AS best I can understand it..... the feds have to be invited in to help, according to the constitution........says a lot about the local authorities doesn't it
The mayor of Portland and the governor of Oregon WANT what is happening in Portland.

Since "money" is numbers on a screen these days, what would happen if T. would offer to help any Portland residents who want out to exit?

Scumbags in Bend, Oregon are blocking ICE contracted busses at a hotel. Local police won't do anything. Busses trapped for over 11 hours now.

I wish somebody would pass out chocolate candy LOADED with Ex-Lax to the terrorists.
Also, lots of the dreaded Haribo gummi bears that give you the nuclear squirts! (see Amazon review, below)
That would eliminate a bunch of these commies!

One of our beloved physicians brought a bag of gummy bears to work to share with the staff one night shift. Not realizing they were the famous dreaded sugar free gummies multiple staff throughout the shift grabbed a handful of gummies while passing by and each have their own near miss stories but this is mine...

The next morning I have to run an errand about and hour and a half from my house. On the drive home down a curvy back country road my stomach suddenly begins to cramp and I feel the immediate urge to empty my bowels. Frantic, as I realize Im not going to make it home I start searching for a place to pull over. The end of a gated logging road perhaps? Im speeding along, arching my back, practicing lamas breathing techniques, anything to stall the inevitable. I pass the first turnoff that has a sheriffs car parked at the end and keep searching with sweat pouring down my forehead and bubbling noises in my guts that drown out the heavy metal on the stereo. Finally! I spot the end of a brushy trail and whip my truck sideways, thrusting the drivers side door open and leaping from the seat to scurry around to the other side. I turn around with fingers in waste band about to drop trow and look up to my horror realizing it is indeed the end of a driveway and the folks outside are staring down toward me probably wondering what this crazed individual is about to do. For several moments I seriously considered just completing the task and running away but couldnt imagine my parents seeing the cell phone video of myself on social media later in the day. I scurried back around the truck and halfway there my ability to hold back the hot lava flow of liquid stool from making a hastey exit out of my spasming rectum was lost and I crapped my pants right there on the side of the road standing next to my truck. My bowels cramped up and expelled every drop of liquid from my body. At that point Im now standing there with leggings full of hot liquid stool running into my shoes and debating on what the next best course of action should be. Of course I have no extra clothes or any towels in my truck. What do I do? Do I call someone? Do I drive home the remaining 20 minutes? After a few moments of self reflection I decided to strip off my shirts and lay them on the seat of my truck and get inside. It was a rather uncomfortable drive home with the windows all down and skin burning on the backs of my legs and buttocks. It was one of the longest 20 minute periods of time Ive ever experienced in my entire life. I alternated between crying and laughing at the situation and checking the speedometer like a paranoid drunk thinking I cant possibly get pulled over right now because what would I say? Yes officer, I crapped my pants. Thats what that smell is. Tears streaming down my face. I finally arrive home, screeching to a hault in the driveway in front of the open automatic garage door I triggered as I was drifting the curve onto my road. Holding the bottoms of my pant legs closed tight I awkwardly stagger into my house and immediatly into the shower fully clothed.

Fast forward 3 weeks and Im at work hearing about the other incidents and the light bulb clicks on......

35 years old and I had to reset the clock for the "how long since you've last crapped your pants" countdown....

Thanks Dr Hanson

Lesson learned.......make sure the gummy bears are not the sugar free version

Sorry for the thread drift, but I figured we needed some humor!
I haven't laughed that hard in at least 10 yrs! :lkick: :lkick: :lkick:

Portland is officially a lawless city. Like I said earlier, it should be put into federal receivership and all its political leaders arrested.

Americans are more than feed up with the rioting and public servants not doing anything about this.

When will Americans stand up and take America Back?

When will President Trump release the military and stop this?

At times Brute force does matter, and this is the time. End it all. People's wishes do matter but this shi% is out of control. Major damage is being done. It is time to quell this shit and re-establish some "law and order".

Evil NEVER stops on it's own accord.

It continues until it is stopped by an equal or greater force of good.

Federal agents in Bend, Ore., clashed with hundreds of protesters late Wednesday after an hours-long standoff that was sparked after Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested at least two men the agency said were a "threat to the public."

Bend, which is about a three-hour drive from Portland, was the latest episode in tensions among protesters, local police and federal agents.

"I’ve never been so disgusted by my government and so proud of my community," Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel, who attended the protest, wrote on Twitter.

The protest spanned hours after two unmarked ICE buses were blocked by protesters who apparently witnessed the arrests.
Shortly before midnight, federal agents removed the two detained men from a bus and left the scene. The protesters also dispersed, according to an Oregon Public Broadcasting reporter.

"It appears the Federal Agents have left the area," Bend police wrote on Twitter. "The attendees of the first amendment event appear to have [dispersed] peacefully."

Bend police said it had been made aware ICE agents were in the city conducting an investigation but were not given details, the department said in a statement.

“The Bend Police are not involved with ICE operations,” the statement said. “ We do not use funds or personnel or equipment to enforce federal immigration laws or to detain people based on immigration status…We are on scene to allow free speech and a peaceful area to assemble and to provide life safety support.”

Protest organizers asked participants not to vandalize the buses, according to Cureton. After one person wrote on a bus another person cleaned it off. A speaker also told protesters to "take a knee" when federal agents arrive instead of leaving.
A reporter at the scene said federal agents used pepper spray at least once. There were no reports of violence.

“The law enforcement activity in Bend, Oregon is part of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s mission to arrest criminal aliens presenting a danger to public safety and take them off the street," a statement acting DHS Deputy Secretary Ken Cucinelli posted to Twitter read. "The two individuals arrested each had a history of criminal violent behavior."

"While ICE respects the rights of people to voice their opinion peacefully, that does not include illegally interfering with their federal law enforcement duties," it said. "ICE will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its officers and detainees, and will vigorously pursue prosecution against anyone who puts them in harm’s way.”

Bend Mayor Sally Russell wrote on Twitter she had been told that both detained men had warrants out for their arrest and it wasn’t a “sweep for undocumented immigrants.”

She added that she doesn’t support ICE. “I am very worried for everyone in our community, and especially our Latinx community,” Rusell wrote. “ICE is a Federal agency and frustratingly we have no power over the Executive Branch of our country.”

Newly sworn-in Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz said in a news conference earlier that local police were there only to protect protesters and were not assisting ICE. Police stepped back when federal agents arrived.

"We want to ensure community members present are safe," the department said in a statement Wednesday evening, advising that federal agents were heading to the area to disperse the crowd. "Please move to sidewalks, or leave the area."

Central Oregon Peacekeepers President Luke Richter told KTVZ earlier they would remain there until they saw the arrest warrants.

"If they're going to take people from a sanctuary city, they need to have proper documentation of that,” he said. “We have not seen any warrants for their arrest."
Those who know the detainees said the men have lived there for years, according to KTVZ-TV.

The protest movement to abolish ICE has picked up steam lately along with anti-police demonstrations. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who supports getting rid of the agency, wrote in a tweet late last month, "Abolishing ICE isn’t a radical thing to do, it’s a humane thing to do."

Seattle BLM Protesters To Strangers: ‘Give Up Your House. Give Black People Back Their Homes.’
JOHN SEXTONPosted at 2:41 pm on August 13, 2020

gentrifier.jpg

Last night a group of anti-gentrification protesters in Seattle marched through a section of town for a couple hours to complain that white people were living on stolen land. Well, not stolen exactly. They aren’t claiming the black people who used to live in this neighborhood were pushed out at gunpoint. But they are claiming that an injustice has taken place because white people are now living in new homes in this formerly black neighborhood.

The crowd of maybe 50 people was marching down the street after dark chanting “Black people used to live here!” At one point the woman holding the bullhorn and leading the chants noticed a group of white residents having a party on the roof of a multi-story apartment building. “We’re talking to you gentrifiers,” she said. The crowd stopped next to the building and continued chanting at the people on the roof.

At this point one of the other organizers called for a pause so he could say something. “Hey guys, do you know that you are living in a historically black neighborhood right now?” he shouted from the street. “Do you know that before your white ass came here this was all black people?” he added. “Do you know that people like you came in here and basically bought all the land from the black people less than what it was worth, kicked them out so you could live here? Do you know that? Cause if you don’t, now you f**kin do so do something about it.”

“Open your wallet,” the woman with the bullhorn interjected.

The other organizer shouted, “How do you plan to fix it because you are living on black people’s land right now.” He quickly corrected himself, “I mean native land but black people lived here too.”

The woman on the bullhorn had a suggestion for how to fix it. “Is your name [inaudible] or John, whatever it is, give up your house. Give black people back their homes. You’re sitting their comfortably—comfortable as f**k as if they didn’t help gentrify this neighborhood.” She continued, “I used to live in this neighborhood and my family was pushed out and you’re sitting up there having a good time with your other white friends.”

As the ranting from the street continued someone, maybe the bullhorn woman, said, “Guy in the window is calling the cops.” Not long after the crowd moved on.

Here are two clips from a much longer livestream that show part of the interaction. Hat tip to Benjamin Boyce who highlighted this on Twitter.

How fringe is this group? I watched through the livestream and discovered they had held an impromptu outdoor meeting with King County councilmember Girmay Zahilay just a few minutes before this. Zahilay who is newly elected, was asked what more protesters could advocate for.

“I say this land transfer stuff is really important,” he said. He continued, “One of the pieces of the Black Lives Matter demands is economic justice for black people for indigenous people. That needs to look like land transfer in my opinion because land is wealth. Land gets you the facilities and the buildings that you need to take care of one another.”

He said his generation was tired of “symbolic gestures.” “We don’t want that s**t anymore, we want land…give back the land to the people that need it,” he said. Zahilay was talking specifically about land owned by King County but maybe that didn’t fully penetrate with the protesters. It appears what they got from it was: Give us your house.

We’re not quite to the French Revolution stage of dragging people out of their homes yet but we seem to be inching closer. I wonder if this will catch on. The left is already comfortable going into suburban neighborhoods for protests (and vandalism) of elected officials homes. Singling out strangers seems like the next step. And it’s worth noting that this isn’t just harassment it’s explicitly racial harassment.

Scroll to 1:11:00 in this clip for councilmember Zahilay’s take on land transfer as the next frontier in economic justice.

Bonus clip from later in the night: “Gentrifiers get the f**k out and give us our s**t back…Give it back! We’re coming for you. Reparations time.”

Oregon State Police are leaving Portland to go protect people in counties "where prosecution of criminal conduct is still a priority". Good on them! The courts are letting everyone they arrest go free, so see ya later!

Also, regarding the courthouse, do we know if the feds are really gone?

Um. Were I a human in the Greater Portland area, I WOULD GET OUT NOW.

Rule of Law is gone. Your property right is gone. Property right is 9/10ths of the law, with the other 1/10th being your right to exist. They're rapidly cutting into the 9/10ths and shortly to be into the 1/10th.

Take what you can move and abandon real-estate property which will be worthless in a short time, if it is not already.

Portland is not a place where you want to invest your life and fortune.

You likely will be forfeit on both if you stay.

Once they pull the trigger on a REX'84 scenario, it has to be done "completely". That makes what Wilson, Lincoln and FDR did look tame....
If they do that, it is conveying the message to the rest of the country that only brute force matters, and these people's wishes don't matter whatsoever.
Under the auspices of the Insurrection Act and the U.S Code as to sedition while done by the numbers that may well moot that concern.

ETA: But that means picking up ALL of the bad actors, holding them for public trial and fast tracking the process.
So the question underlying all this is, how long should polite society allow the rioting and arson to go on? It’s been 77 days now. Do we wait until it’s 77 weeks? 77 months? 77 years?

When is enough ENOUGH????

You can’t fix stupid. Now if the idiots choose to come here and try to make me unsafe, I will likely react to protect myself and my property.

Now you democrats have a Presidential
Candidate in waiting who advocates gun confiscation cause it just ain’t right for people in places who don’t vote demo to be able to protect themselves.

The establishment democrats the establishment media and corporate America have declared war on middle America. You and I are the enemy.
