I would be honored to pray for you.

Of all the possibilities that I can ask of God, the creator of all in this universe, the greatest things I I can ask for, is for others........

I will be praying for you.

Adding my prayers. I hope it's a B12 deficiency! I started taking it last year on a whim and I think I feel better when I take it.

I wanted to share with you that I have been taking NAC (600mgs 2x per day) for a week or so for brainfog. Mine is from Covid-19… it’s never really lifted since 1-1/2 yrs ago when i was hospitalized with severe covid— and my doc is not helpful (Kaiser). Anyway… I still have brain farts where I’m like - what was I just doing? what am I doing here? But I do feel quite a bit better overall and less brain fog. And it’s only been a week since I started taking NAC. I can also make a fist now which I was unable to do for over a year (inflammation in tendon). If you google NAC and short term memory - it does seem that NAC supplements may help with memory. Perhaps ask your doctor about it.
you’re still in my prayers!

I don't have time to read all the replies you have so forgive me if this was mentioned.

I read a few studies that recommended daily doses of Lions Mane mushroom. It's supposed to stop brain decline and improve brain function.

I just bought some for Mom because she's showing some dementia. One minute she's fine but an hour later she's addled. And wants to always argue. It's very wearing.

Get yourself on it twice a day. Every day counts!! We all started it this week with Mom.

PRAYERS FOR YOU...

The brain needs fats and other things. A good source- cod liver oil & coconut oil.

When I use these things, I do well. When I forget over time I get run down.

Yes, Coconut oil has been proven to help with memory and even reverse loss of memory.
Used it on my mom when she stayed here. She went back to her completely normal self again.

Ingredients:
  • B-Right Benefits -
  • Support Brain & Nerve Tissue - B-Right features methyl folate, the most biologically active form of folate, plus methylcobalamin & niacin, which support brain & nerve tissue. Methylcobalamin is better absorbed & retained than other forms of B12.
  • Pantethine & P-5-P - Pantethine is a precursor to Coenzyme A (CoA), which is necessary for energy production and normal red blood cell & organ function. P-5-P is necessary for the energy metabolism of proteins & amino acids.
  • Convenient Veggie Capsules - Each veggie capsule delivers methylcobalamin B12, pantethine, and P-5-P. Our formula contains no wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, or peanuts/tree nuts.
  • Superior Nutrition & Formulation - The goal of Jarrow Formulas is to promote optimal health with high-quality, effective, affordable, and superior formulation of dietary supplements. Our customers can be assured of purity, value, and potency.

But does it contain mushrooms, potatoes, pineapple, mango, or citrus, is what I want to know, since those are my main allergies.

I went to a neurological Dr yesterday to be evaluated. They told me I have short term memory loss and it will get worse over time. No cure. There is one hope. B12 difficiency (sp) or thyroid problems can cause this . They drew blood to test but they say it is a long shot. Just offer a prayer for me please.

Saw this in time to get you on the Sunday night Prayer group call. Only 11 tonight but those ladies can pray.B12 & Thyroid issues are fairly easily treatable so lets hope that's all it is.

Prayers going up for you Wab.

Adding herbal remedies for memory loss for those who can take them.
Do some research for Gingko Biloba, Rosemary, Gotu Kola and Sage. There are others as well but those would be my go to's to start. Even sniffing rosemary helps clear the mind. Best Wishes for a successful outcome for you Wab!
