We know they have another attack planned. So who will our wonderful leaders blame the next attack on?

AQ. if you blame another nation state, you have to go in and do something. we are already war weary. AQ allows us to add additional controls here in this country, controls that are desparately needed. :shk:

Too bad you can't have 2 questions in a poll....

as in who will they blame and your list...

and for the 2nd question, who do you think really did it?

Mossaud
CIA
Mystery "Black Opps"
etc

I think the administration will blame Iran.

I will wait to blame someone.....depending on how the attack came about I might have a different opinion.

Like if some rag grabs a flight out of London or Berlin and is able to gain control and do some damage it might not be our administrations fault.

If some rag strolls in from Mexico and torches Houston.........

Iran almost certainly. Got to get the people ready for the invasion of Iran. The "war on Terror" must go on, even though it was not considered a big enough deal to close the border with Mexico. No matter where it come from, more American rights and freedoms will be taken in the name of "Homeland Security".

huh?

I believe the 911 hijackers actually arrived via Canada and on legal entry visas back in the late 90's.

Don't remember any of them coming in from Mexico ala wetback transport. :scn:

No vote... AQ wasn't one of the choices... (I took Al CIAda as a jab at ourselves)

I think we are finally getting rid of the idea that terrorism is primarily state sponsored when the reality is that it is now ideologically sponsored. The end goal of Bin Laden et al. is the establishment of a pan-Islamic, theocratic region, preferably (to him) the world, but he'd probably start with the middle east in general, and Saudi Arabia specifically. Anyone who would stand in the way would need to be eliminated as a threat. Since in his mind the US and other Western nations are currently supportive of the Saudi royals, and that the Saudi royals are an impediment to his plan, the goal is to weaken our resolve so that we would not attempt to stop him (or his successors) from taking over their 'Holy Lands' (Mecca and Medina) and thereby establishing a radical fundamentalist baseline to the religion.
As for who the government is to say is to blame, I don't see a nation-state on this one. I do think a few countries on the list may do everything they can to distance themselves from any event, however.

You seem like a smart guy/girl.

Would you stand in line hoping the copious amounts of Aqua Velva throw the dogs off to the scent of the package you're carrying or would you skip the line and use the other more popular way?

You have any guarentees we will stop every single one that trys to get across the "official way"?

We did eventually approve a couple of the 19's visas or official permision slip a couple months after the fact didn't we?
