A CDC committee will convene this week and likely vote Thursday to deliver permanent legal indemnity to Pfizer and Moderna, through the process of adding the drug companies’ mRNA injections to the child and adolescent immunization schedules.

By adding the shots to the childhood schedule, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) will transfer liability for vaccine injuries to the federal government’s National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), allowing for Pfizer and Moderna to finally bring an FDA approved shot to the market without opening itself up to lawsuits. Moreover, it will act as another windfall for companies that have already brought in hundreds of billions of dollars in revenues, by requiring these vaccinations for children who attend public schools.

In March 2020, the federal government invoked the PREP Act, which gave Pfizer and Moderna a tort liability shield due to the declared “public health emergency,” which the government is reportedly going to revoke in early 2023. The companies’ emergency use authorization shots have since been protected by the federal government through this 2005 congressional action.
A draft agenda published by the CDC shows what will be on the schedule for Wednesday and Thursday’s meetings.

VERY few children have been vaccinated. Most parents realize that the risk to their child from Covid is not worth the risk of the vaccine. Most do not WANT their child vaccinated even if they themselves got it. At this point the majority of people are questioning whether or not they themselves have been had....

If they do mandate it in order to attend school I wonder how many will cave?

The one thing they might not count on is the mamma bear factor.

I don't think they realize how many parents do NOT want their children to get these shots. There will be a huge stampede to other educational choices (like homeschooling) if this passes.

Now, that sounds democratic but the CDC was not elected.
And voting on whether a company is liable?
That is not a "vote situation" - it is a legal determination based on scientific evidence.
Any vote held by the CDC would not have legal standing.

Either the CDC will leave it up to States and/or districts in terms of requiring this from schools, or the CDC/Federal Government may find out just how many Momma Bears there are in the US. Even people who might think this is fine for adults, may not want their children to be put at risk by such a vaccine requirement.

There are not enough police and military in the USA to deal with the level of non-compliance that some areas of the country will experience, and I'm thinking especially of parts of the mid-west and South, along with seriously libertarian areas like California and Colorado mountains.

If the CDC lets States or districts decide (like they do with some other childhood vaccines) then I think the surprise will be not only a rise in Home Schooling in those areas but a mass movement of people out of the areas. In some places like California, this is already happening, but it may increase things along those lines a lot faster.

I don't think the "CDC" aka The Biden Handlers realize what a can of worms they may be opening up here.

And my goodness won't they line up to have their children vaxed. People won't give up their tax payer daycare.

I believe there was mention of FOOD gift cards if you went in the vax line, $50. I believe?

If People will take a $50. gift card, they will get the kids vaxed so they can be in school 8 hours of the day.

I mean that's NORMAL right? Getting your kids vaxed for school is what you do right?

Ummm... the vaccines still have only emergency approval. Until they get permanent approval they can't be put on the schedule. But then, they've ignored all the other laws, why not this one.
And it's not for those of us that have already been through this. It for those over the next few years, that will forget. And those further down the line who won't know, won't remember, won't question because they don't know.

Edit: And in case you haven't seen the info. They are currently testing mRNA vaccines for flu.

If (when) they put the Covid jab on the childhood vaccine list, it will automatically give the pharmaceutical companies indemnity from being sued. It’s from the 1986 the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) that Congress passed. I hear it’s a couple of days away from making the list.

Maybe some fuss in the beginning but most will give in. We literally watched tons of people cave in these past 2 years. Even many on this forum took the jab.

Maybe in a few more conservative states but no way this happens on a large scale in most.

Homeschooling isn't easy and if both parents work it is near impossible except for those that have money.

I know. That is my go to. Flu shots don't mix well with the genetics in my family. Mom and I don't enjoy getting the flu from the flu shot. And I doubt the mRNA vaccine will cancel that effect. If I were inclined to use genetic altering vaccines.

A constitutionally-minded Congress could also RESCIND the 1986 NCVIA Act.
