I was actually at a Fuddrucker's once. In Omaha. The folks and I were out there because Jeopardy was opening up tryouts.
Thought it was a brilliant idea. Setting out all the possible toppings for your burger, right there like a big salad bar.
I remember a place in Ncow Hampshire that had an ice cream bar like that.

My mother was a Cherokee shoe fan. IIRC it was 1980 sumthing. Mom went to work and I was supposed to of gone to school. Instead I went back into the house and my room to get my fishing pole after my mother had left.
My good friend was with me and he was sitting on my bed facing the door, I was digging in the closet for fishing gear. He says your mom is here, I said don't even joke about that! Just before she whacked me first up side the head with her shoe..
She was like a fast draw gun slinger with her Cherokee shoes. Fastest draw I've ever seen to this day!
ETA...she also hit my best friend in the back of his head with her shoe! Then drove both of us to school.
