Those saying CNN shouldn’t be worried about lawsuits need only watch their recent report to see … their general counsel is VERY concerned.

Can someone explain how a major news network only "finds out" about the majority of this information from the trial when alot of it was all known before hand???

They knew. It’s not about the truth.

^^^ these are more like talking points. Propaganda, designed to gin up the brainless toads.

The bottom line, he killed some commie operatives....and walked.

They really fear a repeat.
And that fear will likely result in amped up violence against the next "Rittenhouse". Many of us have watched westerns where the mom storms the sheriff's office, takes the prisoner out of jail and lynches him. Many of us have recently watched police stations being stormed by mobs in I believe Portland and/or Seattle - maybe even Minneapolis.

I think they counted on juror intimidation for a hung jury or guilty verdict, and it just did not happen. Point being, I see the left not risking another trial. I see the next Rittenhouse being drug from his cell and murdered, most likely in a blue city where the police will be told to stand down.

In the typical commie fashion, they had no contingency plans for losing.

A country divided can not stand. How can we retreat from this cliff that we are on the edge of? How can things be turned around? I fear for my country.
Trump's biggest mistake was not gutting DC's upper management like Clinton did in the 90's. Clinton set the stage for our government swinging farther and farther to the left. Bush II being a leftist, did nothing to change it. obama worsened it to nightmare proportions. Trump came in quite naive as to all of this and was repeatedly stabbed in the back.

So to answer your question, with a DeSantis, or maybe Trump's second adventure, or maybe even Noem's entry into the White House they need to clean house. Fire just about every lawyer there is in DC along with all upper management. Fill vacancies with loyalists from the various states - avoid hiring DC careerists. Give mandatory reeducation classes to all fed employees and afterwards make them reaffirm their oath to the Constitution.

Once done, set out a campaign to get term limits and eliminate lobbyists bribing elected officials. Go back to Senators being elected by the state, not by a general election. Enact legislation that makes the MSM more accountable for their outright lying. Defund PBS.

Now we all know people in Hell will get ice water before any of the above happens.

For those individuals who can't stand this country or are ashamed to be here, I suggest leaving.

The door is open, you can leave at any time. No one is holding a gun to your head, making you stay.

My suggestions on countries to move to:

Syria
Somalia
Congo
China
Russia

And my most favorite for you to go to doesn't exist any longer East Germany.

You won't even be missed, so just go already.

Unfortunately, it's not just the politicians that are the problem. It's the population that votes them in. Cleaning up DC would be a huge start, but can we turn things around before we fail?

Sorry for the thread drift. Just frustrated after reading various gov leaders and so called social leaders who are stoking the flames of division.

That creative use of language, and the fashionable "definition" of words, principles, morality & even Law - comes from propagandic indoctrination based on the false premise that every principle in the founding documents LIMITING the power of gov't, was all "white supremacy" and "racism".

None of that horseshit (sorry Dobbin) is true.

I still don't believe the commies or proggie-leftists have the actual numbers to execute a color-revolution in this country (and so they cheat in elections to prop up their delusion).

They don't even accept that a "fact" isn't the equivalent of an opinion; therefore - they are either too stupid to survive on their own or commitably insane. And that IS my opinion.

I think they would also need to move the national capitol, perhaps to Kansas or Iowa or Missouri. But get it out of the Deep Swamp of D.C. and hire bitter clinging deplorables to replace all of the bureaucrats. Maybe the capitol could even be mobile (or virtual) and change locations every few years, changing employees at the same time so nobody can get too entrenched.

Yup, major backpedaling now.

Trying to get on record as saying CNN presented both sides of the issue.

Won't work.

That happened during the Vietnam War era. Many left to go infest Canada, and later be pardoned by Jimma. Many of those that stayed infested our higher ed establishments to brainwash our kids, giving us what we have today.

Hitler, Stalin & Mao had more permanent solutions for dissidents. I don't see this happening here, but if the left keeps pushing for CWII, you can count on lamp posts in some cities to be multitasking if they get their wish.

I'm so happy I live in the middle of nowhere.

Sciguy65: The Rittenhouse verdict, the Jan6th persecutions, the IRS attack on the Tea Party, the Obama/Clinton DOJ attacking Trump, the year of riots and looting, BLM running city hall and schools...

It's all the same hill.

The facts of the case are now as irrelevant as the verdict, however, because we are a nation addicted to rage — and rage does not allow for doubt.

I keep seeing what Kyle did called vigilantism. I don't think that word means what they seem to think it means (which is the case with a lot of words they use -- apparently it doesn't bother them to look really stupid for using words incorrectly).

Kathleen
Actually, it WAS vigilantism. However, never spoken is the reality that when government abdicates their sworn role to keep the peace, it falls to the people to do. That is the essence of vigilantism. Had the police not stood back and let the riots and arson occur, Rittenhouse would never have had to assume that role. What happened to him is 100% the government’s fault. 100%.
The facts of the case are now as irrelevant as the verdict, however, because we are a nation addicted to rage — and rage does not allow for doubt.
Right there is the epitaph of this country.

There is no stepping away from the edge or turning things around. The country you knew growing up is gone and is never coming back.

We're as a nation are paying for our sins and rightfully so.

If we have any hope of surviving; surrender yourself to the Lord, pray for mercy upon our nation and that our fellow countrymen turn away from the wicked ways of the world.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Greetings from near tropical NYC!
jogging

and from what I hear he was chased down by the three self-appointed Buford T. Justice's, and only defended himself when they tried to attack HIM.

Two totally different cases.

It's BOHUNKS like this who make the South look bad.

Not self defense.

Not authorized by the owner of the home under construction they 'thought' he 'might' be burglarizing (security cams show he did not) to act in any way as "security guards" for him

Just two retired police officers who couldn't let go the thrill of the POWAH...........

I love the police--my DADDY was a peace officer--

but these kinds of IDIOTS are what make real police officers (and the South) look bad.

ENOUGH. TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT CASES.

Discuss on its own thread---this thread belongs to KYLE and the VICTORY for our rights and justice system TODAY.
I believe Kyle was exonerated because of the evidence, not because of likability. It took the jury 3 or 4 days to make what seemed to me an easy call. Even bohunks are entitled to that standard.

The case seems to revolve around whether they were making a lawful citizen's arrest. Under Georgia law at the time maybe they were; it doesn't have to be their property. They apparently believed he had committed felonies at that site.

I do want people to pay attention to that case, which is why I brought it up here, even though you apparently feel it's much different. It's also a case of shooting and killing someone that's coming at the shooter.

Unlike the deceased in the Rittenhouse case, it wasn't even Arbery's neighborhood -- granted that made him easier to identify and more likely that he would be followed.

I don't know of a brief reliable summary of the case. I got what I know from watching at 1.5 speed the first 5 hours of this:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGZw6ejM5V8
.
which is the charging conference, where the lawyers argue for what law the jury should be told to use to evaluate the evidence. The evidence has all been given, and here it's scrutinized and critical points debated.

After reading the latest on Yahoo about Rittenhouse trial there are more reasons to hate Liberals and their bias reporting. They are completely disgusting SCUM! They are reporting that Kyle should have been found guilty of the killings and this was a total break down of the Justice system and White Privilege.

You knew that was coming. When it comes to them, facts are a fast and loose thing, and if the facts are hard against them, throw the race card at everything that moves. Fortunately, they have way over used the race card and it is getting ignored more and more. Only those who's livelihood depends on it still care.
