pry Sessions and his staff out of office before they have a chance to shine light on what these bastards have been doing for the past decade. With this, they lose. Sessions is now officially above the fray in terms of the "fake news" Russian hacking, and is free to train guns on the actual offenders.

The bad guys gambled on getting a resignation, and lost.

And, as long as President Trump keeps the AGs from the Obama Administration, he will continue to fail.
A Trump Administration guided by the cronies of Loretta Lynch is doomed.
Mr. Sessions should resign, maybe on Friday afternoon and hire a defense attorney.
Now the questions about this mess are: What did President Trump know about this, and when did he know it.

The whole dynamic has changed. The Democrats and RINOs have tied a can on the tail of the Trump Presidency.
The Trump Administration is only investigating leaks from its own White House. They may be using Obamas AGs to do it.
So it is going to be President Pense in a few weeks.
This is happening quickly.
Mr. Session will be on Tucker Carlson show tonight.
Too little, too late.

Exclusive: Two other Trump advisers also spoke with Russian envoy during GOP convention
Steve Reilly , USA TODAY 5:00 p.m. ET March 2, 2017

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is not the only member of President Trump’s campaign who spoke to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at a diplomacy conference connected to the Republican National Convention in July. At least two more members of the Trump campaign’s national security officials also spoke with Kislyak at the event, and several more Trump national security advisers were in attendance.

It's unknown what the Trump campaign officials who spoke with the ambassador – J.D. Gordon and Carter Page – discussed with him. Those who took part in the events in Cleveland said it is not unusual for presidential campaign teams to interact with diplomats.

However, the newly-revealed communications further contradict months of repeated denials by Trump officials that his campaign had contact with officials representing the Russian government.

The Justice Department’s acknowledgement Wednesday that Sessions spoke with Kislyak twice in 2016 has led to calls for him to recuse himself from investigations into the Trump team’s contact with Russia. By Thursday afternoon, Sessions said he would recuse himself.

Multiple attendees at the Global Partners in Diplomacy event in Cleveland said the contacts between diplomats and political officials are not unusual. The program schedule and social media photographs shows ambassadors from dozens of countries attended, alongside many of the original national security advisors to Trump’s campaign.

Gordon, who managed the advisory committee as the Trump campaign’s director of national security, said that while he also spoke with Kislyak in Cleveland, it is not unusual for a presidential campaign to interact with diplomats.

“I’d consider it an informal conversation just like my interactions with dozens of other ambassadors and senior diplomats in Cleveland,” Gordon said.

Page, another member of the Trump campaign’s national security advisory committee who also spoke with Kislyak in Cleveland, cited “confidentiality rules” in declining to say what he discussed with the ambassador. :sht:

“I had no substantive discussions with him,” said Page, who left the campaign later in the summer amid controversy over a speech he gave in Moscow in early July criticizing American foreign policy and sanctions against Russia.

Hossein Khorram, an RNC delegate from Washington State who wasn’t part of Trump’s campaign, attended the diplomacy event and said it provided a forum for diplomats to share their concerns with GOP officials. After formal panel discussions, the attendees broke off into informal conversations.

“Basically the ambassadors — including the Russian ambassador — they were expressing their, mainly, fears about the war on terror and collaborating with the United States,” he said. “There was no promises made on behalf of the Trump administration.” [Praise God for that.]

Sessions, Gordon, and Trump campaign national security advisory committee member Walid Phares all spoke on stage at the Global Partners in Diplomacy program on July 20 in an auditorium at Case Western Reserve University, according to the program schedule and pictures posted on social media. Current Deputy National Security Advisor KT McFarland was also present at the day’s sessions.

Phares did not respond to email and phone requests for comment.
Another member of the national security advisory committee who was at the Cleveland event, Joseph Schmitz, referred questions about his interactions with Russian officials to Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks.

Hicks has categorically denied any communication between the campaign and the Russian government. “The campaign had no contact with Russian officials,” she said in November.

USA TODAY NETWORK Tips

The contacts came at a time when the U.S. intelligence community has concluded the Russia government was trying to influence the presidential election. The Democratic National Committee’s computers had been hacked weeks before – in an intrusion U.S. investigators have said was orchestrated by the Russian intelligence services – and the first batch of emails from that hack were published by Wikileaks on July 22.

Since then, Russia’s alleged interference in the election and contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian government officials have been at the center of ongoing investigations by multiple federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies and by the House and Senate intelligence committees.

In February, Michael Flynn resigned as Trump’s national security advisor following revelations of his failure to provide complete information to administration officials about his contacts with Kislyak in December 2016. Flynn had originally said he didn’t talk with the ambassador about sanctions, but later revealed that he had.

The White House on Thursday did not answer questions from USA TODAY regarding the nature of the conversations between campaign officials and Kislyak, whether there were other contacts between the campaign and Russian government, and why statements have been made denying contacts.

"This was a widely attended 4-day event with dozens of ambassadors and hundreds of attendees," the White House said in a written statement from its communications office. "No interaction was substantive, and to insinuate otherwise is deeply dishonest."

Although an event similar to Global Partners in Diplomacy was held at the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, it is not clear Kislyak attended that program or spoke with Clinton campaign officials. [WHY IS THIS 'NOT CLEAR?'] The Russian Embassy did not respond to questions on Thursday about his attendance at the RNC and DNC events.

Jerry Hartz, spokesman for the National Democratic Institute, which organized the DNC event, said the group could not release the list of attendees due to security concerns, but could find no indication Kislyak attended. “No one remembers seeing him there,” Hartz said. [DON'T BELIEVE HIM!! INVESTIGATE!!!!]

Let's all think about this.... So bitch loretta lynch was lucky in that she was caught redhanded before she could lie or deny or simply not disclose that she met with clinton on her plane on the tarmac and so she was able to last until the end of her term under obama simply because she was caught and she could not deny or ignore it outright.
