well... (correction 1 actually sprouted 4 days ago-the second sprouted 2 days ago)the 2 seeds that were in pots sprouted 2 days ago (one is now an inch tall). I took the 2 that were in paper towels and planted them in soil as well, they haven't shown any signs of sprouting yet. I will post pictures soon.

Thanks! That's neat how quick they grow and how full of leaves already. Do you plant to keep them in container pots or plant outside?

I'm treating them like tropicals-they'll come in during the winter here in wisconsin. You can also grow them as an annual and let them die back. I'm planning on doing that next year and saving any seeds I get.

Interesting - I'm not sure who this group is but they have documented studies of moringa and antimicrobial, anti cancer and various other disease results

I live in a cold area too and would want to pot one to be sure of it's survival. I think it will need to be pruned down to fit inside. China Connection's post #12 has information on the plant care and the section titled Pinching the Tips might be helpful in pruning.

Thanks so much for the additional health information you've provided, it took me awhile to read it and I also found it very interesting!

I love following your updates, thank you for sharing your experience!

I'm still waiting for my seeds to come,,, waiting waiting waiting

Its not they are taking long to deliver I just really want to get them going.

I plan on starting them in the house, moving them to pots on the porch till winter and then into the green house with my wintering tomatoes.

Thanks for the plant posting China Connection,,, I'll pass on the eating guinea pigs
