We all need to remember we are a family of sorts, and need to support each other. For some here, it's all they have. We're in trying times, for sure. But if we could each take just 15 - 30 seconds to think about how we reply to our own and how it may affect someone, we'll all be the better for it.

In all honesty TB2K is reflecting what is going on in the meatworld. I've had several acquaintances really lose their crap the last two weeks over stuff that really shouldn't have bothered them at all. It is like everyone is running low on patience and forbearance.

A domestic mink would be my first shot. There are all sorts of gorgeous color variations bred into them these days for the fur market. If this is a ferret, they probably have about the same purpose. Fur collars.

Almost every issue we have can be tracked back to the greed or poor thought processes of some elected Representative or even worse, some appointed hack. In some cases, it might be a Bureaucrat w/ an agenda or a finger in the pie.
In all cases, we can only address the elected miscreants when they reapply for their job. The appointees or Bureaucrats are beyond our reach unless they get really sloppy and leave a trail for some prosecutor to follow.
Were it not for being able to vent here, I'm not sure what might happen.

In order for either class to meddle - elected or bureaucrats - access to money is the key. Without an ability to use money as a tool for tweaking/controlling, they are both powerless.
Start there. How do we design a system that exposes every dollar used by both of these groups; where it came from, and precisely where it went to?

I'm good with that. It would be a great 1st step towards accountability and transparency.
Apply those two features to our list of issues and many would just evaporate.
