TERRORISM Riots in Minneapolis (now the main riot thread)

um this isn't rioting or civil disobedience: IT IS ARMED REBELLION. This will be like the yellow jackets in Paris and France. They came week after week for several months. Think the USA can take this level of chaos for the next 4 months without a break. And this is NOTHING compared to the chaos 3 months ago when people are starving.

headed out for a bit to see what is happening one hour to 8 and one hour and one minute till the second phase of rioting starts These antifa types have a real flaw when trying to connect actions with consequences.

Minnesotan here. My take is that Walz and the mayor Frey have had 3 nights to get it right and they have done nothing but retreat, sympathize, cry on national television, and let even the cop-shop burn...regardless of the resources they've had at hand. Last night it was 500 NG, a bunch of state troopers, conservation officers, and out-of-towners besides all hands on deck Minneapolis cops. They wouldn't even protect the firefighters, so torched buildings continue to burn to the ground.

Needless to say, I'm skeptical that another 1000 NG are going to make a big difference tonight. Not if they are under the same rules of engagement and leadership as have been in place previous nights.

WalknTrot - I've done a bit of research and now realize how naïve I was with my original post. I didn't realize that it was the mayor in Minneapolis that abandoned the PD and let the thugs burn it down. I've now tempered my view of the mayor and governor, hopefully arriving at a better understanding of the reality of the situation.

Have you guys ever seen riots all over the country this bad?

I remember the 1968 riots were as bad. They were all over the country even in cities with as little as 100K. But the current ones are being instigated and guided by much worse individuals and organizations. If it isn't gotten under control soon, it will spread until the race war the leftists have wanted will exploded when the majority really reacts.

"Riots following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. The King assassination riots, also known as the Holy Week Uprising, was a wave of civil disturbance which swept the United States following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4, 1968"

The time we've been preparing for has arrived. :(

I just cannot believe we’re seeing this right now. I can’t say I’m shocked, but I just didn’t think it would escalate so quickly. There’s no way a week ago I could’ve comprehended out-of-control riots in every major city across the U.S., including places like Fargo and Beverly Hills. I’m feeling utter awe and disgust.

Yes, the 1968 riots were every bit as bad. They were all over the country even in cities with as little as 100K.

Here's a link to some of the pictures

My Dad moved us out of Dallas two months before that. The thin veneer of respecting authority (or fearing it) is now gone. What has replaced it is your worst nightmare.

I give up.
I just saw a stream of looters going into some Chicago department store -- through the broken front window -- leaving with armloads of new clothes and laughing like banshees. Disgusting.

Feels sorta like an invasion.
Still hoping it will fizzle out ...who knows.
Anyway, I keep trying to think what the consequences of this, for the country as a whole (not just the Hot zones), are going to be, and what actions should be taken. What will the nation look like next week?

Beyond checking the usual preps, just can't wrap my mind around it.

I was just out of high school and waiting to be drafted or go to college, didn't know which until I flunked my physical.

The main difference I remember is that the politicians were much more firm and really moved to try to limit damages. Today's blue cities seem to be encouraging the rise of the outside agitators violence by a total lack of proper response.

Plus I think Soros and those others associated with him have built a much more efficient gang of infiltrators to drive this beyond protests to riots than back in 1968.

Los Angeles curfew extended to entire city
Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti has extended a curfew, which initially applied only to downtown, to the whole city.
The curfew requires everyone within the City of Los Angeles to stay indoors tonight, from 8 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
“I will always protect Angelenos’ right to make their voices heard and we can lead the movement against racism without fear of violence or vandalism,” Garcetti said in a statement. “The vast majority of people taking to the streets are doing it peacefully, powerfully, and with reverence for the sacred cause they’re fighting for. This curfew is in place to protect their safety — and the safety of all who live and work in our city.”
At least 25 cities across 16 states have now imposed curfews.

What do you think might be the most stressful and least wanted job in America today?

Perhaps being the attorney for officier knee on the neck?
Have you guys ever seen riots all over the country this bad?

No never this organized and nationwide........back when MLK was killed and the Nogs went ape in all the cities I was in Pgh........the national guard came in and set up machine guns loaded and said bring it on..............and the riots ended right there...........they were ready to shoot to kill it seems back then.

All this destruction is with two groups.............the Blacks and their community organizers...........and the Marxist Whites and their commie I hate my race groups.......they are both to be blamed.

The Socialist Democrats (and their usual friends of social justice) are to blame for it all............their social and immigration programs created these low IQ breeding scum for votes which as resulted in an ever increasing class of homo erectus that is nothing but a liability to society.

I wish a microbiologist could come up with something that would target them all for sterilization................I'm that pissed at what a see.

And here it seems like just a coupla weeks ago, the cops all around this nation were harassing people for going to church and having their cars towed.

Now we have cops getting run over with vehicles and being hit in the head with bricks, and they just back away. Hmm.

Selective enforcement and rules of engagement by the city leaders.

The average person is going to see that they get hassled for petty nonsense but the police can't/won't even defend their own precinct headquarters from arsonists.
