Baby brother (old deputy) says shoot them in the knees only way to stop them. Works better than pepper spray!

Not to be flippant but as someone who has experienced a double knee replacement, the pain and debilitation before and after is nearly indistinguishable....imo, good advice about shooting in the knees.

I’ve heard advice to aim for the hip pockets. Gets past any vest they are likely wearing, slows them down even more than having their pants around their knees.

Yes, previous decades instruction because when on Meth, the knee shots/ankle shots didn't slow down the assailants.
In a sudden unprovoked violent encounter, one has no time for fancy shooting, it's largest mass of center of mass as quickly as possible. Then follow up with multiple shots to the upper thorax, etc.

Imagine a city without cops. City Council and the District Attorney cannot foist upon the public the whims of political parties and corrupt public officials.

No more: "why did you stand up for yourself, you threat to public safety?"
No more: "we can't arrest someone everytime they commit a crime. Stand up for yourself."
No more: getting arrested or suited for self protecting one' s self.
No more: violent assailants getting a bench summons and released upon O.R.
No more: aggressive traffic enforcement upon working class poorer people.
No more: intimidating the public for not surrendering to corrupt or power hungry politicians and holders of civic posts.

You want to keep your cops? Don't complain when they retreat from a civil disturbance. Don't complain when they arrest YOU for protecting your family or property.

If people who were taught to stand up for themselves would do so, we wouldn't need cops.
If people who were taught to surrender to evil were protected by the above instead of ridiculed, we wouldn't need cops.
If the people who were taught to sheepdog would teach the victims of "higher moral standards" to be sheepdogs we wouldn't need cops.

Go with the Aguila or Federal Minishell slugs for your shotgun. YOU MUST HAVE AN OPSOL MINICLIP INSTALLED TO MAKE THEM FEED PROPERLY. My 590 holds 12 in the tube; 383 grains @ 1,250 fps, 1,320 ft/lbs of energy. That's like getting hit with TWO full-house .44 Magnums at the same time. Recoil in the Mossberg is nothing; like shooting an AR. Minute-of-pie-plate at 25 yards, as fast as I can rack and fire. It's my 'nightstand' gun.

If / when the goblins come in strength, the shotgun gets put aside, and the M400 with D60 Pmags comes out to play.

Yep. Even a meth-head will have trouble coming at you if their hip socket no longer works. A nice side bonus is that you run a good chance of opening the femoral artery, which shuts down their fun in short order.

Yes, my weak point, grammar. I forgot one word and have trouble proofreading my own stuff.

As seen in the video, these two scumbags were trying to kill the victim. Any blow/strike to the head is considered deadly force. With the repeated stumps on the victim's head, there is no question about it being deadly force. Deadly force can be used to stop this attack by anyone there. They could use a firearm, bat, 2x4, knife, car or whatever they have. Of course you could use something other than deadly force, if it will stop the attack. The minimum about of force is always best, but that might be deadly force.
