They are just getting everything they voted for. Kalifornia has been in the self destruct mode for a few decades, and it's only going to get worse. Some are fleeing like diseased rats to infest other states, most are staying in their socialist paradise to enjoy the anarchy.

Proof positive that liberalism is a mental disorder.

WATCH: 'Mass Looting' Moves to San Francisco Bay Suburbs; 'It Was Insane'
Joel B. Pollak3-3 minutes 11/21/2021

A looting spree in the San Francisco Bay Area continued for a second straight night on Saturday — this time, reaching the suburbs.
A “mass looting” took place at about 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, California, an affluent suburb east of Oakland.

Dozens of people were seen raiding the department store before making their escape:

The looters’ method is apparently to travel in large convoys of vehicles, block roads, and then seize whatever they can before leaving.
CBS San Francisco reported:

A manger at a local P.F. Chang’s nearby told CBS Los Angeles that the looters rushed into Nordstrom in ski masks. “It was insane.”
Police told NBC News that “one employee was pepper sprayed, and two others were punched and kicked. All three sustained minor injuries, and were treated and released at the scene.”

Looters ransacked several stores, including Louis Vuitton, in Union Square in downtown San Francisco the night before, prompting police to restrict vehicle traffic to the area.

Well, since work is out of the question with this group they must be going to use these tools for other than their intended purpose. Bringing mallets and sledge hammers to a gun fight might not work out well for them. Hopefully!!

Flourishing "black market" on ebay, for one, but there are many ecommerce options for moving the merchandise. Imagine the PTB are planning to use these to help tighten our ability to buy and sell amongst ourselves, and without their taxing and regulating oversight..

The "you loot we shoot" photo ops are cute..... don't ever be foolish enough to pose for one. In fact, don't let your self be photographed with a gun at all in a WROL situation.

Those with an agenda will come well after the emergency is over just like Katrina.... photos are not your friend and the SSS philosophy will serve you best!

They are using them (the tools of the trade sledge hammers) to break unbreakable glass in jewelry stores. Breaks a big enough hole to put arm in.

So they steal them from Home Depot to use in another crime.

Saw a report somewhere it is written, that the bay area stores were nearly empty on Black Friday. Makes one wonder why?

Reward increased after KRON4 security guard shot in Oakland

by: Peter Snarr, Liz Jassin
Posted: Nov 24, 2021 / 02:38 PM PST / Updated: Nov 25, 2021 / 02:14 PM PST

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) – A reward has been increased to help catch the criminal who shot a KRON4 security guard during an attempted robbery of a KRON4 news crew.

After contributions by KRON4 and parent company Nexstar Media Inc., the security company associated with the guard, Star Protection Agency, and Oakland police the total reward is now $25,000.

The money will be given to the person who provides information that leads to the arrest of the individual, or individuals involved in the shooting.

Police say the incident was an attempt to steal camera equipment on November 24.

The KRON4 crew was covering a story on a recent smash-and-grab robbery where 12 thieves wearing masks and hoods raided the Prime 356 clothing store on the 300 block of 14th Street.

The shots were fired around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Oakland police investigating clothing store burglary involving over 12 suspects

The KRON4 security guard was shot in the lower abdomen and taken to Highland Hospital for surgery, according to police.

As of 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, the guard is out of surgery and in stable condition. The guard is a former police officer.

Officers later found an additional victim involved in the incident; a Berkeley man who was also transported to Highland Hospital for treatment and as of Wednesday was listed in stable condition. The man was hit by bullet shrapnel according to police.

In a statement released to KRON4 on Wednesday police had listed two additional victims, but later clarified there was only one additional victim.

The additional victim was released from the hospital on November 25.

Three charged for looting Walnut Creek Nordstrom

The KRON4 reporter was not physically injured but is understandably shaken.

“As you know it’s been an extremely violent week. We are asking if you were in the area, have a business or live nearby to please check your surveillance footage as you may have captured the crime before, during, or after it occurred,” Oakland police said in a press conference.

Local television stations, including KRON4, regularly use security guards when covering news stories.

In the past, a number of Bay Area news stations have been targeted for their camera equipment by thieves.

“At KRON 4, the safety of our personnel is our top priority which is why we assign security to reporters when working in the field. Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with the security guard and his family and we wish him a complete recovery,” KRON4’s Vice President and General Manager Jim Rose said in a statement.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact investigators at (510) 238-3426.

This is a developing story and will be updated with more information as it becomes available.

The security guard died this morning in the hospital.

Large Groups Rob Burnsville, Maplewood Best Buys On Black Friday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — On Friday night, two different Best Buy stores in Minnesota were hit with large-scale thefts. It’s a recent trend that spans across the country. Major cities in California were hit with the same style crime earlier this week.

“A lot of crazy theft stuff going on. Not good,” said Best Buy shopper Sean Misgen, at the Maplewood location.

“I wouldn’t feel good if I were here and that was happening as I’m there, seeing people run out with stuff,” said Best buy shopper Betiana Romero.

At the Maplewood Best Buy approximately 10-12 people stole items before getting away. In Burnsville, it was a larger group of 20-30 who made off with a large amount of electronics.

Best Buy issued a statement saying in part: “As an industry we are working with local law enforcement and taking additional security precautions where it makes sense.”

Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher weighed in during his live stream last night: “We can’t tolerate that kind of behavior. Just as a society, we just can’t,” he said.

Suspects were gone by the time police arrived at both scenes last night. There were no injuries reported at the Burnsville store.

“I’m not worried about me in general. If people come in and rob the store, they’re going to take stuff not me. I’ll just do what I need to do,” said Best Buy shopper Lao Yang.

TV’s, tablets and hoverboards were among the items stolen in what police are calling a “grab and run” theft.

“Especially with the car theft going on and all that sort of thing, you gotta be careful,” said Misgen

Police are investigating if these similar crimes were connected in any way.

Democrats Have Only Themselves to Blame For Organized Looting Crisis

BY RICK MORAN NOV 27, 2021 3:19 PM ET

Is it an accident that big cities with radical Democratic mayors and radical prosecutors are suffering from the most spectacular — and worrying — streak of organized retail theft in history?

Democrats might want you to think that. They will claim that their radical policies with regard to criminal behavior have nothing to do with the lawbreaking that’s happening in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Minneapolis.

Just an unlucky coincidence, right?

San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin announced felony charges for nine of the dozens of looters who crashed into luxury stores in San Francisco and ran out with several hundred thousand dollars in merchandise.

“These are not petty thefts,” Boudin said in a Tuesday afternoon press conference. “This is not misdemeanor conduct. This is felony conduct,” said the adopted son of Weather Underground parents Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.

SFGate:
Of the dozens seen at Louis Vuitton and other retailers on Friday night, the nine individuals arrested by San Francisco police and charged by the District Attorney’s Office are between the ages of 23 to 53. They are largely based in San Francisco and the broader Bay Area, with the exception of one man from Georgia, according to a list provided by San Francisco police.
“We do not tolerate that kind of behavior in our city,” Boudin added.
Well, yes you do, Mr. Boudin. You tolerate it on a smaller scale, that’s all. When two or three kids fill a shopping cart full of merchandise and run out of the store into a getaway car, and you don’t prosecute them because the value of what they took is less than $950, that’s a tolerant attitude to take.

Related: San Francisco Police Commissioner: Arrests Won’t Stop Crime
In response to the luxury store smash-and-grab robberies, police were out in force on Black Friday hoping to deter more trouble. But the increased police presence didn’t make shoppers more at ease.
The increase in security is in response to last week’s organized mass retail theft that made national headlines and left some shoppers and business owners on edge.
Some shoppers on Friday said the plywood decorated storefronts and heavy police presence made it hard for them to get into the holiday spirit.
“You expect to find holiday decorations,” said Yousre, a tourist from Paris who visited Union Square on Friday. “It’s sad.”
Businesses said the recent rash of thefts across the Bay Area have left them no other choice but to take precautions.
“We’re just limiting how many people are allowed to come in the store at once,” said Jeffrey Chery, a manager for DITA.
It’s not just San Francisco, of course. Minneapolis with its radical Mayor Jacob Frey was the scene of massive looting of a Best Buy store.
New York Post:
A mob of 20 to 30 suspected looters converged on a Minnesota mall, rampaging through a Best Buy electronics store — the latest in a rash of “flash mob” type thefts across the US in recent weeks.
The incident in suburban Minneapolis, which police said involved no weapons, took place near the Burnsville mall Friday night. Police did not have an estimate on how much merchandise was allegedly stolen.

The problem for these cities is that the situation won’t get any better until voters throw the radicals out. But there are so many people who think as the radical prosecutors think: the looters are justified in taking whatever they can carry because they are oppressed and victims of racism.

Boudin is probably too smart of a politician to give voice to that sentiment. But does anyone reading this think that he doesn’t agree with it?

LAPD union leader urges visitors to avoid their fair city
By Monica Showalter

It's never a good thing when locals warn you to stay out of their crime-infested city.
When it's the police themselves, well, then it's pretty obvious the city has a problem.
Which has brought us this:
The Los Angeles police are telling the public not to come into the area for Christmas because it’s like “The Purge” movie.
LAPD Detective Jamie McBride recently told media, “My [message] to anybody considering coming to Los Angeles is ‘Don’t,’ he said. “We can’t guarantee your safety. It is really, really out of control […] It’s like that movie ‘Purge’ [sic]. Instead of 24 hours to commit your crime, these bad people have 365 days to commit whatever they want.”

7_124_9.gif

The video can be viewed at the Conservative Treehouse site here. A similar one is here:
View: https://youtu.be/M6FEwBdFBr8

And who better would know about the crime situation of a city than the local cops?

A rabidly leftwing Soros-financed district attorney, a wokester political class that defunds the police, zero bail, an absentee mayor, and one brazen crime after another going unpunished seem to have amounted to a petri dish for the continuous crime that is now plaguing the huge sprawling city of Los Angeles. Not even the wealthy of Beverly Hills have been able to escape it, a wealthy philanthropist's wife was recently killed in her home in the one of the wealthier and presumably more protected parts of that wealthy city-within-the-big-city -- by a two-bit lowlife robber who should have been in jail, signaling that no one in that metropolitan area is really safe. The fancy Nordstrom's over at high-end 'The Grove' shopping center not far away with the same telephone prefix as Beverly Hills was recently targeted in a smash-and-grab mass looting. Rodeo Drive has had problems and been on the alert, too, as have the area's dining establishments, whose customers have been subject to mass robbings of their purses and watches by organized robbers. It's gotten so bad that Beverly Hills residents are arming up now.

According to Michael Shellenberger, writing for the New York Post a couple days ago:
“I’ve always been anti-gun,” said Debbie Mizrahie of Beverly Hills. “But I am right now in the process of getting myself shooting lessons because I now understand that there may be a need for me to know how to defend myself and my family. We’re living in fear.”
7_74_19.gif

During Black Lives Matter protests last year, Mizrahie told The Post, her neighbor’s home was firebombed with Molotov cocktails.
“My kids were outside and they saw a huge explosion,” she said. “[The neighbor’s] backyard went up in smoke. Trees burned down … But it’s only gotten worse. Beverly Hills has been targeted.”
Mizrahie, a 40-something mother of two teenagers, isn’t alone. Ever since the protests last year descended into riots and lootings, a growing number of Beverly Hills residents have been buying weapons.
“It’s gotten to a point where residents feel insecure even going from their door to their car,” said resident Shirley Reitman. “A lot of residents are applying for a concealed carry weapon permit, even though that’s a great challenge in LA County.”
That's fancy, placid, green and lovely Beverly Hills. Imagine what the rest of the city is like.
The police union official's remarks come in stark contrast to what the police brass with their political concerns are saying -- that crime is down.

Last October, CBS2 reported that they were singing a different tune, and Los Angeles crime trends looked like this:
At the bottom of the page were statistics on shootings. There had been 1,202 shooting victims this year as of the morning briefing, an increase of nearly 20% over the 1,007 at the same point in 2020 and nearly 50% over the 802 at the same point in 2019.
There had been 326 homicides, compared with 277 last year. They included 72 cases in which the victim was homeless — a 33% increase over 2020 — and 35 in which the suspect was homeless.
The police chief at the time described the Los Angeles crime issue as a problem of "compounding."

Everyone knows that crime is out of control because criminals know they are going to get away with it. The police have been demonized, bail has been eliminated, and now the cops are helpless. The only thing to do now is get away from the place, as the police union official has urged. What a miserable message to see coming frrom the innards of the city. Seems Joe Friday's "the city" doesn't exist any more.
