From the size of the smoke rising from the location, it seems that the airstrike has completely destroyed the area. The target is definitely affiliated with the #IRGC militias in #Damascus.

I have just been informed by a highly reliable Iraqi source that a significant number of casualties occurred among the Iranian #IRGC militias in the recent Israeli airstrike near the Sayeda Zainab area, close to the Syrian capital, Damascus.

UPDATE: Eight U.S. service members have been medically evacuated from Tower 22 in Jordan, a U.S. defense official confirms to Fox News. At least 34 service members have been injured-- mostly TBI's. The number of TBI's is likely to go up as symptoms can take time to develop

An emergency meeting was held last night for the leaders of the first rank of the Iranian #IRGC in the rest area of Hajj Fadel in the Al-Qusour neighborhood inside the city of DeirEzzor.
The attendees included:

If the US were only going to attack targets in Syria, they would have already done it.

It’s very interesting the U.S. government is choosing today—as it considers a response to the deaths of three Americans in Jordan—to publicize an indictment and sanctions on #Iran’s regime’s transnational repression apparatus. For far too long, the U.S. response to these assassination and kidnapping plots has been an indictment, piecemeal sanctions, and a strongly-worded press statement.
Nothing more.
These are attempted #IRGCterrorists and MOIS attacks against Americans on U.S. soil. This is why myself and others have been saying U.S. deterrence with Iran is dangerously low.
There has to be an American kinetic response on IRGC targets of strategic value to the regime, including on Iranian soil, to signal to the Iranians the costs of such behavior outweigh the benefits.
To date, Tehran has felt that the benefits outweigh the costs and that’s very dangerous, making a “war” more likely if an attack were ever successful. The U.S. conducted targeted strikes against Iraqi intelligence facilities after an attempted assassination of former President Bush in 1993. It didn’t produce a “war.”

Given the biden leash leads back to Obamas fist, and the continuum of actions we've seen- from the pallets of cash to the unfrozen assets to the contortions re: the JCPOA and the refusal to rescind the sanction relief, no matter how egregious the provocation, let alone pose any credible threats to the Mullahs, is the actual problem, has been the actual facts on the ground, I would put myself in the second group.
