(CNN) - Voters in four states cast ballot Tuesday for the Republican presidential nomination, with the largest contests in the southern states of Alabama and Mississippi.

The four Republican presidential candidates, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Ron Paul of Texas are battling for 110 total delegates in Alabama, Mississippi, Hawaii and American Samoa.
