We buy lots of those to grind for burger.chuck roasts on sale for 2.99$!
Tried those and they're good. We get the half litres bottles though for 67 cents each.AlfaMan...don't know your price constraints, but here is what I see on Amazon:
Amazon.com : Canada Dry Diet Tonic Water, 1 L Bottle (6-Pack) : Grocery & Gourmet Food
Amazon.com : Canada Dry Diet Tonic Water, 1 L Bottle (6-Pack) : Grocery & Gourmet Foodwww.amazon.com
So I'm looking at the two boxes of 20ea 99mm that arrived today, total cost was $75. And then at the two small bottles of B&B that cost $27 each. I know that 9mm is almost impossible to find and we are greatful to have it, a little bit of something is better than a whole lotta of noting, but good grief.
God is good all the time
Judy

Have you tried a feed store? Not Tractor Supply, but an actual feed store.I haven't been able to get Rock Salt to make ice cream. I checked last May. DH checked again today, store manager doesn't know when he will get any. I was so looking forward to getting these cherries out of my freezer. 2020- the year that just keeps giving. No Chocolate Cherry ice cream for me. Sigh.
It sounds like I'm being a little princess, but there are several more things I use rock salt for that are not so frivolous.
Try Amazon also. Not $1, but I get a 5 pack for $15 and they look pretty good!I finally found dried apricots at Safeway today. Everything I looked at seemed well stocked but I didn't look at any prices.
I also went to Dollar tree. Since my cataract surgeries, my distance vision is outstanding, but the doc had told me I'd still need reading glasses since I didn't want to pay the $2,000 for upgraded cataract replacement lenses. Dollar Tree had lots in every strength, so I go a few to figure out which one I'd need. Very happy me to get readers for $1!! Now I can see the computer. WooHoo!
L.O.V.E. Zevia!!I ordered some of the Zevia today to try.
Got a weird one for you.
Diet tonic water.
Have you ever tried Sparkling mineral water? I’d think it would taste better than tonic water. A trendy drink in Texas right now is Ranch Water, which is tequila, lime juice, and Topo Chico (Mexican mineral water).
If you struggle with kidney stones tonic water is good for you!
I have tonic water with my own carrot juice OR a small apple with a bit of celery juiced in the tonic water each day.
I cannot be specific as most of what is missing I do not buy but noticing empty Fridge/Freezers at the local Wally World. Empty and sparse she;ves. Plenty of Sugar but Corn Meal and Flours is showing signs of getting shifted to hide other things and to hide the Less amounts of them.
Mixedd on the Canned goods-lots of soups and veggies but limited on choices-where there might have been 30 types of soup there are ten, stocked to fill the shelves. Same with veggies in cans.
One thing I noticed missing and less of-things like Pepperoni logs and such. Lots of Summer Sausage but the hard meats are gone.
That thought crossed my mind, too. The two Wally Worlds I've been in this week were stocked to the gills. They won't be closed.
It wouldn't surprise me if they close the north store within the next two years.
Unless they put in more condos out that way, in which case the area could easily support that WW.
It is possible that your WM is one of the ones they are planning on closing. Mike Kalemecco on The Bite PBS discussed how WM has surpassed Amazon in online grocery sales for the first time and talked about the new upcoming Walmart+ system they are implementing and he says it'll revolutionize grocery shopping. I don't disagree with him, however I think in order for it to work they really will have to close a bunch of stores.
Lots of Spam, but not in the flavor I want.
Walmart+ offers fresh and frozen local delivery in addition to non-perishable items and almost anything else the local Walmart carries, so in order for it to take off and compete with Amazon that offers fresh/frozen delivery IF there is a Whole Foods store in a person's area, they'd be stupid to close stores. Remember that what is plentiful during the growing season locally - is not around Nov - April. No, because I have about a dozen CSAs (community-supported agriculture) in my area, plus a lot of the local farms do sell directly to Fareway or HyVee. I checked into that before I moved here. There is a lot sold to China and Canada, but there is a also a strong Iowa market.
Went to Costco this week . (Big Island Hawaii) A month ago you could buy seltzer 32 cans for $10.
Now only one high end brand 24 cans for $15.
Disposable masks a month ago $9.99 now $14.99 for a 50 pack.
No canned mushrooms for months now. Lots of things missing from the shelves. Baked goods are one fourth what they used to be a few months ago.

Really? I wasn't aware of that. And I've had some doozys of kidney stones in the recent past. I just like the taste with the juice.
Canned salmon has gone up to 4.95 a can. I heard something happening to the oregon salmon run.
