She’s a never Trumper.
You know that is not true. I layed the blame for the red flag laws at his feet because he opened his pie hole when he should not have. He is still all we have and I pray to GOD he comes back soon and this time he appionts true patriots with knowledge of the Constitution to guide him. Still though facts are facts, you know he said it. Never trumper no, but I will call him out when he does or says things that are unconstitutional.

Almost every elected republican who has been in office more than one term is lost to the conservative cause. After four years they've bought into the getting rich while lying with a straight face and no longer can be trusted.

There are a few who don't get turned, but they are few and far between.

It's just two sides of the same coin and both are owned by the handful of very rich who control the entire thing.

In 2012, many Republicans faced similar outcry from voters after they voted for Barack Obama’s 2012 NDAA, which Obama signed into law in December of 2011. The 2012 NDAA legalized the indefinite detainment and detention of American citizens

Knew I forgot where that little snippet went. This is how all the insurrection peeps are being held. I had forgotten when it was implemented.

Thanks!

May 17, 2021 the Supreme Court that ruled it was unconstitutional and it's done in many cases without a proper warrant and deprives the person of rights and proper due-process of law on a number of levels. .

It does not matter if an act of congress passed by the senate and signed by the fool in the White House it will still get shot down by the Supreme Court as the earlier ruling still stands.

My rep in Indiana is not on that list! I must still live in a free area. North Carolina...no surprise. Too many New Yoikas, Joiseyites, Crapifornians, and Chicongoites there now. I did note Pence's brother signed onto it. No surprise there either. Traitors.

This current system of Federal government is extremely antiquated, completely dysfunctional.

We kind of elect these dumbasses from our local communities and send them into
this CF meat grinder called Washington DC, where their brains explode.
These people are so overwhelmed that they become useless robots,
all while living off the taxpayer's dime.

They hide behind the huge walls, inside of beautiful buildings and somehow believe
that their shit no longer stinks. This is understandable since they are working and living
inside of a sewer.

When we elect a common person for an office that is away from home, these elected officials
need to live and work from their own communities.

They can teleconference thru skype, zoom, text or whatever, but stay home and
face the music to some of their outrageous dreamed up laws.

When these elected officials are not on the internet, they can
serve some useful purpose as a plumber, electrician, farmer, teacher, lawyer or whatever.

Many if not all of these elected officials have completely lost touch with their roots.

Washington DC is bad for their health.

These Federal buildings inside of DC can be remodeled and turned into public housing
or maybe a bed & breakfast, anything that shows some positive results.

Anyway, this current form of expensive, useless Federal government is not sustainable.

Just my weekly rant........

One of those who voted for it was on TV explaining why. It is in the same bill that provides pay raises and other things for our military. But he noted this is not the final bill because it has to go through another vote in the House after committee meeting and he guaranteed the red flag part will not be in the final bill. Hope he's right.

No, they did not. The Supreme Court ruled on a case where the police relied on a informal “community caretaking” policy. In that case the police had no law to back them up.
