Well according to the Wikipedia page on that ship she be steam powered.
I'm assuming being built in the late 90's she burns bunker oil, so that's not really explosive per say.

MerdeI don't like how so many widely spaced areas are spewing smoke.
Fire department scanner saying that sailors are leaving the pier saying the fire has gotten into the fuel on board the ship.
Fire department dispatch debating on whether to pull back.
Been burning for 3.5 hours. If it's not a total loss, it'll be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
