In the "who would have thought this would happen," category no less a Liberal fake news outlet like Huffington Post writes that the Me to movement, which uses the unrestricted smear and destroy modus operandi to basically destroy any man who is even accused, whether he is guilty or not, of any potential "sexual harassment, or abuse, or un PC utterances or any of the increasingly long list of abuse to women, men have decided to back off. Just like the case with police no longer bothering to enforce the law because they can be thrown in jail for even making the slightest mistake.

Huffington Post tells us that a staggering 60 percent, and yeah that is nearly two out of three, business managers will no longer work alone with a woman, much less mentor her. The clear result of that will be reduced advancement for women in business, along with other negative impacts on their careers.

Me Too Backlash Is Getting Worse

A stunning 60% of male managers said they’re uncomfortable mentoring, working one-on-one, and socializing with women at work, according to a survey released Friday morning by LeanIn.org, the women’s advocacy group founded by Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg.

That’s an increase from last year, when 46% of male managers said they were uneasy working with women after several prominent men lost their jobs over sexual misconduct claims.

THE CURRENT 60 PERCENT IS A 25 PERCENT INCREASE SINCE LAST YEAR.

:lkick::lkick::lkick: This makes me laugh, despite the fact that non-feminist women such as myself are in the same boat. Unintended consequences much? They say a rising tide floats all boats...this is a case of the boat getting drilled full of holes and we’re going down. I can’t say I blame the men; it’s merely the better part of wisdom.

I wonder if the can see the connection between cause and effect, or if they've wondered so far afield they've lost that ability.

Do you remember back in the Trump/Pence 2016 campaign how Pence got trashed because he said he never went to lunch with any woman not his wife, or how he always left his office door open, and with his long time FEMALE secretary keeping track of what was going on? And how the LIBERALS sneered at him for that. Well, gang this is exactly what some 60 percent of American male businessmen are now doing. Yep, this lack of mentoring to women by senior male managers is going to really damage women trying to get advice and experience to move up the ladder.

Heck, why would any male manager take the risk involved here? The answer is they don't, and they will not do it in the near and medium term either. In fact, men may never privately mentor women in the next several decades.

we are not talking about rape, or violence, or the kind of sexual harassment that can, and has taken place. Still, it is women who are going to take the brunt of this me to backlash.

I certainly can't blame men for wanting to beware of going near a woman, anymore, with so many of them accusing a man of allegedly being groped. Henry Makow, on his website, henrymakow.com, has had some interesting discussions about this sad state of affairs.

It is even making men afraid to get friendly with a woman he is interested in, fearing that she misunderstand an innocent, friendly touch on the shoulder!

And, in a scenario where it starts to get romantic, does he first have to ask the lady if he can kiss her? At my age, and I'm a tad past that stage, but I think I'd prefer to have a man whom I'm starting to have a budding romance with, swoop me into his arms and give me a wild, passionate kiss! But, then, that's just me.

Actually, in many colleges and universities they do have "lists" of the various steps that need to be taken to prove consent for dating and sex. After all, we can sneer at the soy boys, beta males etc, but there is a reason American young men are turning into women, and young American women are turning into men. It is both cultural and biological. I have long suspected that all the chemicals men are exposed to are turning reducing the various male hormones.

It is just ironic that now women are complaining men won't mentor them, when they created the situation that makes that nearly impossible for men.

Oh, don't worry, Doug...I'm sure they can just sue their way into upper management instead.

The pendulum is swinging back from the far left to the far right. As a woman, I'm glad to see it, even with the consequences.
