I don't go down the paganism route and I don't celebrate Christmas either so that makes me an odd ball today. But I agree with all that it's refreshing once we get the longest night time past us and look forward to warmer temperatures and spring time. To that a hearty amen and may all find themselves more prepared in 2015 than they did in 2014. And may God be with us all.
Well, I for one will Thank You Hf for the kind seasons greetings. I explained to my grandson the meaning of today. How our forefathers celebrated this long night hour day, and why this is the reason for the season holiday.
Whether you celebrate this day or any other in the next week or so, regardless of it's name or implication, it still boils down to things are going to be better because soon it will be lighter longer and warmer. As a warm blooded creature, what can be better than than that?
