That is what I was afraid of. This would cause a collapse of civilian aviation were the threat to start occurring.
If THEY were successful, The President wouldn’t have anything to say. Their effort to destabilize and decapitate the nation’s vital services, command, and control, would be almost assured. The Dems would stay in power, with even greater powers. Never, ever underestimate those treasonous arseholes…

Otto Skinner wrote a book called Adventures in Legal Land which equates a trial to Alice In Wonderland whose main message was that all Beauacracies have a set pattern and formula that if you follow you will always get the desired outcome if you tweak things to your favor.
My main statement is that Trump could use the very processes used against him against them. Think like what is happening to Diddy, only he gets a bunch of authors to write books on each main deep state actor and threaten them with money or else, and still file in court to make it a case of federal record forcing a federal action. Government can't fight if it is fighting itself internally against itself against the people that are running it.
That is really my point.

Sadly, if this is a credible threat. All will work. First two are designed to bring out the chaff&flares. Third to connect.
IF credible I imagine we'll see more multi-plane flights. I watch too much TV therefore I don't know what I don't know.
If I was Trump I wouldn't trust anyone at the present time. Some of my wealth would be diverted to low-key private inquiry. Surely he has been doing that already.

Exactly. For some reason, a small amount of deniability is still attempted.
When looking at the last two attempts in their entirety ALL the misteps can't be excused as incompetence.
Example: they throw out the Iranian threat beforehand yet make no visible effort to increase or enhance security.
Maybe I should have posited the temporary tech would disable the countermeasures rather than just flip a switch.
Bottom line: Increased threat should equate to better protective action. That doesn't appear evident. Jmo

RUMOR: There are reports (most recently aired on Fox News) that the Secret Service has credible intelligence that Trump Force One may be the target of an ass@ssin armed with a shoulder fired missile. As a result the Secret Service is recommending that Trump's campaign use multiple unmarked charter jets to transport the former president and campaign staff. Then this morning Trump flew out on Trump Force One making me think the threat had lapsed. I went to Israel in 1974, flew into Lod Airport on El Al. Because of the Lod Airport massacre in 1972, and terrorism in general, it was SOP for El Al to "corkscrew" down to the airport from elevation, rather than a long gradual descent, for obvious reasons. The stewardesses passed out hard candy to suck on for the benefit of our ears, and it was quite a drop compared to standard approach and landing procedures elsewhere. Boeing plane, handled the maneuver just fine.

Those look like they may be some sort of shotgun mic, i.e. specifically directional. There is nothing that appears to me a magazine or belt attached to them, and no traditional handle.

What if the target is something else that is large, and rather warm, but not with "flames" or "afterburner/exhaust"?
What if the targets are large transformers or power generation units (cooling towers)?
I know that back 10-15 years ago, the bunch over in Syria and Iraq had figured out how to bypass the expired thermal battery issue and make the SA-7 and newer units run on Li-Ion and other batteries cobbled together. But now I am looking for how much Delta-Temp needs to be there for it to get a lock on something that is not a jet engine...
I keep thinking that while bullet holes in electric power equipment may cause a device failure, it also might be "fixable". The damage that a SA-## could do may not be repaired as quickly (or easily)...

RPGs are cheeper, more plentiful and easier to maintain and operate than MANPADS.

It may be a way of programing people to blame an outside group after the DS shoots Trumps plane. And it makes the DS look actually concerned. They can point to articles and say "look, we warned you" and "Donald Trump caused this by his...".
Actually I am concerned that if there is even one SA missile, and they cannot get Trump's plane, that they will hit a civilian airliner just to cause chaos. They may blame trump for their reason for their violence. Either way would influence the election.
