I usually feel like it's preaching to the choir, here on TB2K.
The only thing I know is to raise the emotional temperature while still sounding rational (hopefully).
I would, though, suggest picking that sliver of hope back up and returning it to your pocket -- every time a new mind becomes aware of what's happening, such as through efforts of people like you, we are a step closer to winning. It's a race.

What is scary, is I think that IF they do this, the following will happen. 1st. All the non Rhino Republicans and MAGA Republicans will all raise hell not standing for it.... next O'Bai den will declare MAGA as a terr. org. and arrest all sitting senators, house reps protesting it.
They might not be creative but they sure are persistent.
It will only take one or two high profile and horrific acts to move the nation in that direction.
Done by a true terrorist or a goobermint paid provocateur matters not.

There are some actual brick&mortar movements related to the Inflation Reduction Act that will need scrutiny in the future.
Some big corporate movements that made little sense are starting to be clearer IF this goobermint plan gains traction.
Foreknowledge and planning on some aspects are unavoidable.
IF this progresses someone will need to ask "what did you know and WHEN did you know it"? Assuming anyone in a position to question their narrative isn't dead or in jail.
I don't intend to be cryptic. I surely don't have any insider information. Just my own two eyes and some questions.

This may be another attempt to distract us. TPTB know that those that oppose them almost universally oppose the Green New Deal and the theories behind it, so this is red meat to us.
I'm not saying that Dick Tater Joe won't do this, I personally think they are indeed that desperate and stupid. But just put it on the watch list with the other stuff we're concerned with and don't let it cover up our awareness.

A few days ago, I was given down the road for saying that the UN led by the US wanted to institute a world wide QR code, during a pandemic to control the movement of people and buying of goods based on their medical history(shots), they can't do that, it's against the Constitution yada yada.
People don't realize, that history dictates that they CAN do that, and WILL do that, WHEN it suits their fancy and no law or Constitution will upset that.
I'm not talking junk when I say it has been done before. If anybody wants, I can give a long list of the atrocities that Lincoln did. Not against the south, but against the North to those who opposed him. And what Grant did in a re-Unionized nation people on this board have said they would never stand for, well they did. They had no choice.
If you want to revolt against this "national climate emergency" who you going to revolt against? It won't be the government. It will be your neighbor, who supports the move. And there are a lot of them, and they don't mind getting violent either.
If you want to revolt by disconnecting from society and going back to 1800's living go ahead but realize that if TPTB invoke a carbon score or something similar to control the people, and you don't have one, your life just got hard by a multiple of 10.
I'm not saying roll over and play dead, but sitting here saying you're against it, has absolutely no effect on what the government, by the people and for the people, will do to the people.
If you think I'm off my rocker research it out for yourself. It's been done before and it has all been documented.
I'm saying best consider prepping up for a time when you need to show something to vote, to buy meds, to receive medical treatment, to buy salt, or gas/propane for your genie.
