If I missed this update on the Azure fire sorry. Anyway I received an email saying the investigation into the cause
Is concluded and it wasn't arson. Said it started in some corn that spontaneous combusted due to moisture or the corn coming into contact with something electrical. In other words they don't have a clue.
And my other thought on this is surely they had at least one security guard making rounds and he didn't smell the acrid smell of something smoldering? I dont buy it. The usual non explanation into the cause.

Wenatchee, Washington this morning a food truck was a total loss. Said the fire started in a battery or propane tank.
This country is not the only place this is going on. Another one on Malta today.

42,000 acres burning in Cambridge, Nebr. Don't know if it is ranch land or farmlands. Saw the update in the McCook
Gazette that I receive.

If that is land used in food production, that is worth looking into to see if it should be included. It is something that I did not think about looking for in the news articles! Is the McCook Gazette an online item that you could post a link to?

I tried but it didn't go up. Just Google McCook Gazette and you get it.

I am currently parsing some of the items in Post #90. It is a spread sheet of events. There seems to be quite a few that are not on our list, but we need to look at each of them to evaluate if the should be included, or if they are already included.

Looking for articles on the following (if anyone wants to help):
14 Jan 2022 - Passaic, NJ. Majestic Industires / Qualco chemcial plant. Water purification
11 Jan 2022 - Memphis, Tennesse. PMC Biogenix. Fatty acid chemical plant
8 Jan 2022 - Wharton County, Tx. Nan Ya Plastic Corp - Is this food related?
7 Jan 2022 - Toledo, Ohio. ADM Grain company
7 Jan 2022 - Godfrey, Ill. Hatch and Kirk
4 Jan 2022 - St. Rosa, Minnesota. Dairy Farm
3 Jan 2022 - Cambria, Wis. Didion Ethano. Dry corn mill.
2 Jan 2022 - Momence, Ill. Van Drunem Farms. Freeze-dried ingredients

(currently only processing the first page on Post #90)

Unbelievable how these fires have increased in 2022. I wish I knew what is going on behind the scenes in the way of investigations. Each one on their own is just another fire. Assembled into a list they are a real eye opener. We are under attack. Slick isn't it? Anyone that believes that is just poo pooed away. Move along nothing to see here.

Just at local Winco store...was told by cashier that the reason there were no paper bags was because of a warehouse fire "up north" (Boise? she said Pendleton) that
burnt a lot of Winco brand food and the bags. Unable to track down any such story and she shut up once I asked too many questions

Food Processing - " the magazine of the food industry" has an article calling these news stories and lists to do with the fires " far right conspiracy theories". It did mention the FBI and the cyber attack warning but could hardly contain their contempt for anything else.
Where have we seen that before? Whoever must be getting nervous over all the news stories to do with these fires.
And I have news for them. It's not just far right and survival websites. News outlets like The Western Standard are questioning the connection between them and whether it is an attack on our food supply.

Any chance you'd be willing to start looking for similar fires/events that occurred in 2018 & 2019 (with reference links so I can index them)? I would really like to build a compare/contract list between 2018-2019 vs 2021-2022 to see if there is a marked increase in the number of fires/events?

I just don't have the computer skills but in searching this morning I did see a lot of them going back years. What I did see is the number this year is way up from previous years. It looks to me like they started accelerating in the fall of last year.

Penn-Ohio wholesale gardens in Painesville. Completely destroyed their area with fertilizer, insecticides, etc.
Of course the cause is undetermined. Earlier this week.

This isn't a fire but Feed The Need warehouse in Durham, that feeds 12,000 people, was broken into and robbed. They stole a brand new refrigerated van, and other important items. Don't know if this is relevant but put it up anyway.
Just happened. The loss of that van will have a huge impact on the food bank.

If I missed seeing this just erase. On-Cor frozen foods 140,000 Sq ft mfg facility in Ft Atkinson. Back in March.
They make frozen fully cooked meat products. Fire Dept got there before it was fully destroyed. Cause under investigation.

My son (24) came to me night before last to ask if I'd heard of these fires on food warehouses.

I told him I had--but asked how he'd heard of them? (he doesn't watch the news or go on conservative sites)

His answer? His friends on Tik-Tok and Discord are talking about it.

The young people are getting the word.

And when I realize that, it gives me some hope.

Not much--but some hope.

Good Lord!

phloydius, how are you coming with your list?

I can't wait to see the COMPLETE one!

Neither here nor there.

I think it’s relevant when these types of places are being raided. Might warrant a separate thread if more of this type of thing happens.

Good find! Another fire just after midnight. I guess they don't call it the witching hour for nothing.

Biden official Samantha Power celebrates fertilizer shortages that will force farmers to “hasten transitions” to “natural solutions, like manure and compost.”

“Never let a crisis go to waste."

If these communist policies continue, our shelves will look like Venezuela. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but disruptions to a balanced supply chain will have dramatic consequences..
