CORONA New Study Finds That Long COVID May Not Actually Exist

Like when my daughters best friends 44 year old boss got it then died, her best friend got it from him and gave it to my daughter who was very sick from it and gave it to me, I nearly died from it. I am 55, 605 230 lbs and was in perfect health. My daughters hair nearly all fell out. I have not been to a Dr for any reason for over 15 years. Many members here also got it and died. You can "Explain it away" all you want, it is still a big fat lie and very dismissive of all who have suffered the loss of loved ones from this virus and who suffered from it, not to mention all of the members here still suffering from it.

Nobody is denying that people died.
Of something.
And that is a tragedy regardless of the cause.

40,000-60,000 people used to die of the flu every year.
Until covid.
Covid seemed to cure the flu.

The "big fat lie" is the claim of an isolated virus.
And that there is proof that this virus caused this disease.
And that they have sequenced the genome.

My view of long COVID has always been that it's someone whose body was having more problems recovering than the gen pop and may have taken some permanent damage. I know one or two who have permanent lung issues now because of COVID.
It never occurred to me that people actually thought they were still fighting the virus in the body. I would have expected that testing would have quickly proven/disproven that.
Tests for viral persistence aren’t common. EBV is one example of a virus that may not be detectable in blood or other bodily fluids, but may be found with a tissue biopsy. It’s prime suspect driving immune dysregulation of ME/CFS.

HIV, most notorious persistent virus, can be so undetectable in controlled patients it can’t be found without invasive tests.

Chickenpox hides for decades, can’t be tested for, yet it returns when immunity is weak.

Is SARSCoV2 a persistent latent virus, causing immune dysfunction months after acute infection phase has passed?
Will it rise again like HIV does 10 years in, cripple some for life like EBV, or come back with a vengeance like shingles the moment your immunity is weakened by other disorder?

This.

I've had the vids at least twice since 2020, both times pretty severe, causing me to be bedridden 3 or 4 days each time. I think I also had milder versions which came and went.

Each time I noticed heart paltatations as a symptom, it's very mild but noticeable. Covid is the only illness that has ever given me this symptom, I am a healthy unvaxxed 50 year old. Had a chest x ray and EKG 2 years ago when my first covid came along, before they were testing... both scans completely fine.

I also believe my sense of taste and smell has been permanently altered or damaged.
