quite honestly that's what typically occurs - the FALL happens becasue the hip broke and not the other way around . . . prayers going up for your mom from we Raggedies @justme . . . can you also let us know her age?

She will be 74 in September. I spoke with her nurse this morning around 12:30 this morning. Creatine is down to 4. Something she's doing as well as can be expected. Thank you everyone for the prayers. I've been up doing that myself. God please hear our prayers.

Praying for a positive attitude and complete recovery. I had a partial hip replacement when I was 72, after the chairlift hit me while skiing.
I had pain in the groin (off and on) for almost ten years, but now just typical arthritis pain in back if I don't exercise.
