Might want to include train derailments that are carrying food, and ships out at sea that are carrying food.

I think I agree, train derailments, catastrophic accidents, and major rail line destruction (that we can reasonably determine relate to food, fertilizer, or farming equipment) in the US, or in Canada & Mexico specifically destine for the US food supply.

Ship disasters at sea, bringing food/fertilizer to the US probably should be also include. However, I think things like port delays, shut downs and work stoppages that are more general in nature should not be.

And massive food recalls for one reason or the other.

For now, I want to stay away from food recalls (on this thread). There are a very large number of them, and for the purpose of this thread casts too large of a net. I'd encourage you to do a food recall thread, however. If you can identify a marked increase or a specific targeting it might be good information to have.

Agreed, I'm talking when our shipment of almonds comes back from being processed in china and the ship sinks, that's a dot!

I don't remember that one. Can you find a thread on it or article for it, and link it here?

I don't have time at the moment, I don't think it was a thread here I think I heard about it on the local news because it was a big booh rah ha about how it would impact the almond milk supply. Btw I didn't realize that 90% of our almonds and garlic were being shipped to China to be processed! I knew pears and peaches were being processed in Costa Rica.

Fire destroys East Conway butcher shop
CONWAY — A fire destroyed East Conway Beef & Pork on Monday night

We just had one of the few USDA butchers around us burn over in NH. This is will be tough for the local folks who sell at farmers markets because of the tight scheduling in other shops. Not sure where those scheduled there will take thereanimals in the near future.

I could swear there was a fire at a major Coca Cola plant last year too.
Somewhere but I can’t remember what the gas station cashier said, exactly. All I know is for weeks Diet Coke was VERY sparse.

I've been thinking of making a list of all the food related factories, producers, packagers, etc. that have gone up in smoke recently. It seems to be way to many to be just random chance, but without good data, it can be hard to be sure.

Then the following post in another thread started me thinking...

There are a lot of smart people here, and I might be able to find many of the strange fires, but I bet I won't remember or be able to find them all. So I thought I'd ask ya'll if you remember a particular one, if you'd made a note note of it here in this thread and we'd be able to start making a list.

  • Focus on things effecting the American food chain: Food production, distribution, transportation, inputs (like fertilizer and tractors), pet food, baby food, etc.
  • Also okay to include train derailments, catastrophic accidents, and major rail line destruction (that we can reasonably determine relate to food, fertilizer, or farming equipment) in the US, or in Canada & Mexico specifically destine for the US food supply.
  • Also okay to include ship disasters at sea, bringing food/fertilizer to the US probably should be also include. However, I think things like port delays, shut downs and work stoppages that are more general in nature should not be.

Please try to keep the discussion that is off topic to a minimum.
Also look at the list to see if it might already be included.

U.S. railroad companies are distributing about 20% less fertilizer than normal, which couldn’t come at a worse time for our farmers amid the global food shortage.

I joined @jsolomonReports to give an update on the global food crisis and more. Watch here:

Fire damaged US food processing plants couldn’t come at a worse time either. The number of plants and timing should be investigated.

I think most of us would agree these are not coincidences so ok who do you think is behind it? Foreign like China or Russia? Isis? Domestic like Antifa? Our own Govt? And I know from experience unless you know someone in the fire dept or police you can't find out anything if something happens around my area.

Does anybody still have any doubts that we are in a war? 'They' have come up with the most 'near perfect plan' to kill us off. Make us kill ourselves when we have to fight for every bite of food we get to eat. 'They' are rich enough that they can have their food shipped in to them...we can't. We have to 'settle' for what's in our local stores. Remember, while back, all the major fights over toilet paper? Now imagine it's over something far more necessary...like food...

No survivors after plane crashes near Georgia General Mills plant
Officials said none on board the plane survived the crash.

By Ben Whedon
Updated: April 21, 2022 - 10:14pm
An unknown number of passengers are dead after a small plane crashed Thursday evening into several semi-trailers outside of a General Mills plant in Covington, Georgia.
The Covington Police Department told Fox5 that a twin-engine Cessna was having engine trouble and struggling to gain altitude before it suddenly veered off-course and crashed at about 6:45 p.m. on the outskirts of the plant.
Police Capt. Ken Malcolm told the news outlet that the plane exploded on impact and that there were no survivors of those on board.
"We saw what we believe is a wing and possibly a part of an engine, but again it's a lot charred metal back there right now," he also said.
The number of passengers remains unclear and none of the dead have been identified as of press time.
Police did not specify the model of plane beyond the engine configuration and brand, but the larger Cessna twin-engine models seat up to ten passengers, per the company website.
There were no fatalities on the ground as the impacted trailers were mostly empty and far from the plant's main building, police said.
"The fact that it didn’t crash into the plant, saved many lives," Malcom said.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, the news outlet also said.
