Cardona said, “t’s critical that we do what we can to make sure that our schools stay open full-time, five days a week. I recognize there are going to be some bumps along the way, but the goal for all of us, I know educators across the country know, we don’t want to go back to how it was, fully remote. We don’t want to go back to hybrid. Our students learn best and our schools thrive when students are in-person.”

He added that, with precautions, “our default should be to have our students come back in. We recognize that there, as I said earlier, are going to be challenges with that and in some places, a short-term closure may be necessary in order to safely return students back and have adequate staffing, but we really need to learn how to thrive during this pandemic. We opened school when Delta was rampant. We have the tools, we have the resources, states and districts have access to resources.”

Cardona further stated that the “hybrid model is probably the most disruptive.

And we don’t know that we’re keeping our children any safer when they’re not in our schools. We know schools provide structure, masks are required, students get meals, they have connections with peers and with their teachers. So, in my opinion, our default model should be full-time, five days a week, in-person, recognizing that there may be times, due to [an] increase in cases, in spread, and inadequate staffing that short-term closures might be needed. But our mentality should be that our students suffered enough, we have the tools, we have the resources, they should be in the classroom.”

So, I think with this increase in Omicron and higher cases, I hope those districts really take a look at their policies. I think parents have had enough of school closures due to poor policies. So let’s protect our students, let’s protect our staff, let’s keep our communities thriving. It’s unfortunate that the numbers are going up, but we know how to continue during the pandemic. University of Florida researcher tells WND people already reporting results from Benadryl

The scientist who combined two widely available over-the-counter compounds that inhibited the novel coronavirus by 99% in early tests told WND he's hopeful his treatment will be available "within months."

"An FDA-approved treatment could be in sight within months if pharmaceutical companies utilize existing clinical trial resources," said Dr. David Ostrov in an email interview with WND.

Ostrov, an immunologist and associate professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine’s department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine, combined diphenhydramine, which is marketed as Benadryl, and lactoferrin, a protein in milk, as WND reported in December.

"My prediction is that antiviral drug combinations, such as diphenhydramine and lactoferrin, will provide a similar level of benefit as Regeneron monoclonal antibodies, Pfizer and Merck antivirals, at less than 1/100 the cost of those therapies," he told WND.

Ostrov said he knew he was facing an uphill battle in his effort to find a combination of cheap, safe and available drugs to combat COVID-19.

"I expected failure, but you never know until you try," he said. "My reaction was surprise."

His study, with early results showing 99% efficacy in inhibiting replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, was published Nov. 20 in the journal Pathogens.

Ostrov told WND he's been in communication with people who wonder if their use of the compounds has helped prevent them from getting COVID-19.

He noted that "anecdotal stories are certainly not proof of efficacy," but many people have contacted him about diphenhydramine and lactoferrin, and their results "are difficult to ignore."

"For many people, they say everyone around them got COVID, but not them," Ostrov said.

And they ask the professor if diphenhydramine and/or lactoferrin.

"Without placebo controlled clinical trials, we will not have a definitive answer," he said. "The answer for now, though, is maybe."

Ostrov mentioned a contact who takes a daily dose of Benadryl and regularly drinks milk. She said she had been in close contact for hours with someone who was hospitalized the next day for COVID-19. But after waiting five days from the time of exposure, she tested negative for COVID.

He cautioned that people "considering their own concoction should understand that our experiments were carried out with human lactoferrin, not cow." And the lactoferrin he used was purified in a special way to enhance its antiviral properties and is not likely to be found on the shelf.

People should consult with their physician, Ostrov said, before taking any drug for a use other than its intended use.

"Even though historically there are relatively few adverse events reported for diphenhydramine and lactoferrin, it should be noted that long term use of any medication, or combination of medications, could have unexpected consequences," he said.

Ostrov said he hopes that once FDA-approved, "people may benefit from this antiviral drug combination for two-to-three month intervals during each wave of COVID infections."

WND: I imagine there was elation in finding 99% effectiveness in inhibiting replication of the virus that has changed the world. Can you describe your reaction and your hopes for this possible treatment?

DR. OSTROV: We were aiming to find a combination of drugs that would work much better against SARS-CoV-2 when used together. I expected failure, but you never know until you try. My reaction was surprise.

My hope is that this antiviral drug combination will be shown to both prevent and treat COVID effectively (in placebo controlled clinical trials).

Since these drugs are stable at room temperature, economical, widely available and have long histories of safety, diphenhydramine and lactoferrin have the potential to inhibit replication of the coronavirus (and the emergence of new variants) on a global scale.

WND: Can you explain in layman's terms why these two compounds appear to be effective in inhibiting SARS-CoV-2?

DR. OSTROV: SARS-CoV-2 causes cells to undergo stress in a way that creates a good environment for the virus to replicate.

Diphenhydramine binds a specific protein involved in cell stress and blocks the virus from creating a good environment for replication.

Lactoferrin has antiviral activity for different reasons. Lactoferrin is thought to repel virus particles from target cells (by binding lipoproteins on cell surfaces). Lactoferrin is also thought to suppress virus replication.

WND: How did you come to find out that diphenhydramine was potentially effective against COVID-19?

DR. OSTROV: The story started before SARS, when my lab was studying drugs that bind ACE2, the molecule that turned out to be the receptor for SARS and SARS-CoV-2.

We previously found that an antihistamine (hydroxyzine) bound ACE2, and in 2020 were able to test the ability of this drug to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 in the lab. It was an "aha" moment when the data clearly showed that a common antihistamine inhibited the virus that causes COVID. Different scientists at the University of Florida College of Medicine used different isolates of SARS-CoV-2, and the results agreed with each other. An antihistamine can inhibit the virus!

We then realized that there may be similar drugs that could inhibit the virus, perhaps even over-the-counter drugs. But which drugs?

We collaborated with investigators and UCSF where they examined the medical records for more than 219,000 people tested for SARS-CoV-2. They found that usage of diphenhydramine was associated with a lower incidence of SARS-CoV-2. In other words, in this population, people were less likely to be infected with COVID if they used diphenhydramine.

Why would taking an allergy pill lead to lower risk of COVID? There could be many reasons, but is it possible that a simple allergy pill can directly inhibit the virus that causes COVID?

We did the experiments at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and the data was published in a peer reviewed journal. Diphenhydramine exhibits direct antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2. Diphenhydramine inhibits virus replication, inhibits virus shedding and inhibits host cell killing.

WND: Obviously, treatments for COVID-19 are needed now, but further research and human trials are necessary, which take time. Assuming the further trials affirm your early findings, how long might it be before such a treatment is available to the public?

DR. OSTROV: An FDA-approved treatment could be in sight within months if pharmaceutical companies utilize existing clinical trial resources.

WND: What is your caution to people who might try their own concoction, perhaps with Benadryl and lactoferrin? Could there be any harmful consequences?

DR. OSTROV: People considering their own concoction should understand that our experiments were carried out with human lactoferrin, not cow. The lactoferrin we used was purified in a special way to enhance its antiviral properties. People are not likely to find this on the shelf.

Could there be harmful consequences? People should consult with their physician before taking any drug "off-label," meaning using a drug for a use other than its intended use.

WND: Are there any treatments for COVID-19 available now that you have found to be effective?

DR. OSTROV: Current treatments seem to speed up recovery, but not as dramatically as we would like. We can expect that many monoclonal antibodies used for treatment will exhibit reduced effectiveness as circulating viruses acquire more mutations, such as in omicron.

Based on our understanding of the mechanism of action, mutations in the spike protein are not expected to impact the antiviral activities of diphenhydramine and lactoferrin. This is important because it means that we may be able to inhibit the virus regardless of mutations that arise in the spike protein.

The Biden administration and the mainstream media have been pushing a mandate of the experimental COVID vaccines for the American people. Their talking point is that "COVID vaccines are effective and work against the pandemic." That's not true. I have been following the "U.K. vaccine surveillance report" since last September and have seen enough evidence about the real efficacy of the COVID vaccines to show that they're not as good as advertised.

My last essay revealed that more vaccinated people have been using the health care system in U.K. than unvaccinated people. Now I am going to talk about how the MSM and politicians use so-called "rates" to hide the truth and to misrepresent the actual data to further their narratives.

Here is an example of the "unadjusted rates" chart in the U.K. Vaccine Surveillance report, Week 51.

The chart is very easy to read. It shows the rate in each category of events, "COVID-19 cases by vaccination status," "COVID-19 cases presenting to emergency care (within 28 days of a positive specimen) resulting in an overnight inpatient admission by vaccination status," and "COVID-19 deaths (a) within 28 days and (b) within 60 days of positive specimen or with COVID-19 reported on death certificate." Instead of showing actual numbers, which are the "raw data," it calculated the unadjusted rate per 100,000 people in the population, based on the vaccination status. All the rates in each category except the cases show that the vaccinated people are doing better than unvaccinated people.

On the surface, it appears that using that unadjusted rate per 100,000 people seems fair because it compares vaccinated and unvaccinated from the same base number. But that's a deception. Each individual, either vaccinated or unvaccinated, are in different health conditions and live in different environments. An individual may not be infected with COVID in one area, but he could be in the other. That's why "real efficacy rate" should be used, especially for the comparisons of hospitalizations and deaths. The real efficacy rate is calculated based on the number of actual infected people, both vaccinated and unvaccinated. This can measure how many people would be preserved from hospitalization or even death after they were infected by the virus if they had been vaccinated.

Here is an example to show why the unadjusted rate per 100,000 is deceptive if it is used for comparisons. First, let's say in a large metropolitan area the population is 1 million people. There were 10,000 people admitted into hospitals due to COVID infections. The rate would be calculated as 100 per 100,000, or 1%. The second is in a less populous area with a 10,000 population, where 200 people were hospitalized. That is translated to a rate of 2,000 per 100,000, or 2%. So, by comparing those two rates, one would agree that the first rate is two times better than the second, blinded by the fact that 9,800 more people were in the hospitals in the first area!

Next, let's take a look at the summary I created based on the U.K. vaccine surveillance report series. I added two highlighted columns to show what the real efficacy rate of the COVID vaccines are, along with the rates for the unvaccinated. Actually, they look great at first glance!

The real efficacy rate for hospitalization by vaccination status is calculated by the hospital admission number divided by the infection case number. For the Week 51 report, that's 1 - (4,027/268,654) = 0.98501, or 98.501%. That means that the COVID vaccines prevented more than 98 people being hospitalized out of 100 who were infected. The same can be said for the death rate, where only 1 person dies out of 100 people who were infected.

From the chart, we can also see that the unvaccinated were doing better, 99.152% and 99.796%, respectively, for Week 51, when omicron started to be dominant in the U.K. The same is true for Week 47 and Week 45, when the delta variant was dominant.

How can the unvaccinated do better than the vaccinated? In order to show the greatness of the COVID vaccines, they used the unadjusted rate per 100,000 people. There is a footnote under the above chart in the Week 51 report and every other report: "Comparing case rates among vaccinated and unvaccinated populations should not be used to estimate vaccine effectiveness against COVID-19 infection." That is to say that "we deceived, so don't use those rates."

But I and most people are more concerned about the real effectiveness of those COVID vaccines in combatting the COVID pandemic, not artificial rates created for propaganda. By the way, many research reports have pointed out that the efficacy rate of the COVID vaccines is quickly reduced after being administered, even dropping to negative numbers in three months after getting the third shot!

It's therefore time to stop the vaccination mandate and all the nonsense about a "pandemic of the unvaccinated."

Many advisers reported a stream of hate via Twitter and email, with messages such as “I hope your family die”, “I hope cunts like you are ****ing held accountable”, “you will pay for killing our children with vaccines” and “**** off back to where you came from”. The mainstream media sometimes fuelled the activity by emphasising worst-case scenarios, some respondents said, or legitimised abuse from social media trolls by launching their own attacks on advisers.

The survey found no clear evidence that women received more abuse than men, but some were less willing to describe their experiences. Numerous male counterparts expressed dismay at the intensity and nature of the abuse directed at women they knew. “There seems to be a huge gender imbalance with women being targeted so much more than men,” one said.

Despite the torrent of abuse, several advisers emphasised that they also received praise, thanks and support from members of the public, which counterbalanced the vitriol. “It has vaccinated me against much of the hate,” one said.

George Freeman, the science minister, called the abuse “appalling”. He said: “All of us who value our freedom and democracy need to call this out … Scientists and doctors should not be held responsible for decisions taken in good faith by ministers accountable to parliament.”

Chi Onwurah, the shadow science minister, said the attacks were “wholly unacceptable” and the government’s much-delayed online safety bill was desperately needed to counter misinformation.

While many advisers praised the Cabinet Office and the Sage secretariat for setting up “extensive support mechanisms”, some felt they would have benefited from a warning and security advice before signing up.

The attention has led some scientists to keep their heads down, refuse interviews, and consider withdrawing from the public discussion. But most said the abuse had little effect or even emboldened them. “If anything, it motivated me to engage further,” one adviser said. “Clearly my voice was being heard and having an impact.”

Another said: “If we stop speaking up, and stop providing advice, something else will fill the void and it will be misinformation, false narratives and so on. Do we acquiesce and allow them to take over and risk people’s lives?”

Oklahoma National Guard says unvaccinated airmen can't participate in drills

The Oklahoma National Guard said unvaccinated airmen cannot participate in drills, days after a federal judge turned down the state's bid to block the Pentagon's vaccine mandate for National Guard members.

Brig. Gen. Thomas Mancino, commander of the state's National Guard, acknowledged Tuesday's court ruling in a message to the force, though he said the ruling doesn't mean the legal fight is over.

Mancino also noted that the Department of Defense has said it will recoup pay provided to unvaccinated airmen who drill after Jan. 1, which can be enforced outside of the state's control.

"With no possibility of injunctive relief before January 1st, 2022, I have decided to not allow unvaccinated Oklahoma Air National Guard Drill Status Guardsmen (DSGs), without a medical exemption or religious accommodation request, to participate in any future drill period, except for any Airmen wishing to be vaccinated," Mancino wrote.

The Air Force recently extended the deadline for Air National Guard members to be vaccinated from Dec. 2 to Dec. 31. The Army gave its National Guard members until June 30, 2022, to come into compliance.

In a ruling on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Stephen Friot denied a motion from Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) and Attorney General John O'Connor to block the vaccine mandate, finding that their claims were without merit.

The ruling came amid a battle between Stitt and the Pentagon, which began after the governor asked Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to exempt his state's Guard from the military's vaccine mandate.

Shortly after the request, which was later denied, Mancino issued a memo stipulating that no member of the Oklahoma National Guard was required to be vaccinated.

But in a statement issued on Dec. 9, Mancino seemingly acknowledged that the state couldn't evade the mandate when troops are called up for drills or further school.

"I continue to encourage everyone to get vaccinated, if you choose, and will continue to facilitate that option for any Airmen who wish to take it," Mancino wrote in his latest message.

fizer has hired the former policy director for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Hazen Marshall, as a lobbyist to support the Big Pharma firm’s efforts to shut down amendments to the False Claims Amendments Act of 2021. The lobbying contract covers opposition to whistleblower protections and affirming Pfizer’s patents on the COVID-19 vaccine, The National Pulse can reveal.

Lobbyist filings reveal Pfizer recently retained the D.C.-based Marshall & Popp to fight amendments to a law that currently does little to protect the public against fraud by firms like Pfizer. The lobbying firm, which raked in over $3,000,000 in 2021, was founded by former Mitch McConnell staffer Hazen Marshall and former Chief of Staff to Republican Senate Whip John Cornyn, Monica Popp.

The corporate-establishment Republicans also appear to represent the interests of Alphabet (Google), Altria (Philip Morris Tobacco), and a slew of other pharmaceutical clients alongside Pfizer in Washington.

Marshall & Popp was founded in 2019, and was temporarily prohibited from lobbying in the U.S. Senate per the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act (2007), as noted by POLITICO.

In the official filing, Marshall and his team were recruited to lobby against the aforementioned bill, as well as issues related to waiving intellectual property protections for COVID-19 vaccines. Waiving protections on the COVID-19 vaccination patent would force Pfizer to give up their essential wealth funnel from the federal government.

Pfizer and Fraud.
Should the whistleblower-related amendments pass, it would make it easier to hold companies accountable for corporate fraud. The bill itself has been in existence since the Civil War, and as The National Law Review has noted:

Like many other pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer has paid hefty fines for violations of the False Claims Act. In 2009, Pfizer “agreed to pay $2.3 billion, the largest health care fraud settlement in the history of the Department of Justice, to resolve criminal and civil liability arising from the illegal promotion of certain pharmaceutical products,” according to the DOJ. This record settlement stemmed from a lawsuit brought against Pfizer by six whistleblowers.

Pfizer was allegedly aware that their drug, Bextra, was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for anything other than arthritis and menstrual cramps. Regardless, the firm chose to push the drug for acute and surgical pain.

Six whistleblowers brought the lawsuit against Pfizer via the False Claims Act, culminating in the enormous fraud settlement.

In 2016, the Supreme Court ruled that fraud lawsuits could be dismissed if the government was continuing to pay a contractor after the allegations were revealed. The 2016 ruling bodes well for Pfizer, as hidden camera footage of a Pfizer scientist showed that the company “basically… is run on COVID money now.”

In 2020, Pfizer entered into a $1.95 billion agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Defense to produce 100 million doses of the notorious COVID-19 vaccine.

The proposed amendments in the False Claims Amendments Act of 2021 would strengthen the protection of whistleblowers, including aspects related to anti-retaliation and blacklisting of whistleblowers seeking industry employment.

Marshall & Popp was hired shortly before a damning report was filed with The BMJ with regards to Pfizer’s data integrity issues. The whistleblower report notes poor laboratory management, worries over FDA inspections, lack of follow-up with patients experiencing adverse events, lack of protocol reports over deviations, as well as mislabeling of laboratory specimens.

As the government continues to pay Pfizer despite past activities, the fraud at their testing labs may not be considered “material” under the 2016 ruling. The amendments proposed in the 2021 Act would change the evidentiary standards for proving materiality to a preponderance of evidence. Therefore, the burden of proving whistleblower claims would fall on the shoulders of companies like Pfizer.

At present, Pfizer has more than 80 lobbyists on their books, totaling more than $7,000,000 in expenditures in 2021. Marshall’s firm received $100,000 to work with the pharma giant. To-date, the False Claims Amendment Act of 2021 has not passed. Protections on the COVID-19 patent are still in place.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview that the White House wants to cause class warfare between vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans so that they can create chaos and hold onto power, but that it’s “not going to work.”

“I don’t think that that’s an American thing. I don’t think everyday Americans are seeing two sets of people,” told Breitbart News last week at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona.

“I don’t think we see a vaccinated and an unvaccinated population amongst us, but I think that the leadership out of the White House is certainly trying to divide us,” the congresswoman added. “And I think that that’s part of their plan, when you divide, you are able to cause chaos and strife, and that leads to control.”

“And that’s what this whole administration is about: dependency and control,” Cammack said. “The want us to start pointing fingers and placing blame.”

The congresswoman was responding to a question from Breitbart News about the stern and ominous warning President Joe Biden had sent out to Americans ahead of Christmas, in which he separated Americans into two categories: the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.

On December 17, the White House said in a press release:

We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this.

For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.

“But I think people are waking up,” Cammack continued. “The ‘woke’ agenda in America has woken up every single American to the ludicrousness of what the liberal agenda is.”

“And so this class warfare of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated, it’s nobody’s damn business, and it’s certainly not the government’s business, no matter how much they try,” the congresswoman added.

“They’re going to try to use that as a wedge to push people into class warfare, and to divide neighborhoods and communities,” she said. “That’s not going to work, because we’re not going to do it, and we’re going to see right through it.
We already are.”

“And they’re going to do more like this — these tactics — to make sure that they hold onto that House and the Senate and the White House, but it’s not going to work,” Cammack affirmed.

California is facing a massive surge in coronavirus cases, despite adopting strict policies like mask and vaccine mandates, as the omicron variant continues to spread.

San Diego County, for example, reported the highest single-day case count in the pandemic thus far, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune:

San Diego County reported a total of 5,976 new coronavirus cases Thursday, setting a new single-day record, according to county records.

The previous single-day record was set on Jan. 7, when the county health department reported 4,550 new cases.

Besting the previous record by nearly 1,500 cases on the eve of New Year’s Eve clearly unsettled those in charge of protecting the public health.

Dr. Cameron Kaiser, San Diego’s deputy public health officer, said in a statement released Thursday afternoon to tamp down plans for ringing in the new year.

Los Angeles County reported more than 20,000 new cases on Thursday, nearly the highest single-day total of the pandemic, according to the Los Angeles Times:

The long-feared winter coronavirus wave reached new heights Thursday as Los Angeles County reported more than 20,000 new cases, fueled in part by the highly transmissible Omicron variant that is washing over the region.

Overall, California’s reported average daily coronavirus caseload has more than quadrupled in the last two weeks — an astonishing rise that has pushed infection levels significantly higher than at any point during the summer surge.

“We are, in fact, experiencing the worst of a surge at the moment with the rising number of cases,” L.A. County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer told reporters.

Thursday’s total in L.A. County, 20,198, is one of the highest in the pandemic.

Over the last two days, the nation’s most populous county has announced nearly 37,000 new cases.

And the San Jose Mercury News reported that California is experiencing the fastest rate of spread in the pandemic, with even highly-vaccinated areas like Contra Costa County experiencing a 76% rise in the past two weeks.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom led the nation’s Democrat-run state in imposing vaccine mandates on public employees and health care workers, and he re-imposed a statewide mask mandate earlier this month, with the exception of the San Francisco Bay Area, due to its high level of vaccination.

South Africa, the country that first identified the omicron variant, reported this week that its wave had passed rather quickly, with low levels of hospitalizations.

Though the country had adopted tight restrictions, enforced by the military, early in the pandemic, it did not do so during the omicron wave due to the relatively mild symptoms experienced by most of the infected.

South African public health officials announced Thursday that they believe the surge in Chinese coronavirus cases fueled by the omicron variant in the country is ending, leaving a record of lower hospitalizations and severe cases than previous waves.

South Africa was the first country to alert the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) to the discovery of a new Chinese coronavirus variant in late November. The decision to notify global health authorities resulted in Western countries, including the United States, imposing a travel ban on South African citizens and others in neighboring countries.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who tested positive for coronavirus during the current wave of the outbreak, loudly protested the travel bans as unscientific and bigoted, particularly given that several European countries, including the Netherlands, revealed after the W.H.O. confirmed the existence of omicron that they had evidence of the variant circulating on the continent prior to its discovery in Africa. The European countries banning African travelers did not modify the restrictions to include fellow European countries following those revelations.

Ramaphosa notably boycotted the U.S. State Department’s “Summit for Democracy” this month to protest President Joe Biden’s travel ban against Africans. Biden lifted the ban with little fanfare last week.

South African doctors treating omicron patients consistently told reporters around the world that their patients did not appear to be suffering from severe symptoms on a large scale and South African government officials eschewed the aggressive lockdowns they had implemented during initial local outbreaks of coronavirus.

“All indicators suggest the country may have passed the peak of the fourth wave at a national level,” the South African government said in a statement following a special cabinet meeting Thursday, according to the Guardian. The statement emphasized, “While the Omicron variant is highly transmissible, there has been lower rates of hospitalization than in previous waves.”

Health officials in the country supported their conclusion with the fact that they had documented a nearly 30-percent drop in documented cases between the week ending on December 25 and the week before, a decrease representing nearly 38,000 cases. South Africa’s National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) followed up the good news with a report on Friday revealing it had found that, even among those hospitalized, coronavirus patients infected with the omicron variant were about 73 percent less likely to be treated for a severe case compared to those infected with the delta variant, the currently dominant variant around the world originating in India. This result is consistent with a study the same institution published two weeks ago concluding that coronavirus patients are “80 percent less likely to be hospitalized if they catch the omicron variant, compared with other strains,” Bloomberg reported at the time.

“Compared to delta infections in South Africa between April and November, omicron infections are associated with a 70 percent lower risk of severe disease,” NICD said at the time. “Early analyses suggest a reduced risk of hospitalisation among SGTF [omicron]-infected individuals when compared to non-SGTF [omicron] infected individuals in the same time period.”

Cases also appeared to be less severe less often with omicron patients, NICD said this week, when compared to those infected with the beta variant, a mutation that originated in South Africa and caused a significant spike in cases there but did not go on to dominate global cases. Scientists now believe the beta variant may have caused more severe disease than the original virus that originated in Wuhan, China, known as “alpha.”

The South African cabinet concluded that the data would allow them to remove a currently existing curfew and several other restrictions in place since March 2020, lowering the coronavirus threat level to its lowest setting. The remaining restrictions ban indoor gatherings of more than 1,000 people and outdoor gatherings of 2,000 people.

South Africa had already not increased restrictions in response to the discovery of omicron, which allowed Christians in the country to celebrate what international outlets described as a relatively normal Christmas.

“In Johannesburg, thousands … have turned out to enjoy the light displays that have filled the upmarket Melrose Arch shopping precinct with flashing reindeer, glittering giant teddy bears and glowing Christmas trees,” Reuters observed last week. Night clubs and other recreational locations attracted large crowds.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) shortened its recommended quarantine period from ten days to five days this week. More than five days after Christmas Eve, South African officials still documented a decline in reported cases, suggesting the Christmas revelry did not have a negative effect on the country’s pandemic response.

More than 170 Republican Congressional leaders on Thursday submitted an amicus brief to the Supreme Court arguing that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has no authority to impose a nationwide vaccine mandate on businesses with 100-plus employees.

“Congressional members have an interest in the powers they delegate to agencies not being abused—the legislative authority vested in the federal government belongs to Congress, not the Executive branch,” the members contended. “In this case, the promulgation by [OSHA] of a sweeping, nationwide vaccine mandate on businesses intrudes into an area of legislative concern far beyond the authority of the agency.”

Reps. Rick W. Allen (R-GA), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Jim Banks (R-IN), and Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) led over 130 representatives and over 40 senators in filing the brief to the Supreme Court in the case set to be heard on January 7 considering the Biden Administration’s OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS).

In a statement to Breitbart News, Stefanik said the “unconstitutional vaccine mandate imposes government control into the private, medical lives of millions of American citizens.”

“This mandate hurts our nation’s workers, employers, and small businesses and will now rightfully be challenged in the highest court in the land. I am proud to lead my colleagues in standing up for the rule of law against the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate on private workplaces,” the congresswoman said.

In mid-December, the Sixth Circuit dissolved a stay of Biden’s vaccine mandate issued by the Fifth Circuit in November. Though the Sixth Circuit has a conservative judge majority 9-7, a three-judge panel, including a President Barack Obama appointee and a President George W. Bush appointee with a reputation as a liberal-leaning moderate, voted 2-1, with a President Donald Trump appointee penning the dissent.

In response to the federal appeals court decision, numerous business groups, organizations, and even 27 states filed emergency requests asking the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve the split between federal appeals courts on the legality of President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100-plus employees. The applicants are asking the justices for a stay while litigation is ongoing, challenging Biden’s coronavirus vaccine mandate. The 27 states and several other applicants additionally requested for their filings to be considered a petition for writ of certiorari, meaning they asked asking the Supreme Court to take up the case this term.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh considered the request and asked the federal government to respond to each of the applications by December 30 at 4:00 p.m., signaling that the Court would be moving forward with the case.

Obama appointee Judge Jane Stranch said she decided to dissolve the stay because she thinks the mandate is necessary to stop the transmission of the virus. She did not comment on the fact that vaccinated people, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are also able to transmit the virus.

“Recognizing that the ‘old normal’ is not going to return, employers and employees have sought new models for a workplace that will protect the safety and health of employees who earn their living there,” she wrote. “In need of guidance on how to protect their employees from COVID-19 transmission while reopening business, employers turned to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.”

In their amicus brief to the Supreme Court, GOP lawmakers argued against Stranch’s point, noting that “mandatory vaccinations do not stop individuals from contracting and transmitting COVID-19.”

The brief continues:

Vaccinated workers can still contract and transmit COVID-19, including the new Omicron variant. Given that fact, imposing masking and testing restrictions only on unvaccinated workers makes no sense because all workers regardless of vaccination status remain potential carriers and transmitters of the virus. If the Rule does not cure the supposed grave danger in the workplace, it cannot be necessary under the statute. Thus the ETS Mandate cannot rise to the level of “necessary” required by the text of the OSH Act

GOP lawmakers also rebutted Judge Julia Gibbons’ concurring opinion that OSHA had “likely” acted “within the bound of its statutory authority.” Instead, congressional members contend the legislative branch did not provide OSHA with the authority the agency is claiming to enact such a broad sweeping mandate.

“The separation of powers has long been known to be a defense against tyranny. And so it “remains a basic principle of our constitutional scheme that one branch of the Government may not intrude upon the central prerogatives of another,”’ the brief states. “Those safeguards are just as relevant today.”

Out of Biden’s five federal coronavirus vaccine mandates, the mandate for businesses with 100-plus employees is the largest and impacts 84 million workers. Biden’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mandate for healthcare workers covers approximately 10.4 million people with an additional 2.7 million individuals who will be covered once hired. The Supreme Court will also hear arguments regarding Biden’s CMS mandate on January 7.

The applications are NFIB v. OSHA, No. 21A244, and Ohio v. Dep’t of Labor, No. 21A247 in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ohio gubernatorial candidate and former Rep. Jim Renacci (R-OH) slammed Ohio governor Mike DeWine (R) and health officials in the state over their new push to make all Ohio children wear masks in schools, calling the practice “child abuse.”

“Let’s be honest — masking our kids in schools for eight hours a day is child abuse,” Renacci said.

“Kids need to breathe properly, interact with others and to be heard,” the former congressman continued. “The long-term educational and psychological ramifications of these reckless policies are abhorrent.”



Renacci added, “I immediately call on Mike DeWine to condemn the child abuse being pushed by state health leaders.”

“My running mate, Joe Knopp, along with countless other parents, have already seen first hand what these policies do to our kids,” the Ohio gubernatorial candidate affirmed. “I stand with Ohio’s parents and say no more!”

Renacci’s comments were in response to the Ohio Hospital Association, which released a statement on Wednesday encouraging more Ohio school boards to establish in-school mask mandates — a call that has also been echoed by Gov. Dewine.

“With Omicron spreading quickly through Ohio, we need everyone’s help to make it through the coming weeks. Please help us by requiring students to wear masks when they return to school,” the Ohio Hospital Association said in a press release.

Renacci told Breitbart News on Thursday that “people are sick and tired” of the mask mandates, and that “they are sick and tired of a governor that won’t stand up and defend them.”

“The parents are saying [the masks] are uncomfortable, [the students] don’t keep them on, they’re touching them all the time,” Renacci told Breitbart News, adding that masks “really take away from the social atmosphere” in schools.

“Parents want their children to have the ability to have a normal day in school,” the gubernatorial candidate added. “They want a governor t0 stand up and do what’s right for the parents.”

Chinese dictator Xi Jinping celebrated China’s coronavirus response during a New Year’s address on Friday, omitting that Communist Party failures have resulted in the country currently experiencing its worst outbreak since the pandemic began.

The Chinese coronavirus originated in central Wuhan, China, in late 2019 – a fact the Chinese Foreign Ministry has repeatedly denied, floating instead an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that the virus originated in Maryland. A year ago, the Communist Party enthusiastically shared images of large crowds celebrating the New Year in Wuhan in tightly packed spaces, a sign of triumph over the pandemic. International corporate media covered the celebrations but largely failed to follow up with the nationwide outbreak of coronavirus cases that followed two weeks later.

Similarly, the Chinese Communist Party promoted nationwide “red tourism” in October to celebrate the anniversary of the Party’s founding, resulting in a tour group from Shanghai spreading Chinese coronavirus throughout much of northern China. The outbreak rapidly spread to at least ten provinces. While Chinese authorities have not confirmed that the two are related, the Inner Mongolia outbreak preceded a larger one in Xi’an, the capital of northern Shaanxi province, that prompted authorities to lock down the city of 13 million on the day before Christmas Eve. Xi’an is home to one of the most important artifacts in ancient Christianity, the Nestorian Stele, which provides evidence of Christianity existing in China as early as the year 635.

As of this week, terrified Xi’an residents have begun using social media to complain that authorities will not let them leave their homes for food, leaving them to starve without sufficient supplies.

“This is getting more and more ridiculous. I never thought in my lifetime I would be unable to sleep because of not having food to eat,” a comment on Weibo, China’s government-run social media outlet, from a Xi’an resident read this week.

Xi, who has played no public role in responding to the outbreaks (and no evidence suggests he has worked in any way to contain them), omitted any mention of the grim atmosphere in the country in his New Year’s Eve address. Xi claimed that China spent 2021 “making confident strides on the path toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” and painted a portrait of a joyful, disease-free year. Xi also notably claimed that the world was celebrating China, the origin country of the pandemic, for its pandemic response.

“In my phone calls and virtual meetings with foreign leaders and heads of international organizations, I have heard many times plaudits for China’s fight against [Chinese coronavirus] and contribution to the global [Chinese coronavirus] response,” Xi said in the televised statement. “To date, China has provided two billion doses of [Chinese coronavirus] vaccines to more than 120 countries and international organizations.

“Only through unity, solidarity and cooperation can countries around the world write a new chapter in building a community with a shared future for mankind,” Xi asserted.

Elsewhere in the speech, Xi applauded Chinese citizens for their “unity” in accepting China’s draconian coronavirus measures.

He lauded “…[T]he whole nation staying united in solid [Chinese coronavirus] response,” along with other purported achievements, which he said marked 2021 as a year of “many memorable Chinese voices, Chinese moments and Chinese stories.”

Xi spent more time during his speech celebrating Chinese astronauts (“taikonauts”) and the anniversary of the Communist Party than addressing the pandemic within China.

“On July 1, we solemnly celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC),” Xi recalled. “Standing on the Tian’anmen Rostrum, one could only marvel at the extraordinary journey traveled by this major Party, a journey of Chinese Communists leading the Chinese people, in their hundreds of millions, in an unyielding struggle against all obstacles and challenges, and scoring spectacular, epoch-making achievements over the past century.”

Xi also mentioned his ongoing campaigns to subjugate the formerly autonomous region of Hong Kong and the sovereign state of Taiwan.

“The complete reunification of our motherland is an aspiration shared by people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait,” Xi said. “I sincerely hope that all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation will join forces to create a brighter future for our nation.”

Xi’s tone towards Taiwan was significantly more conciliatory than his threats two years ago, when he vowed in a speech, “Anyone who attempts to split any region from China will perish, with their bodies smashed and bones ground to powder.”

The state news agency Xinhua celebrated Xi’s poor leadership on the pandemic on Friday as “lighting the way forward” for the rest of the world.

The second booster will be available to those with weakened immune systems. An Israeli hospital administered fourth shots of the Pfizer vaccine to a test group of health workers on Monday, but has yet to decide on whether or not to approve it for the general population.

Nachman Ash, the Israeli Health Ministry’s director-general, did not announce a timeline for a second booster to be approved for wider use. “In light of the existing gaps in knowledge in the world about the effectiveness of a fourth dose, in the present situation, we are acting cautiously and responsibly,” Ash said.

“If we see signs showing severe illness is expected to rise among the older populations then we will make that decision,” Ash added. “The challenge is to make it early enough to vaccinate them in time.”

Omicron vs Vaccines and Natural Immunity Based on some recent studies, it looks like Omicron has difficulty getting past our body's T-cells. In test-tube studies, researchers in South Africa exposed copies of the virus to T cells taken from people who received either the Pfizer Vaccine or the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or those who had not been vaccinated but had developed immunity from a previous covid infection. This study concluded that T-cell immunity to Omicron from either natural immunity from the previous infection or from vaccines is well-preserved.

Based on a study published in the NEJM, 2 shots of the Pfizer vaccine prevent most people from being hospitalized with the Omicron variant of COVID. The data shows that the effectiveness of two-doses against Omicron did slightly drop compared to delta but overall remains effective about 70% effective at preventing covid hospitalizations.

Yes, Omicron has been found in several studies to cause many more infections in vaccinated and boosted and of course, those who are unvaccinated as well. In South Africa, most of the hospitalizations occurred among the unvaccinated. The rates of Covid hospitalization during the Omicron timeframe were lower than the delta timeframe. Hospitalization rates were anywhere from 2-to-6 times lower during the Omicron period, depending on age.

Why is this the case? There are 2 main factors at play. One is that there are higher vaccination rates during the omicron timeframe. Two, the lower average age of those becoming infected during the omicron timeframe means young adults make up a higher percentage of hospitalizations than before. So these two factors are known as confounding variables which muddies the water when trying to figure out if Omicron is truly a milder infection than delta.

So is the Omicron variant itself less dangerous than delta? Even as we enter 2022, that is unclear.

At a time when the world is grappling with Delta and Omicron variants, and the combination of both called ‘Delmicron’ variant of coronavirus, Israel has reported its first case of 'flurona'— a simultaneous coronavirus and flu infection.

The first 'flurona' virus was found in a woman who recently gave birth in a hospital in Petah Tikva city, in central Israel, Ynet news portal reported on Thursday.


According to reports, the young woman was unvaccinated and results from the hospital detected the co-presence of both the flu and the COVID-19 pathogens.

The woman has presented with relatively mild symptoms of the disease and will be discharged soon.

The Israeli Health Ministry is presently examining the case, having yet to determine whether the two viruses combined may cause more severe illness.

On Thursday, the health authorities reported more than 4,000 new cases, a high not seen since September.

Anticipating more cases, the country authorised a fourth vaccine shot as a booster dose for people with weakened immune systems to help confront rising Covid cases.

Booster shots have been administered to 4.2 million people out of a population of 9.4m Israelis.

Till Tuesday, 1,741 Omicron cases have been detected in Israel, of which 1,004 of the carriers recently returned from abroad.

Research grant number R01AI098775 “RBD recombinant protein-based SARS vaccine for biodefense” amounting to over $1 million per year was awarded by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) to Professor Peter Hotez of Baylor College of Medicine as the Project Leader.

One of the two other Principal Investigators on the project is Shibo Jiang, who lists two affiliations related to grant R01AI098775:

• Laboratory of Viral Immunology, Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute, New York Blood Center, New York, NY, USA
• Key Laboratory of Medical Molecular Virology of Ministries of Education and Health, Shanghai Medical College and Institute of Medical Microbiology, Fudan University, Shanghai, China

Shibo Jiang’s connections with China’s People’s Liberation Army have been exhaustively detailed in Gateway Pundit articles, here, here and here.

Briefly, Shibo Jiang obtained his MS and MD degrees from the People’s Liberation Army’s First Military Medical University and the Fourth Military Medical University, respectively.

During his over 20 years working in the United States, Shibo Jiang developed an extensive network of collaborative research with other U.S. virus research laboratories and received more than $17 million in U.S. research grants, the vast majority coming from Fauci’s NIAID.

During that entire period, Shibo Jiang actively collaborated with People’s Liberation Army laboratories, while simultaneously inviting into his U.S. laboratory and training scientists linked to the Chinese military.

Yusen Zhou, from the People’s Liberation Army’s State Key Laboratory of Pathogen and Biosecurity in Beijing, was Shibo Jiang’s long-time research collaborator and Shibo Jiang’s key link to the People’s Liberation Army’s research on coronaviruses.

With Shibo Jiang as the conduit, Fauci’s R01AI098775 grant funneled U.S. taxpayer money to support the research of multiple Chinese scientists with connections to the People’s Liberation Army.

Two of the publications arising from grant number R01AI098775 are worth noting, both dealing with coronaviruses and, strangely, in neither of which the Project Leader Peter Hotez participated.

That is, both studies were entirely designed and conducted by Chinese scientists.

1. Wanbo Tai, Guangyu Zhao, Shihun Sun, Yan Guo, Yufei Wang, Xinrong Tao, Chien-Te K Tseng, Fang Li, Shibo Jiang, Lanying Du, Yusen Zhou. In article #1, seven of the eleven authors (Wanbo Tai, Guangyu Zhao, Shihun Sun, Yan Guo, Yufei Wang, Lanying Du, Yusen Zhou) have connections to the Academy of Military Medical Sciences in Beijing. Lanying Du, the wife of Yusen Zhou, was recruited by and worked with Shibo Jiang at the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute in New York.

In article #2, Wanbo Tai hides his affiliation with the Academy of Military Medical Sciences in Beijing. The last author is Zheng-Li Shi, the “Bat Woman” from the Wuhan Institute of Virology offering a link between the authors and the origin of COVID-19.

Billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars have been flowing from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases through U.S. research centers in order to directly support laboratories of China’s People’s Liberation Army.

Canadian COVID Care Alliance is consists of over 500 independent Canadian doctors, scientists, and health care practitioners who are committed to providing quality, balanced, evidence-based information to the Canadian public about COVID-19 so that hospitalizations can be reduced, lives saved, and our country safely restored to normal as quickly as possible.

According to its website, the Pfizer 6 month data shows that Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines cause more illness than they prevent. Also, an overview of the Pfizer trial flaws in both design and execution.

Now, let’s talk first about the 12 to 15-year-old adolescent trial. According to page 24 of their in-depth analysis, the vaccination for adolescents is really all risk and no benefit. Adolescence are at statistically zero risk of death from COVID-19 and very low risk of severe illness. Among the vaccinated kids in the trial, there’s at least one serious adverse event.

For the adolescents, inoculation is really all risk and no benefit. The trial was severely underpowered. As a study, this small will not reliably show up risk for adverse events. There was an inoculated group of 1,005 and zero of them tested positive for COVID-19 and a placebo group of 978, and 18 of them tested positive for COVID-19.

So Pfizer claimed these were great results, but since adolescence are at statistically zero risk of death from COVID-19 and very low risk of severe illness. In fact, the New York Times said in October of this year that for children without a serious medical condition, the danger of severe COVID is so low that it’s difficult to quantify.

The inoculation is of very little benefit to them, but it does present a very real risk of adverse events. However, the adolescent Pfizer study wasn’t actually designed to find adverse events because a serious adverse event, including death that occurred even in 1 out of 800 kids might not even show up in a sample size of 1,005 people. But in this case, the danger signal did come through. Among the inoculated adolescents, there was at least one serious adverse event, and her name was Maddie De Garay.

Maddie de Garay is a 12-year-old trial participant who developed a serious reaction after her second dose of the inoculation and was hospitalized within 24 hours. She developed gastroparesis, nausea, vomiting, erratic blood pressure, memory loss, brain fog, headaches, dizziness, fainting seizures, verbal and motor ticks, menstrual cycle issues, lost feeling from the waist down, lost bowel and bladder control, and she had to have a feeding tube because she lost her ability to eat.

She’s been hospitalized many times since then, and for the past 10 months she’s been wheelchair-bound and fed via a tube. In their report to the FDA, Pfizer described her injuries as functional abdominal pain, and there’s a link to the FDA report (page 30). This is unconscionable and certainly opens up the possibility that other adverse events have been suppressed or misrepresented.

In terms of the 5 to 11-year-old Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination trial, the Canadian COVID Care Alliance said the vaccination is an unacceptable risk to their health. Even Pfizer acknowledges the vaccine will cause myocarditis in children.

In terms of 5 to 11-year-olds, the inoculation is an unacceptable risk to their health. In this table, Pfizer using predictive modeling, acknowledges that the inoculations will cause myocarditis in children.

See the columns in red, but they optimistically claim that there will be zero deaths from this myocarditis. See the column in yellow, it’s speculation on their part, the low-level evidence of a predictive model.

But let’s just say it’s true and there will be no deaths. There’s still no justification for giving children myocarditis. First do no harm should apply here. But the government has now normalized the expectation of heart problems from these inoculations among children to the point that sick kids are actually putting out brochures on how to deal with them.

The way to deal with them is don’t give them products that will harm their hearts because myocarditis is actually very serious. It’s damaged to the heart, and it’s not reversible.

So while Pfizer may be correct in that their inoculations might not cause any immediate deaths, we maintain that a one in five chance of dying in six and a half years is unequivocally, an unacceptable risk for children.

But the FDA says it is an acceptable risk for children. They have actually abandoned the first do no harm principle. Remember, medical interventions are supposed to be proven safe before they’re rolled out in the population. Yet Dr. Eric Rubin, one of the 18 members of the FDA advisory panel who voted to approve the inoculations for children from five to eleven, actually said the opposite and suggested that a population level rollout was an appropriate way to test for adverse events.

A German news site actually put together a list of over 75 known cases of athletes collapsing and even dying in the last five months. These incidents are supposed to be rare and we can’t ignore that they no longer are.

Remember when the whole world went into panic mode and shut down over a few fake videos of Chinese people collapsing, but crickets over dozens and dozens of real instances of people most specifically athletes collapsing.

Pfizer also admits in their report that their studies weren’t powered to find rare side effects because their long-term immune response efficacy and safety data is limited.

And that’s true, as the inoculation was only tested on about 1500 kids, how many parents know that? How many would take their kids to get this shot if they were informed of this? The law of informed consent says that they should be, but it’s not happening.

The British Medical Journal, one of the oldest and most respected medical journals in the world, has actually called Pfizer out for serious issues in the execution of their trials. On November 2, 2021, they released an article about their investigation into Ventavia, which was one of the research companies that Pfizer hired to conduct the trials.

The Whistleblower is a regional director who actually reported her company to the FDA for falsifying data for unblinding participants, for not following up and testing participants who reported symptoms and for mislabeling specimens.

Several other employees backed up her account. Despite all this, neither Pfizer nor the FDA ever audited or investigated the research company. Pfizer never disclosed the problems in its emergency use authorization application, and in fact, Fisr has now hired that same researcher, Ventavia, to run four more COVID-19 trials. So all this to say that it’s not surprising that we’re seeing the issues that we are in the six-month trial report and also in the six-month report, Pfizer actually manipulated their efficacy data.

They took the results from their adult trial, which started in July of 2020, and then they mixed in the results from the twelve to 15-year-old trial, despite the fact that the adolescent trial actually started four months later. So since it’s well known that the efficacy of the inoculations wanes over time, this gave a false boost to the efficacy numbers. The efficacy of those two cohorts should have been reported separately, not presented as one combined result, but without that boost, their efficacy number likely would have fallen.

The New York State Department of Health this week published a memo warning they don’t have enough Paxlovid or Monoclonal Antibody Treatment so white people will be put at the back of the line.

The NYSDOH said Paxlovid and Molnupiravir are in “limited supply will require providers to prioritize treatment for patients at highest risk for severe COVID-19 until more product becomes available.”

The department said it will be prioritize people who have certain risk factors for severe disease.

One of the risk factors?

Race.
“Non-white race or Hispanic/Latino ethnicity should be considered a risk factor, as longstanding systemic health and social inequities have contributed to an increased risk of severe illness and death from Covid-19,” the NYSDOH said.

The Biden regime struck a deal with a German Company to build a factory in Wisconsin to produce COVID test strips. The plant will not be up and running until 2024 at the earliest.

The regime is obviously planning on pushing the COVID panic porn well into 2024 and beyond.

The Daily Mail reported:

The Biden administration struck a $137 million deal to build a new factory in the U.S. to ramp up production of COVID-19 testing kits – but the new facility won’t be completed until late 2024 at the earliest.

MilliporeSigma, a brand formed by Germany’s Merck KGaA, will build a new factory in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the Defense Department announced as the U.S. hit a high record of 489,267 COVID cases on Wednesday

While the contract gives the company three years to complete the facility, it is not immediately clear when it will ramp up to full production, which is expected to pump out 83.3 million tests per month.

‘Construction is expected to begin the second half of 2022 and initial planning and preparatory work is already underway,’ a MilliporeSigma spokesperson told DailyMail.com. ‘We estimate that the facility will be capable of providing lateral flow membranes in the latter part of 2024.’

The individual said that the production of lateral flow membrane is ‘critical for rapid diagnostic tests’ that will not only help with COVID-19 detection, but also with ‘any future public health emergencies.’

The deal has fueled speculation that the administration is predicting high rates of testing capabilities for coronavirus detection will still be needed several years down the line.

Gableman, who was previously a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice, was asked by Speaker of the Wisconsin state Assembly Robin Vos to lead an investigation into the 2020 election in the state. Gableman agreed and was appointed as special counsel.

The investigation is looking into several components of what went on during the election. Gableman is looking into how Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and the money he donated to the Center for Tech and Civic Life influenced the election, what the Wisconsin Election Commission was doing, the conduct of the mayors and the municipal clerks, the operation of the voting machines and other factors which might have influenced the election.

Wisconsin elections are not administered by the secretary of state, like in other states. Instead, Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board works in collaboration with 1,853 municipal clerks, 72 county clerks and numerous election inspectors during election season.

Many municipal clerks throughout the state live in very small towns, but in contrast, there are clerks in Wisconsin’s five biggest cities: Madison, Racine, Kenosha, Green Bay and Milwaukee. The clerks, however, are not independent authorities and report to the mayor, the city’s common council or the state elections commission.

Now Gableman is specifically looking into these cities’ mayors, clerks and staffers and how they might have been influenced by funding from the CTCL, which, thanks to generous donations from Zuckerberg, gave approximately $350 million to communities to run elections.

A source close to the investigation told The Western Journal that, in short, CTCL approached these five Wisconsin cities and offered $8.8 million grants to help keep voters safe from COVID. The group reportedly offered this money even though the source said the federal government, under the Trump administration, had already given $7 million to make sure clerks had enough PPE, sanitation and anything else needed to keep voters safe from COVID-19.

According to the source, each mayor of the five cities took “good faith” money. Racine allegedly received $60,000 and the other four cities received $10,000 each. Once they took this initial grant, CTCL sent questionnaires to see if the five cities then qualified for the full $8.8 million grant, the source said.

The questionnaire asked what the city was going to do to drive up the vote in what they deemed were historically disenfranchised neighborhoods, according to the source.

Gableman already issued subpoenas to the mayors of the cities. The next round of subpoenas that have just been issued, according to the source, is to mayoral staffers and IT departments in order to find information on how the cities used the money from CTCL.

Already, hundreds of pages of emails between Milwaukee election officials and CTCL have been made public.

Another part of the election that Gableman is looking into, according to the source, is concerns regarding the Wisconsin Election Commission, which has also been issued a subpoena in order to see the voting data in the state and specifically, to see the rolls of registered, active and inactive voters.

Deactivated voters include those who are dead or have moved away. According to the Help America Vote Act passed in 2002, states are supposed to have voter records. But dead voters should not be on the rolls of voters. So the source said Gableman is subpoenaing WEC in order to have access to the voter rolls.

The source told The Western Journal that the most recent subpoenas Gableman issued were all in-state for the WEC, mayoral staffers, IT records and more. But while the subpoenas issued are all in-state, Gableman’s team anticipates additional subpoenas for others involved in the election, the source said.

One major player in the election was the companies that ran the machines, such as Dominion Voting Systems. Gableman’s investigation is subpoenaing the companies in order to know exactly how the machines work and check the security of the systems, according to the source.

Gableman is also looking into other figures and organizations (including CTCL itself) from out of state who may have had a hand in ballot harvesting and other roles in the election, the source said. His team is allegedly working on getting subpoenas for these.

The source close to the investigation said the team is expecting pushback on every single subpoena issued, but as that happens, the investigation will continue. According to the source, the group will move on to the higher courts as necessary, in order to keep investigating all of what went on in the 2020 election.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a package of legislation officially declaring racism a “public health crisis” in the state of New York.

Hochul claims the new laws are designed to address discrimination against Asian Americans amid the pandemic.

“For far too long, communities of color in New York have been held back by systemic racism and inequitable treatment,” Hochul said in a statement on December 23. “I am proud to sign legislation that addresses this crisis head-on, addressing racism, expanding equity, and improving access for all.”

The legislation contains six bills, including “The Hate Crimes Analysis and Review Act.” The measure instructs law enforcement officials instructs to collect data and report demographic data for hate crimes victims and alleged perpetrators.

Another policy included in the package requires state agencies, departments, commissions, and boards to invasively collect demographic data from minorities “to keep a more accurate and relevant public record of Asian populations in New York.”

The legislation also requires the New York State Office of Technology Service to guide state agencies to assist all state agencies with developing websites and services for non-English speaking residents.

Ironically, just days after Hochul enacted legislation to purportedly amend racial discrimination, the Democrat governor administration began instituting a flagrantly racist Covid policy.

The New York State Department of Health issued a memo on December 27 essentially barring white Covid-infected patients from access to oral antiviral pills.

Amid a shortage of Paxlovid or Monoclonal antibody treatment, only those of “non-white race or Hispanic/Latino ethnicity are authorized for the treatment because of “systemic inequity,” the NYSDH warns in a notification issued on Dec. 27.

“Non-white race or Hispanic/Latino ethnicity should be considered a risk factor, as longstanding systemic health and social inequities have contributed to an increased risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19,” the 8-page guidance states.

While Americans debate the COVID-19 drug and the best way to protect oneself from the coronavirus, the F.D.A., which promotes people getting the jab, has secretly been working hard to delay the documents and findings of Pfizer’s pre-licensure safety data. And although postponing the documents isn’t uncommon, the F.D.A. doesn’t want to make the findings public for 75+ years, leaving many to ask, “Why?”

Wanting to know exactly why the F.D.A. was trying to bury the findings, ICAN filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the C.D.C. The lawsuit hopes to force the C.D.C. to release its information to the public. It should be noted that the C.D.C. had already made the same information available in deidentified form to a private company called Oracle.

A CDC document revealed that the C.D.C. submitted v-safe information to Oracle to be stored on a secure server. The C.D.C. admitted the information was “collected, managed, and housed on a secure server by Oracle.” The company also had access to “aggregate deidentified data for reporting.”

For those who might not know, before V-safe, the F.D.A. and C.D.C. used the safety monitoring system VAERS, but they insisted it was unreliable. That led them to V-safe, which is a smartphone app that allows those who have received the COVID-19 drug to “tell C.D.C. about any side effects after getting the COVID-19 vaccine.” The goal of V-safe “is to rapidly characterize the safety profile of COVID-19 vaccines when given outside a clinical trial setting.”
