Dear God, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. That crowd was ready to erupt.
That idiot in the white shirt (although he had a right to wear it) was just, well an idiot.
As to his being arrested for wearing the shirt. No, the cops knew the trouble this would cause and they were trying to do the next right thing and get him out of there. They asked him to leave a number of times and he wouldn't, so they arrested him, and it was for his own protection and that of the officers and possibly bystanders.
But that crowd and their frenzy, that's scary!! Thanks for sharing that video, it's an eye opener!

Yeah, he may have been attempting to instigate a riot and that is dead wrong. I would have taken him 10-15, too, not just for his own safety, but for non-compliance of a police order to disperse.
That crowd were crazy, sure enough!! If that guy hadn't been taken into custody he may have been dead today.

OK, I can see your point, but there were also white kids in that crowd. However, for that kid to have done that was just plain dumb.
I REALLY feel for the cops, bless their hearts, they have to go in the middle of all that and try to keep idiots from getting killed.

Warthog, I don't think he was being arrested because of the shirt he was wearing. He was being arrested because he chose to do something (this time it was wearing a shirt) that would incite rioting.
Sometimes we have to use common sense. Our freedoms also come with responsibilities to use the freedom correctly.
Do you think the cops should have just shaken their heads and said "now that's one dumb kid" and walked away? If that had been my kid I would have been so grateful the cops took him away from and out of an explosive situation. If that'd been my kid I'd have told him "that was a DUMB thing to do"!!

I agree. The kid was stupid to have done that. The cops had to have been horribly edgy. I think they did it to protect the kid and to stop Obama supporters from tearing him to shreds.
