Alas Babylon

Hypnosis. Michael Sealey does free YouTube videos covering a wide variety of self-hypnosis topics, including for pain. They do help.

?!?!

Alas, Babylon?

Revelation 18:19
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Trying to tell us something, Helen?

Girl tells how many doctors ignored her monkeypox symptoms. She was confirmed for monkeypox eventually.

Well isn't THIS effing special. My neck of the woods. Not a peep on the local news or online chatter either.

Right arm and head lymph drains separately from the lymph in the rest of the body. FYI

Vaccination will be more or less voluntary while supplies are tight. All the old farts on the board survived vaccinia.

The new vaccines are non-replicating, which was a problem with the old DryVax we got.

Different companies have different proprietary processes. Tonix Pharmaceuticals used a chimera horsepox, an attempt at resurrection of a dead virus initially done in Canada at a university.

You will have choices to make (again) soon.

As the monkeypox outbreak grows, the preferred vaccine to combat it is in short supply—a problem that’s only getting worse now that countries are expanding access to the vaccine. But there is a strategy that could double overnight the number of people who can be vaccinated: use a single shot instead of the recommended two.

Compelling data from monkey and human studies suggest a single dose of the vaccine—produced by Bavarian Nordic and sold under three different brand names—solidly protects against monkeypox, and that the second dose mainly serves to extend the durability of protection.

Which vax is preferable, in your well studied opinion?

Yes my inquiring mind would also like to know. I think. I’ve been trying to do the things here at home, eyeballs deep in the garden, rabbits, chickens etc.. just am getting caught up now. Thank you all for the hard work on these threads.

I've done these for years with good benefit.

Skip the lucid dreaming and higher self sections. Unless you're bored and really like bizarre dreams.

Focus on pain and anxiety control. There are many to choose from related to physical and mental health. You will probably need these techniques when the case count exceeds medication availability.

I'm seeing lots of stuff on political social media of normies claiming this a farce. Really? With all we're seeing I think we have a soft bio war going on and once a full war in eastern Europe is declared we will see the big guns in the bio-weapon sector brought out.

For most people out in the world, MP isn't even on their radar. They haven't even heard about it. I was talking to some of those people, yesterday.

I wish some of the medical professionals on the forum would weigh in on all of this, just to give us their own perspectives.

Niece works as a respiratory therapist at the local e.r. Didn’t know a thing about it when I mentioned it. Even the hospitals aren’t aware.

Same here. I have several family members in the medical profession, and they haven't heard anything about it, either. Sure makes me wonder.

same here, a nurse that takes care of jeancat at home and her alpha-1 (I am jeancat husband) was shocked when I asked her about monkey pox. She did know anything about it. When I showed her the spreadsheet on how fast it was replicating, she was really shocked.

Some people who have heard about it think it's just a more severe form of a chicken pox type disease that's being spread in and around the gay community that makes you very uncomfortable if you catch it, but it's not life threatening. There are others who have heard about it that are not concerned at all, because they have received the smallpox vaccine as a child thinking they are immune.

There are so many different thoughts and opinions about this that it's hard to know what's true and what's hype. Is the truth somewhere in the middle?

I don't know, either. That's why I'm keeping an eye on alternative news sources when I should just shut off the computer and stick my fingers in my ears and chant Lalalalala! for the rest of July.

For planning purposes, I'm assuming TPTB will respond in the same way as they did for Covid in the early stages. I'm now much better set up than I was but I'm not where I want to be in terms of completing my task list. I have about three more projects to go and then things like painting can be done without power if that becomes an issue.

And, yes, working on the house keeps me calm. Painting a wall is good medicine and not as hard on my liver as consuming alcohol. :jstr:

I'm to the point that I don't know what or who to believe anymore. I read a lot on the net about it, and there's points of view all over the place concerning this disease. I don't know what to make of it all. I do know that there is also a lot of fear and hype over it, too. Lots of biased opinions/tweets that are spreading fear and panic. I'm trying to be as prepared as I can be no matter how it turns out. Really, what else can we do?

The truth is not in the middle. If it were, one could go to the middle and find it. The truth is somewhere outside of it all, constantly on the move, and may not be possible to find.

You have encouraged me to paint some of our walls in our home too. Fairly cheap project, and it builds morale!

We have another, silent pandemic which has been concurrent to Covid and now MP - a Pandemic of "Reliance on Trusted Authority" (my theory/name for it).

Basically, If Faux-chi or the CDC or the MSM hasn't rang the Alarm bells, they (eta: the service providers) aren't paying attention.
