NEW: The Texas Military Department confirms the TX National Guard has seized control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass (city property where mass illegal crossings are), and is restricting Border Patrol from accessing the area, saying the Feds “perpetuate illegal crossings”.

This is the area where Border Patrol has been cutting TX razor wire. Razor wire and fences are now deployed to block the area off from the public and federal government. Attached video is from our crew on the ground this morning as they began blocking it off.

You can expect DOJ to sue Texas over this.
Texas Military Department statement:

“The Texas National Guard has maintained a presence with security points and temporary barrier in Shelby Park since 2021. The current posture is to prepare for future illegal immigrant surges and to restrict access to organizations that perpetuate illegal immigrant crossings in the park and greater Eagle Pass area.”

I reached out to CBP/Border Patrol in the sector for comment hours ago - no response yet.

interesting that age rules a person out, in your estimation. It occurs to me that the one untapped resource we actually have is people who've lived long enough to have nothing left to live for and nothing left to lose should the set their sights on actually doing something to improve the situation :hmm:

It is not my estimation of age ruling a person in or out of the Guard. It is the Guards Rules. As for me when it comes to war I have no rules. Yes I still have skills.

I expect the Texas troops are better armed than Fed alphabet troops. Just arrest the alphabet troops.

Also expect a possible nose to nose confrontation between the Texas military and the Cartels!

Many in the Biden regime would love to see Texas forces massacred by Cartel forces - use that to scare the other governors (Desantis) and states into keeping silent and leaving the problem up to Biden’s incompetent hand!

Ya know, New York City mayor Eric Adams and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson both vilify Governor Abbott.

But Abbott is the only one who is taking meaningful steps to cut the number of illegals getting in to this country.

Instead of harassing Abbott, or trying to file suit against Texas for sending the buses, these mayors should be lobbying their own governors to send the New Yor and aillinois state National Guard to send troops to the southern border to help the Texas NG stop the invasion.

Slow the invasion and you can slow the buses heading up north.
