There was a member here that pointed out the Nuremberg Code does not apply or useless, but this whole list of things does go along with that Nuremburg Code (see doctors trials 1947) and forcing someone to take what the makers and doctors know is an unsafe drug or treatment that will do harm to a person.

THAT is the dilemma.

Significant salary...above six figures. 10% 401K match. Over the last 7 years, my prior annual bonuses have been between 20% and 40%. 4 weeks vacation, 10 sick days....10 additional sick days if it involves Covid. Flextime, work-from-home. Planned to work 4 more years.

Won't be able to find anything approaching my current gig if they end up tossing me for non-compliance...assuming they mandate vaccination, which I think they very well may, especially after Pfizer goes off EUA in the next few weeks. Going to definitely be gut-check time.

Me three 20 years in on my boat. We did already loose the bonuses and 401k match though and I've got more time left to work. It's going to be tough, but if push comes to shove I'll drag up, already discussed it with the Admiral.

I think the trouble, Publius, is that many Doctors believe Trusted Authorities provide them with accurate and unbiased evidence and recommendations - and therefore do believe that the drug / treatment / Gene Therapy / Vacc(notavacc) does work and is Safe and effective and "worth the risk"

At question (at least among some here) is whether the those Trusted Authorities are in fact trustworthy. That analysis gets deep and in some cases personal, and heated, as we can see on several threads here.

Myself, I know the data is munged, fouled and at least from the perspective of having a precise understanding of the effects of this bug in our nation, unreliable. I don't know if it was done through incompetence or planning, but without a doubt in informs my outlook regarding Trusted Authority.

I don't think corporate HR departments have by and large given this as much thought as we have in our discussions here. They're more concerned with what Legal tells them, and what published guidelines from the CDC and other Trusted Authorities have proffered.

Keep trying to inform; it does seem to be making a difference in the World - folks are at least giving consideration to differing opinions.

My Wife Hospital has 54 people out with covid not sure how many Vaccinated or not they are keeping that a close secret.
Today they stopped all elective surgeries
The ED is putting people in the halls no beds available
Amazingly they have stopped all talk of mandatory vaccinations when 5 employees or employee family members all vaccinated in a cluster got covid .They have 3 people in the ICU step down with vaccine induced Guillain-Barre syndrome. Her Hospital has a 37% vaccinated rate

Just got the notice . . . we (employees) are being forced to get the jab. I've enjoyed nice gigs for 30+ years (current is 10 years); I just texted my wife, "Shit just got real".
Texted two well placed friends that I will NOT take the jab - so, keep their eyes open for opportunities.

I'm nobody special; I'm not going to be written about in history books . . . but, I will not capitulate.

Truth be told, it is a bit scary.
