ILL IMM TX National Guard has seized control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass

If the governor has activated the Nation Guard, then that would put them on title 32 which is state orders.
However, being the National Guard, they can quit and walk away as long as past their initial enlistment. Anything after the first enlistment is voluntary. That's about all I know about this maybe someone else with more knowledge can chime in.

Nevada has relatively few highways, and so it might be possible to cut off the flow from California and Arizona. In the central and northern part of the border with California, almost all of the roads go through mountain passes over the Sierra Nevada range, and there are very few alternate routes due to the ruggedness of the terrain. There just aren't that many highways in Nevada, and many of them are quite isolated. There's a lot of traffic on I-80 and I-15, though.

I have seen posts saying a Division a day (10,000 young fighting age males) are crossing our border each day. The above post says 96,000 since October 1, 2023.

There's some BS somewhere, so which is it? No wonder people are abandoning Team Buydem to stand with us. Nobody likes a liar.
I think the 96000 number is referring to ones that got away.

Now that Oklahoma is deploying their Guard to assist Texas does Biden/Obama have to title 10 the OK Guard? You know Oklahoma will not be the only state to send Guard. This has now taken on legs of its own and is walking pretty fast. Biden’s diapers are full and Obama will have to show his brown hand in all this soon. No going back now.

Between October 1st and today (Jan 26) we've seen (31+30+31+26) 118 days. Multiply this by 10K invaders per day and you have 1.18M invaders during the same period. Some periods in early December there were 15K per day. These are the "known."

Quite a crowd. Exceeds the population of 9 states. I think I've heard reports that the total illegal population now exceeds any of 32 states. Not too long and the illegals will be the majority population.

And the Democrats give them voting rights, and we become a minority in the land our forefathers conquered.

In the post the 96,000 are the 'Known Gotaways'

I posted somewhere about laterally transferring from Guard to State Guard with HDIP and other bennies. If the fedbois ignore laws and play dirty, why can't we still follow letter of the law and beat them at their own game?

The one thing that might keep Nat'l Guard obliged to serve the fed and not Texas is a little thing called Stop Loss. Buydem plays that card and I have no idea what the next logical step is?

BREAKING: Texas gov. Greg Abbott tells Tucker Carlson that he is "prepared" for potential conflict with federal authorities and that 10 states have sent National Guard to the Texas border.

"There have been about 10 [states] so far that have sent National Guard or other law enforcement. They now are joined together with us and this is a fight for the future of America," Abbott said.

Tucker then asked about potential conflict with federal forces.

"All we can do is be as prepared as possible, deploy as many people as possible, do as much as possible to put up more border barriers and deny illegal entry," Abbott said.

"We're working hard regardless of what the Biden administration is doing."

Extremely concerning

@BillAckman

Please read the below letter. I find the @FBI
agents’ message irrefutable and extremely concerning.

It is shocking that @POTUS
is fighting Texas’ attempt to protect our southern border.

Why aren’t Federal agents protecting our border rather than fighting to keep the border open to millions of unaccountable masses entering illegally at a time of great geopolitical uncertainty and heightened terrorism risk?

How does this make any sense for the safety and security of our country?

What is Biden or, perhaps better said, the people behind Biden thinking?

Can't use stop loss. They did that to me in 2004 then activated our unit to go to the sand box. All I remember was it was illegal, and they had to pay us some $$$ for it. But yeah, I forgot about the State Guard. Don't hear much about it. Mostly the Reserves.

The ultimatum has expired: Texas did not submit to the demands of the White House

▪️Sending federal agents to clash with the Texas National Guard on the border with Mexico would be the "biggest mistake of the Biden administration," said Texas Deputy Governor Dan Patrick, regarding a request by the US Department of Homeland Security to allow them access to the border by the end of the day.

HUGE: Border Patrol Turns on Joe Biden, Proclaims Support for Texas National Guard
Bonchie
~4 minutes

Is there going to be a major confrontation on the border following Joe Biden's ultimatum that Texas National Guard forces be removed from Shelby Park and other "disputed" areas? Not if the rank-and-file of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have anything to say about it.

READ: Joe Biden Gives an Ultimatum to Greg Abbott, 'Pound Sand' Is the Proper Response

According to a new post put out by the Border Patrol Union, and a new report from Griff Jenkins of Fox News, Biden has lost operational control of the situation, at least in a practical sense.

Rank-and file BP agents are not going to start arresting TX NG members for following their LAWFUL orders. That's fake news.

TX NG and rank-and-file BP agents work together and respect each other's jobs. Period. If TX NG members have LAWFUL orders, then they have to carry out…
— Border Patrol Union - NBPC (@BPUnion) January 26, 2024

The Biden administration had initially warned Texas that it had until mid-day Friday to relinquish control of Shelby Park, the nearby boat dock, and the International Bridge. That deadline has now come and gone, and instead of there being a major clash between the Border Patrol and the state-controlled soldiers on site, it appears those on the ground have already de-escalated the situation.

The Border Patrol Union ends by slamming Biden for creating the current "catastrophe" and reiterating that there will be no conflict between CBP agents and state forces. The statement is a clear signal of support for the Texas National Guard, its mission, and those leading it, including Gov. Greg Abbott.

Rank-and-file BP agents appreciate and respect what TX has been doing to defend their state in the midst of this catastrophe that the Biden Admin has unleashed on America.

We want to be perfectly clear, there is no fight between rank-and-file BP agents and the TX NG, Gov. Abbott, or TX DPS. It may make flashy headlines, but it simply isn't true.

Furthering the division between the Border Patrol and the White House was a senior CBP official who said they have no plans to follow through on removing the razor wire put up by Texas. Biden has completely lost whatever leverage he had.

BREAKING: A Senior CBP Official tells FOX:

"the relationship between Border Patrol, Texas DPS, & TMD remains strong... Bottom line: Border Patrol has no plans to remove infrastructure (c-wire) placed by Texas along the border. Our posture remains the same." @FoxNews
— Griff Jenkins (@GriffJenkins) January 26, 2024

This is an incredible turn of events. I don't know if "mutiny" is the right word here, but clearly, Biden has no way to enforce his threats at this point. Border Patrol agents are not going to go along with it and short of using the Insurrection Act to mobilize the U.S. Army (and they likely wouldn't act either), this represents a major roadblock to the president's attempts to further destroy the Southern border.

We are in uncharted territory right now, and I'm certainly thankful cooler heads have prevailed, at least at this point. Will this force Biden's hand toward some kind of renewal of enforcement of immigration laws? Surely, with his bluff having been called by his own law enforcement officials, he has to try a different approach. Never underestimate the propensity of Washington politicians to keep making the wrong decisions, though.

BIDEN ISSUES STATEMENT ON THE BIPARTISAN SENATE BORDER SECURITY NEGOTIATIONS

"For too long, we all know the border’s been broken.

It’s long past time to fix it.

That’s why two months ago, I instructed my team to begin negotiations with a bipartisan group of Senators to seriously, and finally, address the border crisis. For weeks now that’s what they’ve done. Working around the clock, through the holidays, and over weekends.

Let’s be clear.

What’s been negotiated would – if passed into law – be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country.

It would give me, as President, a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law.

Further, Congress needs to finally provide the funding I requested in October to secure the border. This includes an additional 1,300 border patrol agents, 375 immigration judges, 1,600 asylum officers, and over 100 cutting-edge inspection machines to help detect and stop fentanyl at our southwest border.

Securing the border through these negotiations is a win for America.

For everyone who is demanding tougher border control, this is the way to do it.

If you’re serious about the border crisis, pass a bipartisan bill and I will sign it."

BREAKING! Texas AG .@KenPaxtonTX
has responded to Department of Homeland Security in regards to Shelby Park, in Eagle Pass

“By February 15, DHS must supply the official plat maps and deeds demonstrating the precise parcels to which they claim ownership, an explanation of how Texas is preventing access to those specific parcels, documentation showing that Eagle Pass or Texas ever granted permission for DHS to erect infrastructure that interferes with border security, and proof of Congress empowering DHS to turn a Texas park into an unofficial and illegal port of entry. If the federal government is going to make such claims, it must provide proof.”

In many ways, it seems Texas has become its OWN Government. This is how you HANDLE BUSINESS!
