My mother fell broke her hip on Monday and had partial hip replacement surgery yesterday. She has slow heart rate today and was placed with a temporary pacemaker and slow dialysis today. Please pray if you are so inclined. Thank you.

quite honestly that's what typically occurs - the FALL happens becasue the hip broke and not the other way around . . . prayers going up for your mom from we Raggedies @justme . . . can you also let us know her age?

May God grant you peace and healing for your dear Mom.

If possible, don’t leave her unattended. Take shifts with family/friends if possible. Someone needs to be her advocate when it comes to the healthcare system now. Unfortunately, some institutions are still more interested in the money than the patient/family well being. I experienced this first hand…it was devastating. (and I’m an old school PICU nurse)

Take notes and take names. Keep a journal of all that they do. Trust me when I tell you this.

Details matter…maybe not today, but down the road…they can make a world of difference.
