I would think anything "gay related" would be considered a religious thread.

I wonder if the scripture if not quoted but just hinted to in the posters words would be allowed.

If I wasn't so worried about my participation on judgement day - it would be so much fun listening to all the excuses.

When in doubt about whether quoting scripture is appropriate, I would just ask an admin to be on the safe side. It's what I would do.

Scripture quoting is not "banned", per se.

It usually becomes problematic and a few people have caused it to be discouraged.
