If you want great dish towels that will last forever, I highly recommend Now Designs. Even better than Ritz, which was my old go-to. First ran into Now Designs when Honeyville Grains had a store near me (now closed--waah). Large, thick, woven-in (not printed) stripes/plaids, corner hanging loop. Small, straight stitching. Fabric is cut square and true; they launder well and don't twist, ripple, or roll. Iron up beautifully, if that's your druthers. They used to be made in China, but the most recent package I got was made in India. Pricey? Yeah, a bit, but as far as I can tell, they never die. Buy once, cry once.
