I've had good value buying NAC (and most other supplements) at...

Though it appears they are having a run on NAC, seems only capsules
are still left available at the moment, no more of the cheaper larger bags.

They state on label packaging 600 mg (about 1/4 tsp) up to three times daily,
or as directed by physician.

Do any of you take it with aspirin? I just found out it thins blood and if on a blood thinner or if you are going to have surgery to ask your doctor.
Darn, I was hoping to give it to DH, but he is on a blood thinner. I'll have to talk to the pharmacist at the VA. Doctors know little except the basics.

My guardian angel/nurse got me on it over a year ago, and I've not missed a day of taking it, along with vitamin D3, B Complex, zinc, ivermectin, quercetin, and taurine.

Not even a sniffle here in that time!
When during the day or evening do you take yours. I'm bad about not taking anything until late evening. Doesn't keep me from sleeping and I take a boat load of supplements, all at the same time.

Mine came today from USPS ordered from walmart.

If you find out let us know. I bought some, but I am not going to take it unless I get sick but I even then I would be worried.

I’ve got this growing like a weed around my area and I hate it. It just takes over and grows tall, then dries out when dead but stays standing. I pull it out every chance I get to lessen its impact on my property. It has taken over the property of my “part-time” neighbors. If you don’t stay on top of it, it will spread out of control.

With that said, if the apocalypse comes, I will cultivate its growth because of it medicinal properties. Also, its leaves are very soft and would make for a good toilet paper replacement ;)
“IF the Apocalypse comes”?
we are already into it imho....

I take most of my supplements, including NAC, usually mid morning. That is between first meds after starting the day, and my noon meal meds. Doesn't seem to cause any problems at all taking them then.

The only meds I take are for allergy and sleeping and an occasional pain pill. I guess there is no reason I can't keep taking them at night.

I just sent an email to the pharmicist at the VA. If they don't give me a good answer then I'll try to see them in the coumadin department.

I took one 600 mg capsule last night and I don't if it was the NAC or what but I didn't wake up really congested this morning. I took it late and did not sleep well, woke up very early for me, don't know if it was the NAC. I think I will take it earlier in the evening.

I just received my NAC order from BulkSupplements.

First, let me say I've taken some foul smelling/tasting substances in my life. This NAC is the the most disgusting, revolting smelling stuff I've ever dealt with. Also, I'm not happy about the expiration date (4/22). I ordered about $100 worth, expecting it to last me a while. Most supplements I've bought are 3-4 year shelf life.

I'm trying to figure out if the stuff is supposed to smell so awful. Some things i've read say yes, others say it's an indication it's gone bad. I'm leaning toward returning it. Thoughts?

It smells and tastes awful at baseline.

Sometimes mixed with soda or juice to improve it when we give it I'm the hospital.

The Graphene Oxide in the jab is the real destructive agent and should be cleared readily with NAC. It is used for heavy metal contamination and to clear the body of toxins.

I heard back from the pharmacist at the VA about DH taking NAC and she said they will take a closer look at his INR. So I started him on it last night. I hope it does him more good than harm.

I have another source for NAC. This is the Best Naturals brand. I didn't want to mention before receiving an order from them. It arrived today USPS. They are labeled plastic bottles that came in a padded shipping bag; nothing special but there was no shipping damage.

I originally ordered the same NAC through walmart. The walmart price has increased from 18 to 22 dollars per bottle of 250 (600mg) since then. When I ordered from the link below (Best Naturals homepage, I think) the price was $18. A week later (today) it is $20. The 25% off coupon code listed below worked for my order and is still listed on the front page of their site.

The Best used-by date on the NAC for both the walmart order and through the link below are 3 years so these are recently packaged.

Free shipping with $25+ order.
SAVE25 is a 25% off coupon code. It works, I used it.

The walmart link for the same NAC, to compare:

As far as odor from the NAC, there is now a mild odor from the opened bottle filled with capsules.
It's not that bad, but isn't pleasant. I plan to keep the opened bottle sealed tightly.

I didn't have any quercetine so I ordered some of that as well. It also came with a 3 year shelf life listed on the bottle.
This is for a bottle of 120 500mg capsules.
They mention 1000mg servings on the label, but that is taking 2 capsules at a time so you'd only get 60 1000mg doses.

My oldest son got Covid a couple weeks ago. He was tested as positive and did have flu-like symptoms. He called us to let us know and I told him about NAC. He had his wife pick some up in town that day and all three people in house started taking it. In three days he was feeling much better and neither of the other people in the house ever got sick. He went back to work this week (mandatory 7-day quarantine) and is almost back to normal.
Neither of us know if NAC played a part in him getting better and the others not getting sick but he does think so. All three are still taking it every day.

UPDATE: I received a 2nd order from this company; more NAC and Quercitin. The 25% off site-wide code is still active. They also have activated charcoal capsules and many other vitamin/supplement type items. As before, everything had a best-by date 3 years in the future. No tax has been collected and free ship with an order over $25.

I keep it around, but lately the shelves have been stripped in all the usual stores. But then I was in a Natural Grocers looking at the empty shelf and having a good conversation about its use with one employee ... when another popped her head around the corner and thought that maybe they had some in the back. Yep. So maybe they're keeping it back there to prevent neckbearding. FWIW.

Vitacost is pretty good. Once they ship you, you'll get email coupon specials for sitewide discounts, 10-15%....All big brands plus house brands at a discount.

I'd added NAC to my daily protein/supplement concoction shake months ago, getting it from here...

Some science on it helping alleviate common lung issues here...

FDA threatening to restrict sales of it, amazon already banning,
if you want to add it to your health arsenal, get it while you can.

They both thin your blood. I am not sure how much though. It would help if you had covid because of the blood clots, but not sure about daily.
I've been taking Mukta Vati for a number of yrs now to lower blood pressure. It also thins the blood I read and supposed to stop taking it if having
I've been taking this stuff for about 1 year now. Initially because of my ongoing continued exposure to COVID. I continued taking it because I haven't had bronchitis, and I usually get it once a year. I rarely need my inhaler since I started using it.
It's good stuff.
No side effects.
I am a drinker....my latest liver enzymes improved dramatically. So double benefit!
