Looks like a mostly white libtard who's found a cause his district would be rooting for and is using that cause for re-election purposes. Keep an eye on his personal life, I'd wager he bends the law in order to commit his 'justice' via criminal activities.

He already testified. He said Sessions is not qualified to be AG because Sessions stands for the "rule of law and order" and not "justice" He said Sessions won't bend the law (I believe he even said it should be bent "greatly" in favor of "justice" instead of the "rule of law and order". Booker believes it should be bent in favor of illegals, blacks and others downtrodden (pretty sure he meant by whites and Repubs) etc.

This sums up the liberal mindset beautifully! How dare you abide by and apply the law. The law is to be bent.

Loved the presser but why is Trump keeping an Obamacrat presently a Deputy Secretary of the VA to lead the VA?????
Why not clean house and put Scott Brown or a Republican in there? It's those who were running the VA that screwed Vets.

I reckon it's because he thinks the other guy will do a better job than Scott Brown or any of the many others interviewed for that job.

Donald Trump won't put up with "business as usual".

Because Trump isn't an ideologue. Political affiliations don't mean shit to him.
He's a pragmatist and will appoint whoever he thinks will do the best job, and fire him if he doesn't.

I watched part of the cory booker assassination attempt (verbal) on Sessions nomination. It was sickening to watch, THAT chocolate pole smoker was doing his 2017 Audition for the 2020 presidential election. The voice inflections, the "oh so shocked" words. The facial expressions, all of it, was his audition.

Hey Cory? Not happening baby, Nice job asshole for being the first sitting senator in the history OF the senate, to try and screw over another senator trying to get the job. I'm suspecting that many will NOT forget your BS today, shitebag. Wanna try and run, for the 2020? You'll be destroyed.

I noticed that Ivanka was at the press conference and will be an advisor to Trump during his administration.
I see political office in her future.

Trump to CNN Reporter At Fiery Presser: ‘You Are Fake News’

President-elect Donald Trump held his first press conference since winning the November election on Wednesday at Trump Tower, and boy it did not disappoint. Trump bemoaned the lack of honest reporters in today's culture, particularly after a new report from BuzzFeed that suggested Russia had incriminating information on him. The piece was uncorroborated. It was rumored CNN also published the report, but Jake Tapper pushed back at that claim after the press conference.

Trump took out his frustration on the media in the room.

BuzzFeed, Trump said matter-of-factly at the presser, is "a failing pile of garbage," while also criticizing CNN.

"Since you're attacking us are you going to allow us a question?" CNN reporter Jim Acosta shouted.

“I’m not going to give you a question," he said. "You are fake news.”

The audience awarded Trump with applause.

Tapper said he can understand why Trump would be frustrated with the shoddy reporting of BuzzFeed, but lamented how he treated his coworker.

Trump is not a party animal. Political parties were strongly warned against in George Washington's Farewell Address.

Shepard continues to show his "stripes", totally expected. Glad I don't have cable.

Fox's Shepard Smith criticizes Trump for 'belittling' CNN
BY NIKITA VLADIMIROV - 01/11/17 04:59 PM EST 166

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...-journalist-should-be-subjected-to-belittling
Fox News anchor Shepard Smith on Wednesday criticized President-elect Donald Trump for his shouting match with a CNN reporter.

Trump refused to take a question from CNN's Jim Acosta during a Wednesday news conference, berating him and accusing his network of reporting "fake news." The confrontation came after CNN reported that intelligence officials briefed Trump about Russia having compromising information on him — a report Trump denied.

"President-elect Trump today told CNN's Jim Acosta the his organization amounts to fake news. CNN's exclusive reporting on the Russian matter was separate and distinctly different from the document dump executed by an online news property," Smith said during his closing monologue.

"Though we at Fox News cannot confirm CNN's report, it is our observation that its correspondents followed journalistic standards and that neither they nor any other journalists should be subjected to belittling and delegitimizing by the president-elect of the United States," Smith added.
During the press conference, Trump continuously refused to let Acosta ask him a question.

"You're attacking us, can you give us a question?” Acosta asked.

"Don't be rude. No, I'm not going to give you a question. You are fake news," Trump responded, before taking a question from a Breitbart News reporter.

The reporter was rude and talking over the President-Elect when he declined to allow him to ask his question. With 250 people in the room only a small number are going to be called on to ask a question and your not going to call on a guy being demanding and making an ass out of himself. From what I read later Press Sec Spicer collared the reporter later and warned him never to do that again or he would be thrown out. You know for darn sure that nobody in the press would challenge Obama like that during a news conference. And I also think Trump was looking for an opportunity to set the tone for his first news conference and I think the message is being sent to the press loud and clear.

I don't have the facts on this guy. But maybe, just maybe, his hands were tied by the crappy administration he worked for? I am assuming president Trump has met with the guy and talked to him. Maybe he wants to see what the guy can do with some backing? If not I expect to see him fired promptly. I don't think there is anybody who doubts Trump anymore and knows he says what he means. Here is to hoping he is making a right call about this guy. My dad's a vet by the way.
We have to drive 1.5 hours, once a week for 5 weeks just to get fixed what can be taken care of by most people in two days 2 min from his house.

I am really really hoping they fix the VA system.

No more pay for play.

WOW! She (the lawyer) just stated all profits from Trump's foreign hotels will be donated to the United States Treasury! Dang!

Oh, there was more. Trump Enterprises cancelled a number of contracts that were closing in late 2016, as in pulled out of the deals, costing Donald and his kids MILLIONS of dollars. He TURNED DOWN a TWO BILLION DOLLAR development project in Dubai THIS WEEKEND! He's taking a salary of $1 per year and has deliberately limited his OWN access to the companies he owns, all to avoid even the hint of a conflict of interest.

I live in the business world. Just arranging a divestiture of that magnitude in three months is a Herculean undertaking. Yet Mr. Trump did that while traveling around the country to THANK THE AMERICANS WHO VOTED FOR HIM, interviewed hundreds of people for dozens of positions, made incredibly erudite Cabinet selections, fleshed out his first hundred day plan, brought Carrier, Ford and Fiat Chrysler jobs and manufacturing back to the US, got the owner of Alibaba to commit to thousands of NEW jobs in the US, got the Phillippines, Mexico, Russia, and China leaders all saying they'll be happy to work with us, stayed married (grin), broke ground on his new hotel at the Old Post Office building, ran an intelligence sting, kept winning the Twitter war, shit all over Obama's "legacy," and absolutely OWNED a room full of reporters who hate him.

This man is unreal. He's inhuman. His team is unreal.

I can't wait to call him Mr. President.

He is willing sacrificing all that for us. He is not doing this for the money.
