Republicans for Obama is a grassroots organization of proud party members who all share one important trait— we are Americans first and Republicans second. (Even if it is a close second.) Founded in late 2006 as part of the nationwide effort to encourage Senator Obama to run for the Presidency, our volunteer-run, grassroots group now includes over 2000 registered members from across the nation.

Collectively, we have campaigned, worked for, and voted Republican all our lives, but recognize that our Country needs a new kind of leader at this time. While there will always be important issues on which thoughtful Americans will disagree, there are others that cannot be up for debate— our economic prosperity and our standing in the world.

Senator Obama has rejected the politics of division and the win-at-all-costs attitude that has hurt our ability to move forward as a nation. While we as Republicans will not always see eye to eye with a President Obama, we know that his politics of competency and unity will lead to a stronger America.

Here, let me fix it:

Republicans for Obama is a grassroots organization of blindly ignorant, and proud of it, people who all share one important trait - we are blind Koolaid swallowing fools and/or closet rabid leftists first, who are American citizens and for some odd reason still registered as Republicans.

Not meaning to personally slam you, but I cannot for the life of me fathom why anyone who was formerly a Republican (which party used to at least stand for some conservative principles) vote for the most extreme leftist senator (not even mentioning his racism, or his duplicity). WHich of his policies and viewpoints do you like?

Ron Paul could also have provided that refreshing change that this group seems to be seeking, and at least you KNOW what he stands for...

What is the agenda here? If Obama was anyone besides who he is, we would have thrown him under the bus already, just like the DNC and Obama threw Hillary Clinton under the bus. Obama supporters, claim to be the educated ones of us. They should start start acting like it and stop supporting a candidate for President, who quite possibly has a dark side and a hidden agenda, that is not in our countries best interest. NoBama"08" Senator John McCain might not be perfect, but he does care about this nation. Bring Hillary back, or Vote McCain for President "2008" As Democrats, we must stand up against Obama's bid for the presidency.
