One of my brothers went to town and forgot his little blue mask thingie, only thing he had with him was his shemagh. He wore it in the stores that demanded masks. As he told the guy at the bank, if it was good enough for him in Iraq it's good enough for the bank.

Can you sew? I’ve thought about making a mask from a lingerie laundry bag. The holes are ridiculously large, probably the diameter of a pencil eraser.

My daughter in Denver bought some lace on amazon and wears it. She said no one bats an eye. It’s all about the illusion of compliance.
My DW and I were just talking about this I suggested plastic window screen but the lingerie laundry bag is far better. It would conform better and be more comfortable.

more and more minimum-wage workers at grocery stores or any other retail ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB IMO......over and over some 20's-something woman turns to me (the buyer) and asks, "What's half that price?" I BUY LOTS OF MARKDOWNS...today the cashier couldn't divide $7.29 by 2...........I glanced at the screen and said $3.65....didn't even strain one neuron................but it flummoxed her

My daughters boyfriend carries in Colorado and he was the one that told me about not being able to wear a mask while carrying. Can you point me to something I can send him?

There are two levels to the laws about wearing masks and carrying weapons. State and Federal. Here in NC the Govna' resinded it for the emergency. The Federal law is still in place.

Only you can come up with this stuff. Amazing. :xpnd:

I give up.
If I remember, in the old Little House books, they used to do long division in their heads. I never could do that.

However, ever since I was 16 and got my first store job, I could make change, and also figure 7% sales tax in my head. It's not hard.

In the county where we live masks are not mandatory, it's left up to individual businesses whether to require them or not. Being retired, we mostly stay at home, and when we go out, it is to stores (grocery, Walmart, Lowe's) or restaurant carry-out. I would estimate that about half of the people I encounter wear masks, and the majority of those are store/restaurant employees. I don't wear a mask and have yet to have anyone give me the stink-eye or chew me out for not wearing a mask. We purposely avoid stores that require a mask (Menard's).

I’m just here for the gasoline...
I'm the one that can't breath in a damned mask. It's my O2 level that drops to a dangerous level. Just what, pray tell, do you suggest?
So how does a mask...that won’t block the virus...block oxygen molecules which are much, much smaller? You’ll have to explain the mechanics of O2 levels dropping with the presence of a mask.

Glad you got your rocks off yelling at some minimum wage worker...you should be proud...enjoy your virtual victory lap.

Oh...and it’s BREATHE...not breath...

You haven't been here long enough for this kind of trolling.

Your last warning.

While the commentary may not be appropriate, the question is legit...

There have been many people with respiratory issues who have commented on their difficulty breathing in a mask.

It's even allowed for by the state rules as mentioned in the OP.

I'm sure the medical advisors to the governor have a clue.

So actually, your question was answered in the first post.

I have those dumb blue surgical masks
Three layers.. DH and can't breath in the dumb things,.hate them
So I took some fine embroidery sissors and slowly and very carefully cut out
the 2 inside white layers.careful not to cut the blue layer..so they are close to fishnet masks. We only wear these if forced.

We take Ameriden's Olivfactor (the original olive leaf extract) and their Betafactor (beta glucan) and we don't catch vital infections. Have not had cold or flu in twenty years.!!
They have a website. We just quit getting sick. If something tries to attack us it only takes about an hour or two for our immune system to kill.

Thank you!! I'll give this a try. Sort of like breathing in stealth mode. :)

Stopped at the neighborhood O'reillys today. As soon as walked it the door the little twat behind the counter called me out because I didn't have a mask. I yelled out (yes, yelled) "I have serious pulmonary problems. This makes me exempt from Gov. RINO's decree." She gave me a 'deer in the headlights' look and I went ahead and got what I needed. Just to be a further asshole I went to her for checkout.

I am so sick of this BS!
Did you cough at her!

Saw a father and his little boy wearing a Storm Trooper mask with light saber (I know, Storm Troopers don't carry sabers) in the store the other day. Very cute and I thought it was funny. Good for him!

I’m tired of people being jerks over masks. Ever think that it was part of the clerks job duties? It probably ranks up there with cleaning the customer bathroom.

was at clinic to give blood and a guy came outta the bathroom with a pee sample

he handed it to clerk and as soon as he left she went in and cleaned the bathroom

sux to be her

I've spent a lot of time in the hospital since last january (9 days total with a $300K bill, got great insurance) I've npticed that nearly all the Doctors and Nurses don't wear their masks "Properly". They let them slip a little so they can breath.
I've seen many people do this just below the nose ,usually no one bothers them unless they run into Karen
