President Joe Biden campaigned for months that a robust federal response could vanquish the COVID-19 pandemic, but he reversed course Monday by telling the nation's governors that states are likely to be more successfully tailoring solutions for their citizens.

"There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level," Biden declared during a call with the National Governors Association.

The president's response was a marked shift for America's 46th president, who campaigned last year that federal government under his direction could conquer the virus and who boasted just days ago that "federal emergency medical teams are ready to respond to surges nationwide."

Biden's declaration in July that the pandemic had been defeated was premature, as the Delta and omicron variants felled the nation in two successive waves.

The president's comments came after Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, the head of the NGA, urged Biden to keep the federal government from interfering with state innovations in the fight against the pandemic.

One word of concern or encouragement for your team is that as you look towards federal solutions that will help alleviate the challenge, make sure that we do not let federal solutions stand in the way of state solutions," Hutchinson said.

"The production of 500 million rapid tests that will be distributed by the federal government is great, but obviously that dries up the supply chain for the solutions that we might offer as governor."

President Joe Biden left Monday for his beach vacation in Delaware after admitting in a video call with U.S. governors that there was no federal solution to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Thank you very much. Look, there is no federal solution,” Biden said as he began speaking to the governors. “This gets solved at a state level.”

The president appeared with his coronavirus team on the artificial White House video conferencing set. He indicated that only governors could end the pandemic by leading the charge.

“It ultimately gets down to where the rubber meets the road,” Biden said, referring to state government. “My message to the governors is simple. If you need something, say something.”

He said the omicron variant of the virus is a “source of concern” but urged Americans not to panic.

The president acknowledged the long lines for people trying to get coronavirus tests before the Christmas holiday. “Seeing how tough it was for some folks to get a test this weekend shows that we have more work to do,” he said.

He claimed that if he had known there would be a shortage he would have acted.

“It’s not enough. It’s clearly not enough,” Biden said. “If we had known, we would have gone harder, quicker if we could have.”

During the call Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) thanked Biden for working with governors but warned that the federal government’s effort to buy up coronavirus tests would make it difficult for states to compete.

“That dries up the supply chain for what we might offer as governors,” Hutchinson said.

Biden spoke to reporters briefly as he left the White House for his beach house in Delaware, claiming “there were no complaints” during his call with governors.

“They said they’ve gotten all that they need. They just want to know what we think is gonna happen from here,” he said.

By covertly recruiting popular YouTube influencer Abigail Thorn to counter growing opposition to UK gov’t Covid restrictions, psy-ops pros are bringing home the tactics they honed in the Syrian dirty war.

Leaked documents have revealed a state-sponsored influence operation designed to undermine critics of the British government’s coronavirus policies by astroturfing a prominent founder of the BreadTube clique of “anti-fascist” YouTube influencers.

The project aims to conduct psychological profiling on British citizens dissenting against policies such as mandatory vaccination and lockdowns, then leverage the data to establish a YouTube channel that portrays these critics as dangerous “superspreaders” of “disinformation.”

Designed “to curb the influence of pseudoscience material online, with specific emphasis on Coronavirus-related ‘anti-vaxxing’ sentiment,” the operation is run by the UK’s Royal Institution, and dubbed “Challenging Pseudoscience.”

Its top patron is Charles, the Prince of Wales, next in line to the British throne, who recently hit out at supposed “conspiracy theories” surrounding COVID-19 vaccines. The organization received a substantial cash injection in 2020 from the UK government’s Culture Recovery Fund earmarked for video production.

Leaked files obtained by The Grayzone indicate that the Royal Institution has enlisted the services of Valent Projects, a “social change” communications firm founded by a public relations operative previously involved in the UK Foreign Office’s campaign for violent regime change in Syria. Valent has also been sponsored by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), a US intelligence cut-out, for a project aimed at “investigating disinformation.”

Valent’s central role in the operation highlights the trend of information warfare specialists bringing the techniques they honed against targets like the Syrian government back home to the West, where increasingly unpopular governments confront masses of citizens ever-bristling at coronavirus restrictions.

As in Syria, where communications firms like Valent created, trained and instrumentalized media organizations to further regime change objectives, they have covertly recruited a famed British YouTube influencer to lend their carefully calculated messaging campaign an authentic flavor.

According to internal documents, Valent plans to design a “mass appeal social media campaign fronted and owned by prominent social media figure Abigail Thorn,” the founder of Philosophy Tube. Valent’s research on British citizens who reject official policy on COVID-19 “will be used to devise a campaign that utilises YouTuber Abigail Thorn’s existing platform to achieve a measurable cognitive shift in the target audience,” the files state.

Boasting over one million subscribers to her YouTube channel and more than 7000 Patreon supporters, Thorn has established a potent vehicle for any communications campaign. She is also a core member of BreadTube, an assortment of left-branded social media influencers that has attracted intense establishment interest for its purported ability “to pop YouTube’s political bubbles to create space for deradicalisation.”

While top BreadTubers are best known for employing memes and theatrical ploys to counter right-wing narratives, they have also dedicated intense energy to attacking the anti-imperialist left as “tankies” engaged in a secret “red-brown alliance” with right-wing extremists.

In his book, “BreadTube Serves Imperialism: Examining the New Brand of Internet Pseudo-Socialism,” socialist organizer Caleb Maupin likened BreadTube to the “counter-gangs” deployed by British and US intelligence to infiltrate and dismantle insurgent forces from Kenya to Southeast Asia.

BreadTube “speaks in the name of left-wing sounding ideals. In reality, it is likely serving one section of the American ruling elite and the intelligence agencies,” Maupin wrote.

The covert relationship between BreadTube’s Abigail Thorn, Valent Projects, and the Royal Institute appears to validate Maupin’s thesis.

“It does not surprise me at all to find out there is documented evidence that the British Royal Family and an intelligence contractor is bankrolling the work of Abigail Thorn,” Maupin told The Grayzone. “It lines up with everything I have observed about her and the BreadTube trend overall.”

Maupin continued, “BreadTube’s ‘socialism’ is not really socialism, it is mobilizing young liberals to keep dissident elements in line. It’s securing the rule of British and American corporations over the planet by trying to silence those who get in its way.”

The national security establishment’s favorite socialists
Since launching Philosophy Tube in 2013, Abigail Thorn’s YouTube channel boasts over 7000 paying Patreon fans and well over one million YouTube subscribers. By probing complex philosophical and political issues in a highly accessible, engaging manner and deploying elaborate, artisanal audio and visual effects, she has emerged as a social media celebrity. A lengthy profile video produced by the BBC refers to her as “one of the most high-profile transgender figures in the UK.”

Thorn is among the most prominent figures within the loosely knit collective of YouTube influencers known as BreadTube. Inspired by the title of anarchist Peter Kropotkin’s tract, The Conquest of Bread, BreadTube advances a hyper-identitarian, imperialism-friendly interpretation of socialist politics that has earned its creators enthusiastic promotion from establishment interests.

The New York Times, for example, published a lengthy 2019 profile of a young man named Caleb Cain who supposedly “fell down the alt-right rabbit hole” on YouTube. Cain claimed he was de-radicalized through exposure to videos by Thorn and other popular BreadTubers like Natalie Wynn of Contrapoints. During the Trump era, as the Google-owned YouTube implemented a raft of stringent speech codes, it began amplifying BreadTube influencers through its algorithm.

Other popular BreadTube figures include Vaush, a video gamer from Beverly Hills, California named Ian Koshinski. Known for his superficial understanding of Marxism, crude invective against Trump supporters (“they disappear, or we all do”), female high school athletes (“sorry you ****ing suck, dumb bitch”), and imprisoned journalist Julian Assange (“I want Assange to die in a CIA black site just because it would trigger all the worst people on Twitter”), the self-described “libertarian socialist” has earned the moniker “Vaush Limbaugh” from his critics.

Then there is Shaun, a British BreadTuber whose recent attack on left-wing political comedian Jimmy Dore’s criticisms of government Covid restrictions contained echoes of the “Challenging Pseudoscience” project prepared for Thorn by intelligence-related outfits. Shaun’s arguments relied heavily on statements by official experts and US government bodies like the FDA and CDC. While Dore has been limited by YouTube’s sweeping speech codes, Shaun’s viral video appears to have benefited from an algorithmic boost.

“All the key signs of infiltration are there,” Caleb Maupin said of BreadTube.

“Since when does US mainstream media highlight the work of Marxist revolutionaries? Why are people who seem so unfamiliar with basic elements of socialist ideology suddenly elevated to the position of respected experts by the algorithms? Why do their foreign policy views seem to line up so closely with the US State Department? I have had no doubt they were being covertly supported by powerful entities with goals other than overthrowing capitalism.”

Unlike some fellow BreadTubers, Thorn comes across as amiable and trustworthy, fostering a personal bond with her viewers and regularly publishing thank you notes to patrons, listing them each by name. These qualities have attracted support for Philosophy Tube by both public and private backers.

Thorn’s April 2021 dismantling of the politics of right-wing culture warrior Jordan Peterson has racked up almost two million views and was sponsored by Curiosity Stream, a US media streaming service. The video opens with a black screen disclosing the support provided by the company and claiming Thorn would donate her fee to the feminist campaign group, Sisters Uncut. The video is also emblazoned with YouTube’s “paid promotion” logo.

Yet no such disclaimer referring to support from the Royal Institution can be found on any of her other uploads. And that may be because the Covid campaign was intended to be covert.

Astroturf campaign seeks to achieve ‘measurable cognitive shift’
The “Challenging Pseudoscience” operation designed for Thorn was launched in February 2021 by liberal science journalist Angela Saini. The author of several popular titles and a forthcoming book on “the origins of patriarchy,” she is also part of The Lancet Covid-19 Commission’s Task Force on Global Health Diplomacy.

The commission’s chief, Peter Daszak, a zoologist who serves as president of the US-based NGO known as EcoHealth Alliance, was forced to resign in June over conflict of interest issues.

In the years leading up to the outbreak of Covid-19, Daszak worked extensively on bat coronaviruses and gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. His organization received tens of millions in funding from the Pentagon’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency, a division “[countering] weapons of mass destruction and improvised threat networks.” In December 2019, Daszak warned that coronaviruses can “get into human cells,” one can “manipulate them in the lab pretty easily,” and “you can’t vaccinate against them.”

The host of Saini’s project, the Royal Institute, was founded in 1799 by British scientists of the day “with the aim of introducing new technologies and teaching science to the general public.” Landed gentry and royalty have always occupied the Institution’s highest levels. Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, Field Marshal Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, has served as president since 1976.

The files indicate that the Royal Institution enlisted the services of Valent Projects, a communications firm “[working] with clients in the UK and all over the world to counter disinformation and strengthen the bonds between people.”

Valent was founded by Amil Khan, a former Reuters and BBC reporter who officially left journalism “to help good causes navigate the new information landscape.”

From February, Valent Projects proposed a “two-phase” project to “develop an understanding of the psychological drivers behind the generation and spread of anti-vaxxer narratives.” It planned to exploit this data “to develop and test public messaging responses.”

The findings would “inform other programming by Challenging Pseudoscience…as well as other stakeholders including the science community and concerned governments and public health bodies.”

In the campaign’s first phase, extensive online interviews were to be conducted, along with “ethnographic research” to secure “comprehensive understanding of the key online audiences driving anti-vaxxing mis/disinformation around the Coronavirus pandemic.”

Valent Projects then planned to “draw together insights” from these findings, developing “comprehensive audience profiles” – including “demographic information” – to design a “mass appeal social media campaign fronted and owned by prominent social media figure Abigail Thorn,” who runs online channel Philosophy Tube.

Valent indicated its intent to exploit Philosophy Tube’s sizable platform to “achieve a measurable cognitive shift [emphasis added] in the target audience.”

Reaching the intended viewers was forecast to be a significant task in itself, however. Valent noted most Philosophy Tube viewers are within the 18 to 35 age range, but “existing research” suggested the “most prolific consumers of pseudoscience material” were over the age of 45.

The firm felt the “best topic to address this issue is probably along the lines of ‘the thing about expertise’ [sic].” Fittingly, in August 2020 Thorn uploaded a video, “Who’s afraid of the experts?” Featuring comedian Adam Conover of the popular show, “Adam Ruins Everything,” the 45 minute-long defense of the scientific consensus on the HIV/AIDS debate is the first result in any search for the term “vaccine” on Philosophy Tube’s channel.

The leaked documents thus expose what had long suspected by critics of BreadTube: the popular social media collective has been instrumentalized by powerful interests with connections to Western intelligence agencies.

An astroturfed information warfare campaign hiding in plain sight
Multiple requests for comment from The Grayzone to Abigail Thorn’s agent and Angela Saini have gone unanswered.

When quizzed about the leaked files on Twitter, Valent Projects CEO Amil Khan flew into a rage, angrily asserting they were “obtained through hacking and then doctored,” in the manner of “classic doxing,” and threatened legal action against this journalist for publicizing them.

Khan later pumped out a series of tweets aimed at controlling the damage of his imminent exposure. In one, he falsely claimed that a co-author of this piece would publish their reporting in “Russian state affiliated media.”



Yet when challenged about his claim of doctoring, Khan did not respond.
Subsequent requests for clarity on which elements of the documents were maliciously altered and how that might have taken place have also gone unanswered. But evidence of the secret project’s existence was hiding in plain sight.

For example, Valent Projects lists the Royal Institution on its website as a client.

An accompanying writeup notes it “developed and implemented a data-led behaviour change campaign [emphasis added] aimed at understanding and working with the psychological drivers behind anti-vaxer sentiment in the UK” for the organization.

Similarly, a post on the company’s official LinkedIn page refers to an “analysis of tens of thousands of UK-based social media users “posting/sharing anti-vax content online” it conducted for Countering Pseudoscience, which would “be used to inform ethnographic research designed to understand ‘why’ people hold these views.” In other words, a specific programming strand outlined in the documents.

Moreover, none other than Abigail Thorn was guest-of-honor at Challenging Pseudoscience’s launch event in February, “Vaccines: Warriors and Worriers,” which featured a debate on “how vaccines work, why people are skeptical despite the evidence, and how disinformation about vaccines spreads online.”

Also on the event’s panel were an immunologist named Zania Stamataki and Marianna Spring, the BBC’s first “specialist disinformation reporter.” She has repeatedly perpetuated falsehoods about the size of anti-lockdown protests in 2020 and nature of their participants. In a bizarre experiment, she furthermore personally set up numerous “fake troll” accounts on assorted online platforms that “engaged” with “misogynistic” content, allegedly for academic purposes.

In May, Thorn published a characteristically ornate video, “Ignorance & Censorship,” which touched on the topic of “disinformation” and vaccines. The next month, Challenging Pseudoscience convened a similarly named panel discussion, “Misinformation or Censorship.”

Then, the newly-launched Challenging Pseudoscience podcast shared two prior Royal Institution debates – the aforementioned Vaccines: Warriors and worriers, and “Disinformation and how to counter it,” which featured none other than Amil Khan as a speaker. It would be entirely unsurprising if this deluge was a coordinated effort.

A wide-ranging, long-running, cross-platform propaganda campaign involving multiple actors requires substantial resources. Until 2020, however, the Royal Institution struggled financially despite its royal patronage and elite trustees.

The organization has been forced to rent out its grand central London headquarters for conferences, corporate bashes and weddings. To plug a multimillion pound budget deficit in late 2015, the Royal Institution auctioned off treasured first editions of works by Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton and other eminent scientists. The fire sale prompted the BBC to ask whether the organization was on the verge of collapse.

Miraculously though, in October 2020, the Institution received hundreds of thousands of pounds from the UK government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund “to help face the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and ensure it has a sustainable future.”

An accompanying press release noted the Royal Institution had over the course of the pandemic “[developed] a successful programme of weekly science talks online” broadcast via its “well-established” YouTube channel, which today boasts 1.11 million subscribers. The cash injection would “increase the number of livestreamed science talks” hosted by the organization, and help it develop “new digital content.”

Valent Projects staffer Hamish Falconer has disclosed that the “exciting” Challenging Pseudoscience campaign has also received “generous support” from the Open Society Foundations of CIA-adjacent billionaire George Soros.

As the Washington Post’s David Ignatius reported in 1991, Soros was at the heart of a network of “overt operators” helping US intelligence carry out “spyless coups” against former Soviet satellite states.

In July 2021, Soros teamed up with fellow billionaire Bill Gates to purchase a UK-based Covid-19 test developer for $41 million.

Three months later, as Alex Rubinstein documented for The Grayzone, Soros partnered with tech oligarch Reid Hoffmann to found Good Information Inc, a social media censorship operation marketed under the aegis of “countering disinformation.”

Hamish is the son of Charlie Falconer, a longtime friend and former roommate of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair. Following Blair’s May 1997 election victory, Falconer senior was elevated to the unelected House of Lords, and served in a series of high-ranking government posts throughout his pal’s tenure.

Along the way, he applied “huge pressure” to Attorney General Lord Goldsmith to change his view that invading Iraq would be illegal. His intervention may have played a decisive role in greenlighting the war of aggression.

Valent founder “embedded into terrorist organizations,” ran Syria psy-ops for armed extremists

Hamish Falconer’s hiring at Valent Projects in March 2021 highlights the firm’s deep ties to the UK’s intelligence apparatus. At the time, he was ostensibly on leave from the UK Foreign Office.

Khan trumpeted Falconer’s hire on LinkedIn, declaring that “he brings the action end to our work – experimenting and innovating with digital influence for good.”

Having met in Pakistan “over a decade ago,” the pair “have not stopped talking and comparing notes since.”

Falconer’s spartan online résumé sheds little light on his professional history, noting only a spell at the UK government’s Department for International Development, followed by a seven-month gap, before he joined the Foreign Office as a ‘Diplomat’ until August 2020.

No detail is offered either on where Falconer has been posted, or what his role entailed at any point. He is a graduate of Yale University’s Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program, named for the AIG founder who nearly became CIA director. The Greenberg fellows program identifies and grooms prospective future influencers, including no shortage of US-backed would-be coup leaders.

Among the most famous alumni of the program is jailed Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny.



The Greenberg program’s profile of Falconer states, “he has led the Foreign Office’s Terrorism Response Team, UK efforts to start a peace process in Afghanistan and served in Pakistan and South Sudan,” and served a stint at the National Crime Agency – London’s equivalent of the FBI.

Counter-terror is not a stated Foreign Office purview, but just one of “three core areas of focus” for the UK foreign intelligence service MI6. It may just be a coincidence the agency’s spies typically pose as ‘diplomats’ overseas.

By contrast, Khan’s activities between December 2008, when he left his position as ‘hostile environments reporter’ for the BBC, and October 2017, when he joined elite UK national security think tank Chatham House as an ‘associate fellow’ – the next entry on his public CV – can be pieced together with much greater certitude, but still only approximately.

Valent Projects founder Amil Khan

A leaked document indicates that he first crossed paths with Falconer while managing a ‘countering violent extremism’ propaganda campaign for the UK government in Islamabad. The file relates to a Foreign Office funded effort to train “articulate Syrian armed and civilian grassroots opposition entities,” and promote them to “Syrian and international audiences” as a credible alternative to the government of Bashar al-Assad.

The project was delivered by ARK, a shadowy intelligence contractor founded by the likely MI6 operative, Alistair Harris, which has raked in innumerable lucrative contracts from waging covert information warfare operations on behalf of the UK government.

Khan was heavily involved in ARK’s Syrian efforts. Another leaked file, outlining some of the company’s work inside Syria shows that it oversaw a “rebranding” of the CIA-armed Free Syrian Army to portray it as a moderate, secular force unconnected to the hardcore jihadist factions that dominated the armed opposition. Khan is named as one of three operatives managing the media office of the parallel Syrian National Coalition government controlled by London through intelligence cutouts like ARK.

This work placed Khan in extremely close quarters with members of violent ‘rebel’ factions implicated in hideous crimes against humanity. That he “[provided] political and media support to opposition political and military groups” in Syria has been openly confirmed. A scathing internal Whitehall review of the Foreign Office’s information warfare operations in the country concluded they were “poorly planned, probably illegal, and cost lives.”

It wasn’t the first time Khan been in such murderous company. At some point after leaving ARK in August 2014, he joined InCoStrat, another contractor that conducted destabilizing psy-ops on the UK government’s behalf throughout the Syrian crisis. InCoStrat delivered “strategic communications support” to a variety of armed groups on-the-ground, including the notoriously brutal, Saudi-backed militia known as Jaysh al-Islam.
Khan also played a central role in this dubious initiative. In a document discussing its ability to “[develop] contacts in Arabic-speaking conflict affected states,” InCoStrat bragged how, “in his previous career as a journalist,” Khan “established relationships with, and embedded himself into terrorist organizations in the UK and the Middle East,” gaining “unique insight into their narratives, communication methods, recruitment processes and management of networks” as a result.

InCoStrat was founded by ex-Foreign Office political officer Emma Winberg and UK military intelligence journeyman Paul Tilley, a former director of Strategic Communications for the UK Ministry of Defence in the Middle East and North Africa. Winberg left to join Mayday Rescue, parent ‘charity’ of the fraudulent humanitarian group known as the White Helmets. She later married its founder, James Le Mesurier, who died in mysterious circumstances in 2019 after damaging revelations of financial corruption came to light.

A broad landscape of state-backed Covid propaganda ops
It’s probable the “Countering Pseudoscience” project is just one part of a wider landscape of online astroturf initiatives designed to restore cratering public trust in authorities around Covid policy.

Valent Projects has also conducted work for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a neoconservative think tank, researching “violent actors using the ‘dark web’ to mobilise recruits and threaten public figures in Europe.” This initiative was likely also aimed at countering lockdown opposition.

Back in April 2020, Khan appeared on a panel discussion convened by the organization, “Countering Disinformation in a Time of COVID19.”

At the start of December, the Institute released a brief report, “Between conspiracy and extremism: A long COVID threat?”, which attempted to frame the “radicalization” of anti-lockdown protesters as a terrorist threat. What input Khan may have had in this publication was unclear.

Valent Projects is just one of an array of companies that have brought psy-ops techniques honed in Syria and other theaters of Western information warfare back home with them, like soldiers returning from battlefields marketing their deadly skills to private security and intelligence firms. And Abigail Thorn is just one YouTuber, at a time when the British state is known to be maliciously recruiting digital personalities to further its interests across the globe.

Coincidentally, Zinc has been engaged in efforts since the onset of the pandemic to concoct a link between extremist activities and anti-lockdown, vaccine hesitant views. It has also published research on how to best market a test-and-trace app to UK citizens, “as part of a broader research project on public understanding of and support for Artificial Intelligence.”

It is simply inconceivable that similar operations have not been enacted elsewhere in the world, or that this phenomenon is exclusive to the UK. Further, it is impossible to know if the next slick viral video countering grassroots dissent of an official narrative is state or quasi-state propaganda, cleverly crafted to induce a “cognitive shift” in viewers, in which the star of the online show is effectively an intelligence asset rattling off a script drawn up by full-time spooks.

“It’s the crushing impact that our COVID policies have had on young kids and children. By far the least serious risk for serious illness,” she said, adding “a healthy teenager has a one in a million chance of getting, and dying from COVID, which is way lower than, you know, dying in a car wreck on a road trip.”

“But they have suffered and sacrificed the most, especially kids and underrepresented at risk communities. And now we have the Surgeon General saying there’s a mental health crisis among our kids,” Crawford continued. “The risk of suicide girl suicide attempts among girls now up 51 percent this year, black kids nearly twice as likely as white kids to die by suicide. I mean, school closures, lockdowns, cancellation of sports.”

Newsbusters, who first noticed the censorship, reported “CBS axed Crawford’s comments seconds before they would have aired. As you can see in the transcript and video of how the show aired (links above), White House correspondent Weijia Jiang said “we’ll see” about what happens with Congress in 2022 and Crawford was then set to follow, but Brennan instead went to a commercial break.”

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 are on the rise again due to the omicron variant and its high level of transmissibility. On Dec. 26, 189,714 new cases of COVID-19 were reported. Of those, 54,828 came from New York City. This means that 28.9% of new cases reported for Dec. 26 came from the Big Apple.

But with these numbers, the AP appears to focus on Florida’s new cases.



This appears to be another example of the Mainstream Media focusing on what they want and not necessarily what is the truth.

Why Have New York City COVID Hospitalizations Spiked Amid 90 Percent Vaccinated Population?

Despite an overwhelming majority of New York residents being fully vaccinated, hospitals in the state are reportedly filled with Covid infected patients and an increasing number of those admitted with the virus are children.

During a remote press briefing from City Hall on Monday, outgoing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio claimed there were 17,343 new Covid-positive test results in the city, of which 296 were hospitalized.

Statewide, hospitalizations surged by 11 percent in just one day, from 4,891 on Christmas to 5,526 on Sunday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said Monday.

The number of pediatric admissions in New York City increased by 395 percent in the past two weeks. From Dec. 5 to 11, there were 22 cases of Covid hospitalizations amongst children in NYC. The number jumped to 109 from Dec. 19 to Dec. 23, ABC 7 reports.

Statewide, pediatric hospitalizations increased from 70 to 184 during the same time frame.

Why is there an influx of Covid hospitalizations in regions with the highest vaccinated populations if the mandated experimental vaccines are actually “safe and effective?”

At least 16,126,203 people or 82 percent of New York’s population has received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while approximately 13,874,220 people or 71 percent of New York residents has been fully vaccinated, according to USA Facts.

As of December 24, 2021, 71.7 percent of children from 12 to 17 years of age in the state had received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccines, and 64.1 percent were been fully vaccinated. At least 27 percent of kids 5 to 11 years of age had received at least one dose and 16.1 percent were been fully vaccinated.

In New York City, at least 90 percent of adult residents have received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine and 82 percent are fully vaccinated, according to data published on the city’s official website.

Evidently, the COVID jabs do not inoculate against transmission of the coronavirus and masks are not “stopping the spread.” But the inefficacy of the experimental shots and face coverings is not stopping the Democrat lawmakers from continuing to coerce the public towards 100 percent COVID compliance.

The Big Apple, the city with some of the most stringent COVID regulations in the country, has forced millions of its residents to comply with its vaccine mandate to keep their jobs and go to school. New York City residents as young as 5-years old must present vaccine passports to legally enter restaurants, bars, gyms, sports arenas and nearly every indoor venue.

Getting caught forging a vaccine passport in New York City results in a 7-year prison sentence, while the penalty for a bootleg vaccine passport is a 1-year prison sentence in New York state.

Masks are required in every indoor venue and violators who choose not to wear face coverings face $1000 fines

Hochul and De Blasio insist the recent uptick of Covid hospitalizations warrant even more sweeping Covid measures.

The latest daily report of Covid infections shows 17,343 new positive test results in the city, the New York Post reports.

De Blasio warns the “staggering figure” should serve as “a powerful, powerful reminder — once again — to get everyone vaccinated, everyone boosted as quickly as possible.”

The mayor’s vaccine mandate for private businesses, which specifies that employers “may not allow any unvaccinated workers to come to their workplace, went into effect on Monday.

Speaking to MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday, De Blasio urged “every mayor, every governor, every CEO in America should do vaccine mandate now, because 2022 has to be the year we leave COVID behind.”

Hochul on Monday urged parents to get their children vaccinated before returning to school in the new year.

“With respect to our young people, parents I’m calling on you this is the time, you have kids home from school, there are plenty of vaccination opportunities from your pediatrician, to a site set up by the state of New York, our urgent care centers, drug stores,” Hochul said. “So many places where you can go get your child vaccinated before they get back to school.”

Mandates have nothing to do with ‘following the science’ and Fauci admitted that on Sunday morning.

“A vaccine requirement for a person getting on the plane is just another level of getting people to have a mechanism that would spur them to get vaccinated,” Fauci said to ABC’s Jon Karl on Sunday.

Fauci clarified his comments on vaccine mandates for domestic air travel after major public backlash.

“No, what I said, Jim, was that everything that comes up as a possibility we put it on the table and we consider it,” Fauci told CNN’s resident clown Jim Acosta.

“That does not mean that it is likely to happen. Right now I don’t think people should expect that we are going to have a requirement in domestic flights for people to be vaccinated.”

“It’s on the table, and we consider it, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

I doubt if we are going to see something like that in the reasonably foreseeable future” Fauci said Monday evening on CNN.

Let us be specific about the massive scale of this failure.

1. Vaccinating the Unvaccinated is stalled because a growing number of Americans now realize that untested vaccines do not protect you from being infected again. What is the point of getting a shot that does not shield you from the disease? Making matters worse is the growing evidence that some who receive the vaccine are dying subsequently from heart attacks and blood clots. Pregnant women in their first two trimesters are experiencing miscarriages. And professional athletes, particularly those playing soccer, are going down with pericarditis and myocarditis.
2. Further Protecting the Vaccinated? What a macabre joke that has become. Two weeks ago in my part of Florida, 85% of the people with COVID in the ICU were unvaccinated. Today, that number is 74%. Do you understand the trend line? MORE VACCINATED people are getting sick with COVID, including those with boosters. You can only lie to people so long before they get fed up with your mendacity and shut you out. That is one of the terrible legacies that Joe Biden has created.
3. Keeping Schools Safely Open? The onslaught of the new COVID wave in northern, blue states is ginning up new mandates to shut down in-class learning. The COVID generation of kids relying on public education in urban areas will be the most ignorant, uneducated lot in the history of America.
4. Increasing testing and Requiring Masking? A strong percentage of Americans are fed up with mask mandates because the masks do not prevent the spread of COVID. If the masks actually worked according to Biden’s idiotic fantasy, then we would not be seeing the huge current wave of COVID infections sweeping through the United States.
5. Protecting Our Economic Recovery? How do you have a growing, prospering economy when supply shortages are shutting down businesses or COVID is wreaking havoc on airline travel? Then there is inflation roaring along. It is only going to get worse.
6. Improving Care for those With COVID? Pray that you live in a Red State with a Governor like Ron DeSantis. If you get the COVID in Florida you will have access to monoclonal antibody treatment, Ivermectin, and Hydroxychloroquine. If you are in New York or Massachusetts, good luck. You are likely to be deprived of potential life-saving treatment.

The blame Donald Trump meme no longer works when it comes to the current COVID disaster. There was an effort in August to demonize Ron DeSantis as an incompetent murderer for his COVID policy. I received the following email (dated 17 August 2021) from one of my liberal acquaintances who fancies himself a journalist:

Man, Florida seems like a living hell – a crazy governor, gross incompetence, bizarre political psychotic behavior – is this your vision of Amerika because I am not liking it.

I responded:

Too bad you’re not a journalist. Because if you would actually do some research and talk to people who live here you would realize the propaganda campaign running against DeSantis is bullshit.

He wrote back:

Really – Im just looking at numbers and they look REALLY bad in Florida. Your death/hospitalization rate is awful. You are one of the worst places on earth, statistically speaking. Seems DeSantis has the same hubris problem of Trump thinking you can spin a global pandemic for political points – predictably leads to unnecessary death and pain.

My final response:

There you go, believing everything you read. We’re just fine here. I don’t see you jumping up and down about the fact that we learned overnight that Cuomo hid 12,000 deaths that were his responsibility.

While he was hiding deaths the Hollywood and establishment media like you were lining up to ****. So save me your selective outrage.

DeSantis believes in freedom. If you want to wear a mask, wear one.

But there is no valid medical or scientific reason to compel vaccinated people or people who have COVID antibodies to wear a mask. They are immune. The bullshit reporting on Florida is a nice diversion from the goat rope that Biden has created in Afghanistan.

Have you written anything to Nancy Pelosi decrying her fundraiser where all these entitled white asses sat shoulder to shoulder without a mask in sight except for the little brown people forced to wear masks to wait on Pelosi’s crowd. If you actually called fair balls and strikes I’d respect you. I recommend you try to emulate Glenn Greenwald or Matt Taibi. .

Now with New York, Minnesota, Massachusetts, etc breaking records for new infections and hospitalizations, the misguided soul who tried to scorch DeSantis finds his own words coming back to bite him. Florida is again experiencing a surge because all of the snowbirds from the northern states with lockdowns and mandates are flocking here and spreading more than Christmas joy. As major companies roll out digital-health-passport technologies in response to COVID-19, one coalition of firms has already placed the medical data of American citizens at risk of access by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The Vaccination Credential Initiative (VCI) describes itself as a “coalition of public and private organizations committed to empowering individuals with access to verifiable clinical information” by creating “trustworthy and verifiable” vaccination records in both digital and paper formats. The aim of the coalition is to make all personal medical and health data compatible with digital wallets or a QR code.

VCI is led by the Mitre Corporation, which is based in McLean, Virginia — just minutes away from the CIA’s headquarters. Mitres’s primary work has been for government agencies such as the U.S, military, NATO, the Federal Aviation Authority, and the Centers for Disease Control.

VCI’s long list of 350 members includes everything from big corporations — including Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Walgreens, and Walmart — and the Mayo Clinic, to various universities and the states of Colorado, California, and New York.

Part of the SMART Health Card development by VCI expressly states that the member’s intentions are to “improve [the] privacy and security of patient information.”

Yet the ties that several of VCI’s constituent entities have to the CCP raise questions about how well the coalition will protect Americans’ privacy.

One member, for example, is The Commons Project. Three different board members and trustees of the organization operate businesses in China, making them vulnerable to the regime’s National Intelligence Law, which states:

“All organizations and citizens shall support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence efforts in accordance with law, and shall protect national intelligence work secrets they are aware of.”

The likes of Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft have all recently partnered with Beijing on tech endeavors, including tailored censorship and the creation of operating systems designed to limit Chinese citizens’ abilities to freely navigate the internet.

Members of the Joe Biden government already publicly back data-sharing with the Chinese government. But SMART Health Cards, developed by entities with ties to the CCP, could place the medical and personal data of American citizens in the hands of Chinese authorities.

Earlier this year, a leak of data held by the Chinese government revealed that Beijing held sensitive data on almost 700 Americans (some as young as three), including their full names, birth dates, and passport numbers.

The entities participating in VCI, from governments to tech firms to schools, together possess an immense amount of information, all of which could potentially be accessed by China if security is compromised.

Before resigning as New York governor over sexual assault allegations, Democrat Andrew Cuomo oversaw the deployment of the Excelsior Pass in his state.

Excelsior is based on the same SMART Health platform, and is already being used by American Airlines.

“Excelsior Pass has enabled New Yorkers to get back to the people and things they love, helping drive our economic recovery in the process,” Cuomo said in August.

As the media stokes fears about the Omicron variant, many governments around the world are implementing restrictive measures to compel their population to receive the vaccine.

Last month, Austria became the first EU member to announce it would require citizens to get Covid-19 shots. This came only days after it introduced a lockdown for the unvaccinated — a restriction that went farther than other EU member nations in singling out those who have not received the shot. Germany this month enforced the same targeted lockdown on its unvaccinated citizens and indicated support for mandatory vaccinations.

The potential for Chinese spying of Americans’ has also been enabled by the Pentagon. As The New American reported, the Defense Department earlier this year approved two Chinese-made “Government Edition” drones that had previously been banned over espionage concerns.

A Holland America Line cruise ship was denied entry to a Mexican port over the weekend after health officials discovered positive COVID-19 cases on board.

The Mexican state of Jalisco’s health department confirmed in a statement to media outlets that 21 crew members on the Koningsdam cruise line tested positive for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19 when it arrived in the tourist resort city of Puerto Vallarta.

“Through onboard testing, we have confirmed that a small number of fully-vaccinated crew on Koningsdam tested positive for COVID-19,” Holland America wrote in a statement on Saturday to news outlets. “All are showing mild or no symptoms and are in isolation. Close contacts have been quarantined out of an abundance of caution.”

According to the Jalisco health department, the entire crew was tested for COVID-19 before departure on Dec. 19. Only one positive case was discovered.

“Due to a last-minute notification from authorities that guests would not be permitted ashore, the ship departed and will return to San Diego to arrive in two days as scheduled,” Holland America also said in a statement provided to KNSD-TV. “Guests were notified and continue to enjoy activities aboard the vessel.”

Holland America’s website says that patrons and staff have to be fully vaccinated, as well as provide a negative COVID-19 test in order to board its ships. The cruise line also mandates that guests and staff have to wear masks inside.

The Epoch Times has contacted Holland America for comment.

Several days before that, Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas did not disembark at two Caribbean locations, according to the cruise operator in a statement to The Epoch Times.

“Royal Caribbean International’s Odyssey of the Seas will not visit Curacao or Aruba as planned,” the cruise line told The Epoch Times. “The decision was made together with the islands out of an abundance of caution due to the current trend of COVID-19 cases in the destinations’ communities as well as crew and guests testing positive on board–55 crew members and guests, representing 1.1 percent of the onboard community.”

“The cruise sailed with 95 percent of the onboard community fully vaccinated.”

It’s not clear if the Omicron variant triggered the outbreak on either of the two ships. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that as of last week, Omicron made up 73 percent of all COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, recent studies have signaled that the new CCP virus strain causes milder symptoms and has resulted in far fewer hospitalizations worldwide. Only one death has been associated with the new strain in the United States—in Houston, Texas.

DEVELOPING STORY: A number of protesters were arrested MONDAY NIGHT at a Burger King in Brooklyn after they refused to show store workers vaccination papers. Watch video of the protests below.

“If you decide to hold the line, you must go down non-violently,” one of the protest organizers said.

Police then began handcuffing patrons who declined to show their government papers.

“This is not right gentlemen,” the man told police officers.

Earlier today New York City implemented the nation’s strongest mandate policies. Employers must ensure that all employees are vaccinated. And all New Yorkers over the age of 12 are required to show proof of at least two vaccine doses to enter most indoor venues.

This is the boldest action in the nation,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said earlier this month. “It is very, very consistent with what we’re dealing with right now because we have new threats, powerful new threats we have to answer. Omicron, this new variant, moves fast. We have to move faster.”

Protesters were loaded into police vans as a crowd chanted, “We the people will not comply.”

Folks skeptical of the various COVID vaccines out there have presented all sorts of reasons for their leeriness. Some of them reasonable, some of them ... not so much.

One reason so many Americans have been cautious about the jabs lately is that the new shots don't follow the traditional understanding of how vaccines work: by keeping you from getting whatever bug you've been inoculated against.

You know — the normal understanding of "vaccine."

But what "vaccine" means has been tweaked over the last several months.

The Centers for Disease Control and Infection infamously edited its definitions of "vaccination" and "vaccine."

As the Miami Herald — and many other media outlets — reported in an effort to explain away the CDC's vocabulary change, the term "vaccination" once said "the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific 0disease," but the agency replaced "immunity" with the word "protection."

Similarly, "vaccine" was changed from "a product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease" to "a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases."

Of course, those who get off on trashing anyone who dares say their skepticism of the shots might be based on the apparently fluid definitions of "vaccine" and "vaccination" will claim that the new definitions simply reflect the reality of what we've always said about inoculations.

But do they?

Left-wing MSNBC host Rachel Maddow sure didn't think so earlier this year when she was celebrating the vaccines during the March 29 episode of her show.

"Instead of the virus being able to hop from person to person to person, potentially mutating and becoming more virulent and drug-resistant along the way, now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person," Maddow asserted, echoing the understanding most people had at the time of vaccines and how they work.

"A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus, the virus does not infect them," she continued. "The virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else. It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people."

"That means the vaccines will get us to the end of this, if we just go fast enough to get the whole population," Maddow added.

Interestingly, Maddow's bit wasn't censored by social media or lambasted by the big brains in mainstream media for spreading a false definition of vaccines.

Just a few months after Maddow stated what was essentially everyone's understanding of what it meant to get vaccinated, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky admitted that the vaccines don't stop people from transmitting COVID but said they do help prevent severe illness and death.

"Our vaccines are working exceptionally well," she told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Aug. 5. "They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death — they prevent it. But what they can't do any more is prevent transmission."

Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.) hosted a holiday party earlier this month at his home that led to a "small number" of guests testing positive for COVID-19, the governor's office acknoledges.

Both the governor and his wife Annie Lamont have tested negative multiple times since the Dec. 11 party, the governor's communications director Max Reiss told CT Insider.

All party attendees were required to provide proof of COVID vaccination and a negative test, Reiss said.

“In the week that followed, the Lamonts were informed that a small number of attendees had tested positive for COVID-19,” Reiss stated.

Reiss did not confirm whether the Connecticut governor and first lady wore masks, nor did he state how many guests attended.

Connecticut recently rolled out digital COVID vaccination cards. Last month, Lamont stated he believes that unboosted people are not fully vaccinated. "If you were vaccinated more than six months ago, you're not fully vaccinated," he said.

More than 87% of Connecticut residents have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.

Facemasks Are Not a Mere “Inconvenience”

One of the most trenchant arguments made by proponents of forced masking is some variation of “it’s just an inconvenience”, so/and/or “why do you have to make such a big deal about it”. (To be clear, this is not a legitimate scientific or factual argument for the adoption of any policy, but that is not what this article is about.) I am largely going to avoid the issues unique to masking children – what is plainly institutionalized child abuse – and for people with disabilities or past trauma, as many of the harms inflicted by masks are readily apparent and easily articulable.

On the surface, this contention seems like a morally and factually compelling argument. After all, if masks had any meaningful efficacy, wouldn’t it be a worthwhile tradeoff to endure a little discomfort to reduce the far worse suffering and death that would otherwise be inflicted by covid?

Yet this argument – “what’s the big deal” – does not square with how many people experience masks and mask mandates, including practically everyone who disagrees with masking as a policy. It is undeniable that millions of people are considerably more tormented by facemasks than what we would expect is reasonable or even possible for something that is indeed merely an “inconvenience”. People generally do not profoundly suffer from trivialities.

In other words, clearly facemasks are a considerably greater burden for many people than how they superficially appear; and yet few people are able to work out for themselves what about them is so abusive or terrible. The goal of this article is to enumerate some of the myriad harms and emotional abuses inflicted by forced masking, specifically those that are difficult to articulate or identify the connection to masking.

So what exactly is the big deal about wearing masks?
In a nutshell – as was just stated – mask wearing is to many people something that is enormously stressful, and something that evokes inordinately powerful negative emotions. This is simply the reality, irrespective of whether such feelings “make sense”.

Now, as a general rule, if someone feels powerfully about something, there’s a reason; or in other words, there is something that is provoking the strong emotions. And the source of these feelings does not have to be the thing that the feelings attach to. The only thing that matters is that the feelings exist, however misguided they may be.

This is not to say that the reality of feelings should be the dominant consideration above everything else. The current radical ‘social justice’ movement that has elevated one’s subjective “identity” as the defining characteristic of a person is the Reductio ad Absurdum of enshrining subjective feelings in place of objective reality itself.

What is true however is that the emotional distress and suffering of people is quite real. So even if you happen to be in favor of mask mandates and not at all bothered by mask wearing, that does not make the profoundly distressing experience of someone else any less real of an experience.

The following list is not exhaustive, just a collection of some of the factors that make mask wearing, especially forced masking, so distressing to many people.
A few important things to keep in mind:

1. Not every listed issue is true for every person who finds masks distressing.
2. Each issue amplifies the other ones, so that the cumulative distress is far greater than the sum of its parts. It’s like the difference between 1+2+3+…10 and 1x2x3x…10 (55 vs 3,628,800).
3. This list is not exhaustive.
4. The short explanations are intended to give a bit more insight into how people might typically experience that particular stress. They are not intended to comprehensively define the issue.

Emotional Stresses of Mask Mandates

Deprivation of Personal Autonomy
Depriving someone of their personal autonomy is stressful and demeaning. This is amplified when it is about something that is emotionally fraught, subject to strong opinions and feelings, relates to morality/values, and/or is something that has an implication that you lack the capacity to look out for your own interest.

Free will is a defining trait of being human, and the abrogation thereof is experienced as an assault on ones individuality.

A Sense of Helplessness
Being at the mercy of the arbitrary and capricious whims of others makes you feel a sense of helplessness, which is extremely stressful and grueling, and can eventually break a person mentally and emotionally, and is therefore a favored tactic used by tyrants to break the will of the population so that they are too broken to revolt (see Stalin’s reign of terror).

Invalidating Your Personal Identity
Masking is now – regardless of the factual merits – a political symbol in society. Being forced to mask is by definition being forced to yield in ones own actions – and worse, in ones public appearance – to your ideological and/or political opposition. Imagine if the government decided to make wearing a religious skullcap mandatory for everyone – you can make the same argument that is being made for masking – what’s the big deal, you barely notice it, etc – I am quite confident that atheists for instance would would feel very keenly the assault on their personal identity.

Assaulting Your Sense of Morality / Making You Feel Like You’re Immoral and Selfish
Mask mandates force people opposed to internalize that they are acting immorally and selfishly for two reasons. The first is that society is enshrining into law that how you act is immoral and selfish, which is a public declaration to the world that you are immoral and selfish. The second is that how you act outwardly always exerts influence in how you fell and identify internally, so constantly wearing a mask eats away at your internal convictions – even if you can withstand this, it creates some degree of cognitive dissonance internally. No one likes to feel like they are evil or selfish.

Deprives / Ruins Human Interactions
The quality and nature of social interactions is greatly reduced. Every interaction behind masks is fundamentally different. Interacting in this way can feel sad, despondent, isolating, cold, and/or cruel, among other things.

Over Time Changes Your Personality
Facemasks are a radical and unnatural impingement on normal mental and emotional functioning. Over time, this can change your personality – such as making you less social, less outgoing, more suspicious, decreased tendency or desire to be kind and so on.

Turns Other People Into Abusive Tyrants
This is meant to capture the phenomenon of a subset of people who have turned into cruel and vicious individuals, and abuse people whom they have power over.

A General Feeling of Being Trapped in a Nightmare
Many people feel a clear and distinct sense of being trapped in some sort of perverse nightmare as a result of covid policies, which is an extremely distressing experience, especially when there feels like there is no end in sight.

Elementary Lack of Fairness
People are very sensitive to fairness, and can feel enormous stress and distress when treated unfairly, especially when the unfair treatment is egregious. Mask policies are literally imposing on some people so other people can feel safer – a grotesquely unequal treatment, that in order to help the emotional health of the scared-to-death-of-covid pro-maskers, everyone else’s mental & emotional health will be trampled on by forced masking. Moreover, mask mandates preferentially enshrines the political, moral, and ideological views and sensibilities of one segment of society without any justification.

Repeated Experience of “Losing” in Public Policy Decisions
The experience of losing again, and again, and again in substantial, significant public policy decisions is itself very distressing. This happens to be one of the more prominent animating forces that drove Trump’s voter base – that they felt they always lost again and again and again and again. Covid policy for a substantial portion of the population has been a series of devastating losses as practically every policy choice cuts against them.

Feeling That Other People Matter While I Don’t
This is a distinct distress in addition to the lack of fairness – that “I don’t matter”; this is amplified considerably when “other people matter”. This is what people who are systematically disregarded tend to feel, and it is very painful.

And this is especially pronounced in racial minorities who already feel this way from previous history — mostly white liberal elites are forcing their preferences on blacks and other minorities.

The Stress of Difficulty Communicating
The frustration that comes from difficulty communicating is underappreciated, and tends to leave people feeling annoyed, frustrated and stressed.

The Damage From Failed Communication
This particular harm also has another, more tangible dimension – often, people having a hard time communicating simply give up, and giving up is itself an added stress factor that leaves people frazzled. If you’re talking to your doctor and you “give up” instead of making sure you understood what he was trying to tell you – especially older people who psychologically tend to both give up faster and have more innate difficulty physically hearing to begin with – that could be a big problem.

The Distress of Constant Harassment
Mask mandates are a constant intrusion into people’s personal lives that leaves people feeling exasperated – “just leave me alone already” / “just let me live in peace”. It is a basic human need to not be constantly harassed by others.

Living In Constant State of Worry, Fear, and Anger
Knowing that you have to submit to the mask mandates in many places where you need to go leaves you always feeling a variety of negative and unhealthy emotions about it.

Saps the Joy From Many Different Activities
Take shopping, for instance. For many people, shopping is a leisure activity that can be an effective emotional detox from life stresses… but not when you have to wear a mask to do it.

Living In Perpetual Stress From Social Enforcers
Inevitably, people opposed to mask mandates will not be particularly zealous about following them to a “T”, whether it be letting the mask slide down your face, taking it off for a few minutes here and there, or just munching on a bag of peanuts for 3 hours. There is always a baseline stress of constantly having to be alert for the “mask police” (whether they are actual police or just really annoying Karens).

Public Humiliation
The aforementioned “mask police” are often extremely zealous – unhinged, really – a non-masking-compliant person getting dressed down in public is a common occurrence. Public humiliation can be a traumatic experience.

Emotional Abuse
Mask mandates leave many people feeling emotionally abused. This is both from the masking being forced upon people despite all the mental and emotional distress it causes – in other words, abuse – and from the constant manipulation that is characteristic of abusers that is part and parcel of mask mandates.

Bullying Plain and Simple
Mask mandates are forced coercion jammed down the throats of those who strongly resent them. This is vicious bullying. No one enjoys feeling bullied, or having someone else’s will imposed on them against their own will.

The Distress of Being Under the Control of Someone You Loathe
Think of it this way: Imagine two ppl vying for the same promotion who hate each others guts, and then the winner is made the boss of the loser. This is an added, separate affront to the loser. Same idea here – the anti- mask people are being specifically dictated to by the very opponents they despise, and on the very issue that they’re fighting over. This isn’t just at a national level – this is more true about local county or school board fights, and this is a reliable recipe for bad blood and lasting enmity to boot.

The “Tax” of Buying Masks that are Less Unpleasant
Many people choose to buy fancier masks than the nasty surgical masks widely available everywhere, because they are far less unpleasant (and far more sanitary and subject to manufacturing standards and quality control). This itself is a further indignity – if the government wants to impose a draconian mandate on us, the least the government can do is to make comfortable masks available, especially considering the government is throwing cash everywhere because of covid – it’s an added insult and disrespecting of the people being imposed upon, in the sense that it’s just plain coldhearted to act this way to someone else, at least have a little sensitivity and try to make your own mandates as tolerable as possible on the people you’re imposing on.

Irrational Government Actions Breed A Sense of Fear and Instability
Watching the government act in such a factually irrational manner is itself very stressful to many people, as is living under an irrational regime. One’s sense of stability and trust in the world is rooted by necessity in the belief that rationality is a limiting principle at some point upon what government and people/institutions with power in society are able and willing to do.

Makes People Doubt Their Sense of Reality
The very fact of making a crazy policy is itself deeply destructive to people’s sense of reality. In other words, there is tremendous cognitive dissonance of on the one hand knowing that masking is nuts, but on the other hand, watching the government make mask mandates – it is very hard to have a genuine emotional conviction that essentially the entire medical community and all of society’s institutions have gone stark raving mad. Such cognitive dissonance is very damaging psychologically to your sense of self and your sense of reality, and is also mentally and emotionally exhausting.

Destroys People’s Sense of Trust & Stability
Being forced to do irrational and insane things erodes a person’s sense of confidence that there is a baseline rationality in society — something that provides people with a sense of stability and security in life generally. It is distressing to feel like there is absolutely no rational limiting principle on government actions or policies, since this by definition means that there is nothing that you can trust is sacred and beyond government (or someone else) coming and destroying. (This also actively erodes the social fabric that relies upon people being rational.)

Destructive of People’s Humanity and Dignity
Being forced to act irrationally causes you to lose your sense of dignity as a human being with an intellectual faculty that distinguishes man from animals. In other words, the more you are suppressed from acting in accordance with intelligence, the less you feel the unique transcendence of being a human being – treating people like animals makes them feel like animals.

Dehumanization Through Forced Anonymity
The face is the most visibly manifest characteristic that sets you apart as a unique individual. Masks, by covering your face, strip you to some degree of your sense of being a unique individual and instead makes you feel more like a number than a person. It also distorts your sense of the humanity of others, as you inevitably become trained to perceive other people as lacking human-ness.

They’re so Darn Uncomfortable
Masks can be extremely uncomfortable to wear, especially for long stretches at a time. They can also be quite gross to wear – if you sneeze into the mask, well……

Pragmatic Harms of Mask Mandates

Promotes Authoritarianism and Fascism
This is true as written – the ascendance of authoritarian and tyrannical governance has been as shocking as it was swift. Mask mandates – which are objectively draconian and authoritarian regardless of whether they are scientifically warranted – internalize in people that authoritarian governance is normal, acceptable, and not evil. This is a problem. Every genocidal regime started this way. This by itself is sufficient justification to fight mask mandates “to the death”.

On a more relatable level, mask mandates accustom government officials to acting like tyrants, and enjoying their newfound dictatorial powers, a ‘perk’ they are very unlikely to part with willingly.

Promotes Religious Cultism
Masks have become a religious symbol of virtuosity of a fanatical cult of irrational beliefs that has completely forsaken thinking for the cult members (like lone drivers wearing masks in their cars). Cults have committed some of the most horrific and bizarre atrocities over the past century.

Socially Conditions the Citizenry to Be Docile and Unthinking
Authoritarian mandates that are based only upon the word of people (the “experts”), especially in stark contradiction to facts and common sense, conditions people to be docile, and to not think about anything (as their intellects and opinions are scorned and said to be of too poor quality to be legitimate sources of knowledge for anyone, including themselves). This destroys the vibrancy and energy of the society, and conditions people to not think of themselves as individually capable beings who have the potential to achieve greatness, a critical driving force necessary to impel people to make something of themselves.

Balkanizes Society
Mask mandates help to further sow division and enmity between the factions of society by oppressing one faction while also giving the other faction the moral grounds to claim that the anti-mask faction by not going along with the mandate policies are in violation of the law, and are acting immorally as defined by societal approbation of mask mandates as a crucial health measure.

All-Encompassing Harms of Mask Mandates
Stress
The most obvious general harm of mask mandates is stress. Stress is known to be aggressively destructive to your health, and something that significantly exacerbates every known medical condition. Everything listed above causes the people afflicted to be stressed.

Breach of the Social Compact
When part of society is so wantonly destructive towards another part of society, the society loses its legitimacy in the eyes of the oppressed, and the rule of law is incorrigibly eroded, since one side simply inflicts their will upon the other side regardless of the laws, conventions, and norms of society; and without any limiting principle. “Rule of law for thee but not for me” is not rule of law, and has no moral legitimacy for the “thee” to respect or comply.

Indefinite Nature of the Suffering
The indefinite-ness of the situation is itself a source of considerable suffering, or a powerful amplification of the suffering one is already experiencing. It is infinitely easier and more bearable to handle suffering that you can see its end, when it will pass, versus suffering that seems inescapable and endless. (The feeling that the suffering is inescapable is a ubiquitous factor that leads people to commit suicide.)

C’mon, most of these are silly?
The ultimate refuge of someone trapped by the facts is scorn and mockery.

Human nature drives a person to feel and act derisive about something that requires depth to grasp. Human nature also strongly tends towards not just denying but mocking anything that challenges the morality and prudence of your opinions and actions. Thus people are told that their experiences and suffering from mask mandates is not real and makes no sense – one of the most insidious and abhorrent forms of abusive manipulation.

It is very difficult to gain an appreciation and understanding of most of the things on this list. On the other hand, it is far easier to destroy any sense of comprehension and emotional awareness of these – all that is necessary is one pithy line scorning this whole notion as delusional. Such is the power of mockery, that one witty zinger can completely vanquish the awareness gained from many hours of thoughtfulness and introspection.

So no, these are not silly, and feeling these does not make you a baby. This accusation is nothing more than the panicked derision that is the last defense of someone who can’t debate the actual facts.

The Manipulative Nature of an Abusive Relationship
One of the textbook tactics utilized by abusers to maintain control in an abusive relationship is to define the context and facts of anything related to the relationship so as to get in the victim’s head so to speak and distort their sense of reality so that they are unable to articulate – even to themselves – the fact of their abuse and victimization.

As we all can see, the constant claims of “facemasks are not a big deal”, “there’s no conceivable reason for anyone to think that masks can be harmful”, etc, accomplished this quite effectively. The goal of this article was to unwind this pernicious and abusive lie in order to re-empower victims of forced masking against the proponents of mask policies who are abusive and manipulative.

(Sometimes mask policies are reluctantly put in place in order to accommodate political or legal realities where masking is the least destructive option.)

This can be summed up as one more type of emotional distress inflicted by mask mandate proponents:

The contention that “facemasks are just an inconvenience” amounts to abusive manipulation that steals the ability of the victims of forced masking to identify and articulate the suffering and harm they experience from forced mask wearing.

To conclude, the quote at the top of this article from DA Henderson – widely credited with the eradication of smallpox – is very revealing:

“Experience has shown that communities faced with epidemics or other adverse events respond best and with the least anxiety when the normal social functioning of the community is least disrupted”

It is hard to imagine a greater disruption to normal living than the highly visible and symbolic masks ubiquitously worn everywhere.

Israel recorded 1,775 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, including 591 cases with the highly-infectious Omicron variant, according to Health Ministry figures published Saturday.

Confirmed cases of Omicron reached 1,118 as of Saturday, more than triple the 341 known infections from Tuesday, when the Health Ministry last released specific figures on the variant. The ministry said Saturday that another 861 infections were “highly suspected” to be Omicron cases, pending test results.

Health officials have warned that Omicron cases are driving the upcoming fifth wave of infections since the start of the pandemic in Israel in March 2020.

Daily cases have steadily risen from around 400-500 a month ago. Friday’s numbers were the highest daily caseload in over two months when 1,816 new infections were reported on October 12.

The figure came as cabinet ministers approved new restrictions for entry into malls, set to start at midnight Monday, in an attempt to curb the spread of the highly-infectious Omicron variant.

New rules for the education sector were also set to go into effect Sunday. Classes for pupils in grades 7-12 in communities listed as “red” or “orange” will only be allowed to open for in-person learning where 70 percent of pupils have received the first dose of the vaccine.

Pupils in classes where fewer than 70% of kids are vaccinated will learn online.

This decision will also apply to primary schools (grades 1-6) in three weeks.

In “green” and “yellow” communities, the education system will carry on normally for all grades.

(Under Israel’s “traffic light” plan, first published in August, each municipality is given a score between 0 and 10 based on several factors, including the number of new cases per 10,000 residents, the rate of positive tests in each town, and the rate of increase in the number of new patients in each town. Cities and towns that receive an average score of 7.5 or higher are defined as “red.”)

On Saturday, Channel 12 reported that 25 people in an elderly care home in the central Israeli town of Savyon were diagnosed with COVID-19 in recent days, amid “high suspicions” the infections were caused by Omicron. Twenty of those diagnosed were residents of the home and five people were workers, according to the report.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett ordered Saturday that rapid testing be administered at entrances to elderly care homes to try to prevent outbreaks in vulnerable communities.

Bennett spoke to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla over the weekend, Channel 12 reported Saturday, finalizing an agreement to purchase about 100,000 of the company’s new anti-COVID pill. US health regulators have authorized the drug for anyone over 12 who tests positive and is considered to be at high risk from COVID-19.

The pill is said to decrease the risk of hospitalization and death in high-risk groups by 90%.

The first shipment is set to arrive in about a week, according to the report.

Omicron on the rise
Professor Eran Segal, a computational biologist from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a top adviser to the government’s coronavirus cabinet, said Saturday that Israel may see “thousands of Omicron cases” in the coming week and “it’s possible we’ll reach a peak in two weeks of about 10,000 new cases a day.”

“The risk for every one of us to contract the disease is the highest since the beginning of the pandemic,” Segal told Channel 12 Saturday.

Though highly infectious, “if we look at the number of people in serious condition, the numbers are encouraging. Omicron is less severe, we see it in Scotland, in England, and in South Africa,” said the professor.

Segal also pointed to figures from Denmark that show that the rate of hospitalization did not spike with Omicron, unlike with Delta, as the rate of infections went up.

“There is no doubt that the most effective step is the vaccine… this is what will reduce morbidity and the number of people in serious condition. All the other steps — restrictions on gatherings, online learning, [restrictions] at the airport at this point in time — these are steps with limited effectiveness. They will not help to curb the Omicron wave. And the damage [these steps] cause is great,” said Segal.

He added that early measures Israel took to curb the spread of Omicron “bought quite a bit of time,” but, should the circumstances worsen, a lockdown may be in the offing.

Professor Gabi Barbash, a former director-general of the Health Ministry who served briefly as Israel’s coronavirus czar in 2020, said Saturday that early data from the United Kingdom has shown that Omicron appears to be causing fewer serious cases requiring hospitalizations.

Vaccinated people who suffered from breakthrough infections were 60% less likely to require hospitalization, said Barbash, cautioning that these were very early findings.

At the same time, Barbash told Channel 12, the rate of hospitalizations has doubled in the UK over the past 10 days.

The Health Ministry said the vast majority of Omicron infections in Israel were detected among travelers returning from abroad. At the end of November, Israel closed its border to foreign nationals in an attempt to hold off the variant, and has continually expanded a list of so-called “red” countries with high infection rates that Israelis are banned from visiting.

“R” number climbing
The positivity rate also trended slightly upward, reaching 1.82%, compared to 1.42% a day earlier and 1.1% a week ago, according to Health Ministry figures Saturday.

And the reproductive rate, or “R” number, also continued its gradual rise, hitting 1.4, up from 1.02 in early December. The transmission rate is based on data from 10 days earlier and any value above 1 shows that the rate of infection is growing.
The last time the transmission rate was this high was in early July, amid a wave of infections caused by the Delta variant.

While early studies suggest Omicron may not produce as severe symptoms as the Delta variant, experts in Israel say due to the rate at which the virus is spreading in the country, there will still likely be a burden on hospitals due to the sheer number of cases.

Despite the sharp rise in cases, the number of serious cases has not risen drastically so far, with 40 new serious cases during the past week. This marked an increase of 73.9% compared to the previous seven days.

As of Saturday night, there were 93 patients listed in serious condition, with 80% of them unvaccinated.

The death toll since the start of the pandemic stood at 8,241, with the most recent casualty on Thursday.

Out of the country’s population of roughly 9.5 million, 6,501,079 have had at least one vaccine shot, of whom 5,875,960 have received two doses and 4,190,768 the booster shot, according to Saturday’s numbers. Since the start of the pandemic 1,363,577 people have been infected with COVID-19.

Channel 12 reported Friday that Nachman Ash, the Health Ministry’s director-general, was expected to approve administering fourth doses in the coming days.

That rollout had been set to start Sunday but the ministry delayed it after reviewing preliminary data suggesting that people with the Omicron variant are between 50%-70% less likely to need hospitalization than those with the Delta strain.

At least 5,905 Israelis received their first dose of the vaccine on Friday, most of them between the ages of 5 and 11 — an age group that was recently granted approval for inoculation.

Some 14% of the 5-11 age group — 185,000 kids — have been inoculated with at least one dose.

According to Channel 13, Bennett had sought to vaccinate half a million kids by end of December, but parents have been slow to do so.

The Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 has spread across the world like wildfire. But the mutant Covid-19 virus, although highly transmissible, has not brought with it the high death counts of previous waves, such as the Delta variant.

Instead, the effects of Omicron have been described as “generally mild,” and comparable to the Common Cold. Even an initial reported single case of a Texas man having died from the Omicron variant has been thrown into question.

One of the mysteries of the Omicron variant is why the reaction appears to be so consistently mild, regardless of vaccination status. There has been a lot of questioning about whether prior infection to Delta and wild variants has provided some antibody response to Omicron, which can cause infections even in those who have been vaccinated and “boosted.”

The Africa Health Research Institute has undertaken an innovative study to look into whether there is any transferrability of natural immunity between the Omicron and Delta variants. The lead author in the pre-print study submitted for publication, Alex Sigal, spearheaded a team of over thirty researchers revealed the promising preliminary results.

“We have submitted new results to medRxiv: Omicron infection enhances neutralizing immunity against the Delta variant,” Sigal announced on Twitter.

We studied people who were infected with Omicron close to when they had symptoms and about 2 weeks later:

“The increase neutralizing immunity against Omicron was expected – that is the virus these individuals were infected with,” Sigal noted. “However, we also saw that the same people – especially those who were vaccinated – developed enhanced immunity to the Delta variant. If, as it currently looks like from the South African experience, Omicron is less pathogenic, then this will help push Delta out, as it should decrease the likelihood that someone infected with Omicron will get re-infected with Delta.”

This may be the proverbial “dead end” for Covid that was once promised.

However, unlike the ‘vaccines’ touted by the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci, nature will put an end to the Covid pandemic. Just like all other pandemics in human history.

“If that’s true, then the disruption Covid-19 has caused in our lives may become less,” Sigal continued, before listing the collaborators in the study. The study itself is worth a closer look.

The study “Omicron infection enhances neutralizing immunity against the Delta variant” provides an overview of the Covid pandemic before delving into the results.

“Omicron has been shown to be highly transmissible and have extensive evasion of neutralizing antibody immunity elicited by vaccination and previous SARS-CoV-2 infection,” the authors state. “Omicron infections are rapidly expanding worldwide often in the face of high levels of Delta infections. Here we characterized developing immunity to Omicron and investigated whether neutralizing immunity elicited by Omicron also enhances neutralizing immunity of the Delta variant. We enrolled both

33 previously vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals who were infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the Omicron infection wave in South Africa soon after symptom onset.”

“We then measured their ability to neutralize both Omicron and Delta virus at enrollment versus a median of 14 days after enrollment,” the authors continue.

“Neutralization of Omicron increased 14-fold over this time, showing a developing antibody response to the variant. Importantly, there was an enhancement of Delta virus neutralization, which increased 4.4-fold. The increase in Delta variant neutralization in individuals infected with Omicron may result in decreased ability of Delta to re-infect those individuals. Along with emerging data indicating that Omicron, at this time in the pandemic, is less pathogenic than Delta, such an outcome may have positive implications in terms of decreasing the Covid-19 burden of severe disease.”

Wow. This would be a relief for those who have mused that Omicron may push out Delta and leave us in an enhanced situation of increasing Natural Immunity to Covid-19. The United States is already at approximately 200 million people with natural immunity, which was once argued by the Mayo Clinic to be sufficient to claim “herd immunity.” However, the variants have clouded the picture of what that target might actually be.

The preliminary new research out of Africa shows that the transfer in natural immunity between variants is very strong, thus hinting that the Covid pandemic as we know it is effectively ‘over.’

Summary
The vaccines are bad news. Fifteen bodies were examined (all died from 7 days to 6 months after vaccination). The coroner or the public prosecutor didn’t associate the vaccine as the cause of death in any of the cases. However, further examination revealed that the vaccine was implicated in the deaths of 14 of the 15 cases. The most attacked organ was the heart (in all of the people who died), but other organs were attacked as well. The implications are potentially enormous resulting in millions of deaths. The vaccines should be immediately halted.
No need to worry. It is doubtful that anything will happen because the work wasn’t published in a peer-reviewed journal so will be ignored by the scientific community. That’s just the way it works.

The paper
This paper, posted on December 10, 2021, On COVID vaccines: why they cannot work, and irrefutable evidence of their causative role in deaths after vaccination by Sucharit Bhakdi, MD and Arne Burkhardt, MD, has been getting some attention lately.
The authors did an autopsy in 15 patients who died (from 7 days to 6 months) after receiving the COVID vaccine and discovered that in 14 of the 15 patients there was widespread evidence of the body attacking itself, something that is never seen before. The heart was attacked in all cases.

A number of salient aspects dominated in all affected tissues of all cases:

1. inflammatory events in small blood vessels (endotheliitis), characterized by an abundance of T-lymphocytes and sequestered, dead endothelial cells within the vessel lumen;
2. the extensive perivascular accumulation of T-lymphocytes;
3. a massive lymphocytic infiltration of surrounding non-lymphatic organs or tissue with T-lymphocytes.

Lymphocytic infiltration occasionally occurred in combination with intense lymphocytic activation and follicle formation. Where these were present, they were usually accompanied by tissue destruction.

VAERS as well as other independent studies (e.g., see this vaccine injury paper) shows the vaccines are killing people and that cardiac events were highly elevated. This study is consistent with those results.
This work independently validates the analysis of Peter Schimacher who showed a minimum of 30% to 40% of the deaths after vaccine were caused by the vaccine.

Reactions from a level-headed scientist (name withheld to protect him from attack)

If the autopsy findings are confirmed by other pathologists with additional samples, and if they are combined with the findings of Dr. Hoffe (>60% inoculant recipients have elevated D-dimer tests and evidence of clotting) and Dr. Cole (increase in cancers after inoculation, including twenty-fold increase in uterine cancer), we are seeing a disaster of unimaginable proportions. The conclusion (if supported by further data) is that essentially EVERY inoculant recipient suffers damage, with more damage after each shot. Given the seriousness of the types of damage (autoimmune diseases, cancer, re-emergent dormant infections, clotting/strokes, cardiac damage, etc.), these effects will translate into lifespan reduction, which should be counted as deaths from the inoculations. So, in the USA, where ~200M people have been fully inoculated, the number of deaths will not be the 10,000 or so reported in VAERS, or the 150,000+ scaled-up deaths from VAERS, but could be closer to tens of millions when the inoculation effects play out!

What the above three findings (Burkhart, Hoffe, Cole, and I suspect many others who have not yet come forward) show is that the post-inoculation effects are not rare events (as reported by the media-gov't), but are in actuality frequent events. They may be, in fact, universal, with the severity and damage different for each recipient.
The question in my mind is whether it is possible to reverse these inoculation-based adverse events. Can the innate immune system be fully restored? Can the micro clotting be reversed? Can the autoimmunity be reversed? I have seen a wide spectrum of opinions on whether this is possible, none of which is overly convincing.

Are we headed for the situation where the ~30% unvaxxed will be devoting their lives to operating whatever is left of the economic infrastructure and serving as caretakers for the vaxxed?
I realize the above sounds extreme, and maybe when more data are gathered from myriad credible sources the results and conclusions may change, but right now the above data seem to synchronize with the demonstrated underlying mechanisms of damage. Additionally, we seem to be doubling down on inoculations, with fourth booster being proposed for Israel, and UK suggesting quarterly boosters.

They argue that the blockades were enacted under the guise of artificially inflated infection and death numbers from a modified virus, as well as the experimental “vaccines” that have resulted:

• Massive short-term harm and death, with at least 395,049 reported adverse reactions to COVID “vaccines” in the U.K. alone;
• a sharp increase in ChildLine calls from vulnerable children during lockdowns;
• “Wealth and business destruction” through imposed lockdowns.”
• “Severe deprivation of physical liberty in violation of fundamental rules of international law,” including travel and assembly bans, and forced quarantine and self-isolation;
• apartheid due to segregation by possession or vaccination passport;

They noted that in addition to censorship of online information and promotion of these alternative treatments, “some academic journals are blocking publication of studies demonstrating the effectiveness of drugs such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.”

The petitioners also cited quotes from Holocaust survivors who have drawn “strong parallels between Covid’s restrictions and the beginning of the Holocaust.”

In an open letter, the Holocaust survivors have called on medical regulatory authorities to “stop this unholy medical experiment on humanity immediately,” which they contend violates the Nuremberg Code.

They even allege that “before our eyes, another holocaust of greater magnitude is taking place.” One survivor, Vera Sharav, noted in an interview quoted in the complaint:

“The stark lesson of the Holocaust is that whenever physicians join forces with the government and deviate from their personal, professional, and clinical commitment not to harm the individual, medicine can pervert from a healing and caring profession to a murderous apparatus.”

“What distinguishes the Holocaust from all other mass genocides is the pivotal role played by the medical establishment, the entire medical establishment. The academic and professional medical establishment supported every step of the murderous process.

Doctors and prestigious medical societies and institutions lent the veneer of legitimacy to infanticide, the mass murder of civilians.”

According to the petitioners, all the harmful consequences of the “vaccines,” the enclosures and the virus meet the criteria of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes against the people of the British, because the culprits “members of the U.K. government and world leaders have knowledge and intent with respect to these alleged crimes.”

Indeed, they argue that the destructive consequences of “vaccines,” blockades, and modified viruses are deliberate attempts at depopulation and social destabilization as part of a globally coordinated plan to consolidate wealth and power in the hands of the few.



Therefore, they argue that these measures also constitute a “crime of aggression,” i.e., the effort “to effectively exercise control or direct the political or military action of a State.”

In this case, they claim, the aim is to “dismantle all Democratic Nation States, step by step”, and “destroy small and medium-sized enterprises, transferring market shares to the largest corporations”, owned by the ultra-rich, to give this “elite” group greater political and monetary control.

COVID Antiviral Pills Cause Life-Threatening Reactions With Many Common Meds

Last week, the FDA authorized two much-hyped antiviral treatments for COVID (just in time for Christmas): Merck's Molnupiravir and Pfizer's Paxlovid.

Almost immediately after the first data were released, critics were questioning the drugs' safety profile. But now that the first courses of these "miracle" drugs are finding their way into patients' bloodstreams, the mainstream media apparently now feels it's safe to share some of these criticisms with the public.



To wit, NBC News reports that these medications will require "careful monitoring" by prescribing doctors. This could create problems and make doctors more reluctant to prescribe the meds as the omicron-driven winter wave "pummels" America's supposedly creaking health-care system.

As the omicron surge pummels a pandemic-weary nation, the first antiviral pills for Covid-19 promise desperately needed protection for people at risk of severe disease. However, many people prescribed Pfizer’s or Merck’s new medications will require careful monitoring by doctors and pharmacists, and the antivirals may not be safe for everyone, experts caution.

As a reminder, the FDA only authorized Paxlovid - the Pfizer drug - to treat "mild to moderate" COVID in people as young as 12 who have underlying conditions that raise the risk of hospitalization and death.

Unfortunately, both Pfizer's and Merck's drugs come with some serious drawbacks, the biggest being that they can cause life-threatening reactions with widely used medications like statins - taken by people with high blood pressure - blood thinners, and even some antidepressants.

What's more, the FDA doesn't recommend Paxlovid for people who have severe liver and kidney disease.

The Merck drug hasn't even been approved because the experts are worried about potential side effects. Because of this, the FDA has restricted its use to adults, and only in scenarios in which other authorized treatments, including monoclonal antibodies produced by Regeneron and others, are inaccessible or are not "clinically appropriate."

The Paxlovid cocktail consists of two tablets of the antiviral nirmatrelvir and one tablet of ritonavir, a drug that has long been used as what is known as a boosting agent in HIV regimens. Ritonavir suppresses a key liver enzyme called CYP3A, which metabolizes many medications, including nirmatrelvir. In the case of Paxlovid treatment, ritonavir slows the body’s breakdown of the active antiviral and helps it remain at a therapeutic level for longer.

The boosting effect was likely to have been crucial in driving Paxlovid’s high effectiveness in clinical trials.

When Paxlovid is paired with other medications that are also metabolized by the CYP3A enzyme, the chief worry is that the ritonavir component may boost the co-administered drugs to toxic levels.

One expert chimed in to warn that these interactions involving Paxlovid are "not trivial".

"Some of these potential interactions are not trivial, and some pairings have to be avoided altogether," said Peter Anderson, a professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. "Some are probably easily managed. But some we’re going to have to be very careful about."

Supplies of Paxlovid and Molnupiravir are scarce - for now, at least. But the production line is roaring and the two competitors say they hope to produce millions of courses of each medication during the coming year.

We have a question: if a patient dies from an interaction involving a COVID antiviral and their blood pressure medication, would that still be counted as a COVID death?

Patriots launched a “No Vaccine Canteen” after the Spokane, Washington, Christmas Bureau food assistance program opted to only feed those with a vaccine card or negative COVID test result.

Following the Gateway Pundit calling attention to the issue, a wonderful group of patriots stepped up to feed everyone — regardless of their medical history.



Dan Bell, who helped organize a food drive and feed the homeless, said that he was surprised to see that a Catholic church was involved in turning away the hungry.

The Christmas Bureau is an annual holiday assistance program coordinated by Catholic Charities Eastern Washington, Volunteers of America, and the Spokesman-Review.

“As a Christian, if you’re following the teachings of Jesus, you feed the hungry, right? You feed all hungry. So, we wanted to make sure nobody went without a good hot meal on Christmas,” Bell said in an interview with the North Idaho Exposed YouTube channel.

Bell and other volunteers held a food drive, served chili on Wednesday evening, and partnered with an organization called Blessings Under the Bridge to serve breakfast burritos on Christmas morning.

Now, Bell hopes that they can keep going and continue to provide meals two days a week — no matter anyone’s vaccination status.

“Hunger doesn’t have a vaccination status,” Bell said of the food discrimination.

He said that, so far, they have raised about $3,500 to put towards their efforts
Bell added, “anyone who is going to pick and choose which hungry get to eat, when there’s food for everyone, I’d ask them to look in the mirror long and hard at themselves.”

The new law is being proposed by Democrat Brad Hoylman aims to hold social media platforms accountable for knowingly promoting disinformation, violent hate speech, and other unlawful content that could harm others.

The law will punish those who promote: “A false statement of fact or fraudulent medical theory that is likely to endanger the safety or health of the public.”

This is how Democrats want to “reform” Section 230 that protects tech giants from lawsuits. It’s another stark reminder of why conservatives should absolutely not consider it possible to compromise with Democrats on the subject. There really is no “bipartisan” pathway here. Fascist Democrats want to control and stifle speech. Republicans want to open speech up and punish the tech giants who continue to eliminate conservative thought leaders online.

A registered nurse who works for Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) sent out a letter to explain the reasons for his refusal to comply with the protocols and guidelines set forth by the Veterans Administration.

Jerry Bledsoe told The Gateway Pundit that the reason he sent out the letter is to provide the best care for his brothers and sisters seeking care in the Veterans Administration.

Bledsoe believed that by participating in the COVID-19 protocols mandated by the hospital, he will be intentionally doing harm to those individuals who will be placed in his care, thus preventing him to perform his primary duty of advocating for his patients.

“I am not a social media person and I have no ulterior motives besides providing the best care for my brothers and sisters seeking care in the Veterans Administration. I am sure I will be terminated. No one I have spoken with disagrees with my letter but everyone is scared to lose their job pension and they feel that there is nothing that can be done. So far my “admonishment” has been for refusing a direct order, no concern whatsoever about the side effects I have seen from the vaccinations or my arguments to provide early treatment,” said Jerry Bledsoe.

Based on the definitions of terror, terrorism, and coerce as stated in his letter, Bledsoe believed that by complying with the COVID-19 guidelines he would be participating in terrorism.

“The guidelines set forth, create an environment of fear or terror through faulty PCR testing, withholding of or limiting prophylactic or early treatment, the use of harmful medications for inpatient treatment, and vaccine mandates to compel or coerce the population into taking an experimental vaccination. This is a violation of the Nuremberg Code, and I believe it to be terrorism,” said Bledsoe.

To Whom It May Concern:

I write this letter to explain the reasoning behind my refusal to comply with the protocols and guidelines set forth by the Veterans Administration in performing my duties as a Registered Nurse as it pertains to coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19). This letter will provide insight to my position, as well as solutions that I believe to be reasonable and appropriate actions. Actions that, I believe and hope you will agree, provide improved patient outcomes and the best possible solution to defeat COVID-19.

As an employee of the Fayetteville VA, I have placed the safety and wellbeing of my patients and coworkers often ahead of my own. In times of active shooters or mental health crisis’s I never questioned doing the right thing to protect those around me and at this time, I feel that my actions are needed to ensure that we do the right thing for our families, patients, and peers.

Merriam-Webster’s definition of terror, terrorism, and coerce are as follows:

#1: Terror (noun):

• A state of intense and overwhelming fear. Violence or the threat of violence used as a weapon. A very frightening or terrifying aspect

#2: Terrorism (noun):

• The systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion

#3: Coerce (transitive verb):

• To compel to an act or choice. To achieve by force or threat. To restrain or dominate by force.

Based on the definitions provided above, I believe that by complying with the COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Veteran Administration I would be participating in terrorism. The guidelines set forth, create an environment of fear or terror through faulty PCR testing, withholding of or limiting prophylactic or early treatment, the use of harmful medications for inpatient treatment and vaccine mandates to compel or coerce the population into taking an experimental vaccination. This is a violation of the Nuremburg Code, and I believe it to be terrorism.

I believe that by participating in the COVID-19 protocols, I will be intentionally doing harm to those individuals who will be placed in my care, and it will prevent me from practicing a primary duty of advocating for my patients. It is my belief that by forcing my coworkers and I to participate in the COVID-19 protocols, the Veterans Administration is in direct violation of Title 18 US code 373, Solicitation to commit a crime of violence (The United States Department of Justice, 2020 1081. Hermann Goring, a Nazi war criminal said it best, “You can do this in a Nazi regime, socialist, communist, monarchy or democracy; the only thing a government needs to turn the population into slaves is fear. If you can find something to scare them, you can make them do anything you want.” This is a sentiment that I believe to be true. I believe this is where we are today, at the precipice of a tragedy, and I cannot be a part of it.

I know many Americans are living in a state of confusion and fear, fear from dying of COVID-19, fear of vaccination mandates, fear of dying from the vaccines, fear of losing their jobs/ livelihoods, fear by employers of losing workers and an overall fear of an uncertain future.

Many of these Americans work or seek care within the Veterans Administration. In the past, we reacted to fear irrationally, we segregated bathrooms, water fountains, swimming pools, by race out of fear. We imprisoned Japanese Americans during WW2 out of fear, actions towards Jews during the 1930’s out of fear, and many more.

Looking back, we can see that this fear was irrational, but to many at the time that fear was very real. Can we not learn from our mistakes in the past? Are we too full of hubris to think that we could be persuaded to let history repeat itself? We read about history and wonder why the people did not stop these atrocities before they occurred. I would ask of anyone who is able to read this to consider what is going on around you at this moment in time as compared to the events leading up to the atrocities in history and what actions could we take to prevent those atrocities from recurring.

We as a people can stop this from happening. Not through violence, hiding or trying to manipulate the system but through civil disobedience. If we were to come together as healthcare workers stop complying with the current COVID-19 guidelines and instead provide accurate information and effective early treatment, would we not be providing the best care to our patients and peers with transparency, honesty, and integrity?

I will not attack the experimental vaccinations, as many believe in the vaccinations and want to be provided with the opportunity to take them. But when have we ever mass vaccinated the entire population of the earth with an experimental vaccine? Many may believe that this would never happen but that is what is taking place now. The President of the United States stated, and I am paraphrasing, that the new normal is for “everyone” to be vaccinated.

I do not believe our staff willingly participates in what I believe to be a campaign of fear to influence our patients. I come from an Infantry background with experience in combat. I have been in situations where my soldiers and I were ambushed and taking constant fire from all directions. When first ambushed, it is chaos and soldiers fight with what weapons they have and on reaction based on training and instinct. I believe this is what happened to our medical community with COVID-19. However, just as in an ambush situation, we must gather ourselves to evaluate our situation, and determine the best way to defeat this enemy. At times like this, we need leadership not blind administrators of policy.

Concerns and Solutions
I believe the universal mask-wearing, the PCR test, and the vaccinations are all experimental and cannot be mandated and at this time. I believe the current protocols are a failure in preventing infections or transmissions and the primary reason for the protocols is to create an atmosphere of terror for which the only solution given is an experimental vaccine. This is terrorism, coercion to force patients to participate in an experimental treatment, and in direct violation of the Nuremburg Code. The Nuremberg Code (cirp.org).

I believe the mask mandates are ineffective to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and the reason for the masks is to create an environment of fear (terror) and the only option given (coercion) is an experimental vaccine (terrorism). The COVID-19 virus is believed to be airborne with one of the transmissions being aerosols. I do not believe there is any way of testing the efficacy of masks / or face coverings being worn by staff and patients. Various types of facial coverings are permitted, regardless of medical grade. Social distancing is impossible based on the size of our work environment and patient and employee population, and I can tell you personally I know of no one I work with who universally always wears a mask and practices social distancing while at work.

The PCR test is being misused to create false positives. I have based my opinion on various reasons:

#1 The Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) states that the PCR test was not developed using the COVID-19 virus. It was not available at the time of the test. CDC 2019 Novel Coronavirus (nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel – Instructions for Use (fda.gov),

#3:EUA for the PCR test has been recalled but is being allowed to be used until the end of the year (Centers for Disease Control, 2021 Lab Alert: Changes to CDC RT-PCR for SARS-CoV-2 Testing). Additionally, I believe the PCR tests are being performed at a higher cycle count than that for which they were designed, which creates false positives.

I believe testing every individual regardless of symptoms, for COVID-19 with the PCR test, provides a false picture of COVID-19 mortality rates.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states “[COVID-19] Deaths are counted based on the attachment of the Covid-19 ICD code to the patient’s diagnosis list.” COVID-19 Provisional Counts – Weekly Updates by Select Demographic and Geographic Characteristics (cdc.gov). Because these deaths are calculated based on the sole inclusion of the COVID-19 ICD 10 code, and not based on actual cause of death, it is my belief that these death counts are provisional and inflated. I have cared for many patients without symptoms or even suspicions of COVID-19 that tested positive on the PCR test on admission, thus assigning them the COVID-19 ICD code. In these cases, COVID-19 may have nothing to do with the patient’s condition or why they are being admitted or may even be a false positive.

However, if the patient were to become deceased, based on the including on the COVID 19 ICD 10 code, the patient will be counted as a Covid 19 death. The CDC’s weekly provisional count shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving COVID-19. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death. It is my belief that the policies surrounding how reporting of COVID-19 cases is conducted are intentionally creating an atmosphere of fear (terror) for which the only solution being offered (coercion) is an experimental vaccine (terrorism).

I do not believe that the vaccines should be mandatory for the patients or employees. Per the CDC, the experimental COVID-19 vaccinations do not prevent infection or transmission of the virus. This may be due to variants or waning durability or just plain failure. Both the CDC and FDA note the experimental vaccinations pose a risk for myocarditis (Long-Term Prognosis of Suspected Myocarditis and Cardiomyopathy Associated with Viral Infection of the Myocardial Tissue: A Meta-Analysis of Cohort Studies – PubMed (nih.gov) ), pericarditis (Myocarditis and Pericarditis After mRNA COVID-19 Vaccination | CDC) blood clotting, neurological damage (SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccines are not free of neurological side effects (nih.gov) ) and death. These are all concerns as, VAERS notes that the total number of deaths associated with the COVID-19 vaccines in one year is double the number of all other vaccines combined over the last thirty years. To my knowledge, there is not an FDA-approved COVID 19 vaccine available in the US. Through our current administration, our patients and employees are being deceived into believing that these experimental vaccines, only authorized under the EUA are FDA approved. This deception is being contested through our judicial system at this time. It is my belief that we should not lie to our patients or our employees any longer. We should be educating the population on the true risks and benefits associated with this vaccine. According to the CDC, an individual is not “generally considered fully vaccinated” until two weeks after second MRNA shot, or first J&J shot. I can only the assume that those who died before the two-week post injection period were not counted as vaccination deaths. I do not know of any other medication that is injected into the body where possible side effects are not taken into consideration until two weeks after the injection. In my opinion, the experimental vaccinations are not safe or effective. The current vaccinations are still experimental, meaning the safety and effectiveness are continuing to be evaluated. Additionally, the vaccination mandate refuses to recognize any sort of natural immunity. A study from Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries, seems to present natural immunity as more effective and more durable than the experimental vaccination. I believe that medications and treatment options for the prevention and early treatment of COVID-19 exist beyond the vaccine or remdesivir. As noted, remdesivir, a touted treatment option, has shown not to be as efficacious as once thought. I believe that options for prevention and early treatment are knowingly being withheld from the population. It is common practice physicians to use off-label medications with the consent of the patients. I believe that our patients should be offered various treatment options for the management and prevention of COVID 19 to include the encouragement of a healthy immune system through the use of Vitamin D, C and Zinc, the increased use of monoclonal antibodies, as well as medications such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. I believe these are knowingly being withheld from the population. These treatment protocols and prophylaxis are being successfully used by physicians nationwide HOME – AAPS | Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (aapsonline.org), Home | America’s Frontline Doctors (americasfrontlinedoctors.org), Dr Peter McCullough Early Treatment Protocol (onedaymd.com), Dr. Vladimir Zelenko MD and the Attorney Generals of some states are ensuring patients have a right to these medications. I believe that by withholding additional treatment options from the community, an atmosphere of fear (terror) is being created, to coerce the population into taking an experimental vaccination (terrorism).

If COVID-19 is the devastating pandemic that we are to believe it is, would it not be in the best interest for everyone, to prevent overwhelming of hospitals and possible death, by utilizing every treatment and prophylaxis option there is? Is it sane to only allow one treatment/prophylaxis option and continue to use that only modality, even when the death toll continues to rise? In the Emergency Department, a patient that is treated with an antibiotic, may return if the infection continues. In this situation, is it best practice to keep prescribing the same antibiotic until the patient requires hospitalization or is it more effective to implement adjunct therapy or a more aggressive treatment? Many patients return to the Emergency Department when their condition does not improve. The physician re-evaluates the previous treatment plan, and many times changes the antibiotic or treatment plan to ensure better patient outcomes. If utilizing off-label treatment options are used widely in medical practice, why are we not doing the same with COVID-19?

I believe there is an answer to how we can resolve much of this fear and provide the best outcome for our workers and patients.

#1: Stop asymptomatic testing and universally wearing of masks. Asymptomatic spreading of this virus is at most extremely rare. Asymptomatic testing and universally wearing of masks spreads fear.

#2: Provide accurate information on prophylactic and early treatment of patients to include off label medications and treatments options, and with informed consent provide those people the desired treatments.

#3: Provide accurate information on the vaccinations including current information on deaths and adverse reactions and with informed consent the vaccine to those who wish the opportunity to take it.

#4: Stop the vaccine mandates. This is immoral and unlawful, and I dare say those who go along with the mandates will be held accountable.

#5: Reevaluate our definition of death with COVID-19 and death by COVID-19 and distribute this information.

If frontline workers in healthcare and emergency medical services came together, refused to comply with the current COVID – 19 guidelines and implemented the five changes listed above we could change the direction of our current situation and have a better chance to defeat COVID-19.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt says that he does not plan to get a COVID-19 booster because he is “perfectly healthy,” and his doctor has not said he needs one.

Governor Stitt has been outspoken about his opposition to vaccine mandates.

“I’m perfectly healthy, and my doctor hasn’t told me I need to get it,” Stitt said on Monday, according to a report from the Oklahoman.

Stitt had the coronavirus last summer and said that his symptoms were mild. He received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in March during a press conference.

In a video message posted in October, Gov. Stitt said that “this action is not just federal overreach; it’s unconstitutional,” and “getting the vaccine is a personal choice.”

“Getting the vaccine is a personal choice. Period,” Stitt said in the video. “Static, one-size-fits-all mandates simply do not fit the reality we are in today. In Oklahoma, cases and hospitalizations are down nearly 50%. As this virus evolves, so does the science and the treatments available, including natural immunity.”

Stitt added, “President Biden’s administration has no respect for individual freedoms. I cannot believe we have a president who wants to force Americans to choose between a vaccine and their job. The people this is affecting aren’t just statistics. They’re real Oklahomans with real concerns. They’re brave nurses and caretakers. They’re expecting mothers and fathers. They’re first responders and brave law enforcement.”

How did the CDC get this so wrong?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Tuesday significantly lowered its estimate of Omicron’s prevalence in the US.

The CDC is now claiming Delta, not Omicron, was the dominant variant in the weeks leading up to Christmas.



The Hill reported:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Tuesday significantly revised downward the estimate of the percentage of new COVID-19 infections in the U.S. caused by the omicron variant of the virus.

According to agency data, omicron accounted for about 59 percent of all U.S. infections as of Dec. 25. Previously, the CDC said the omicron variant comprised 73 percent of all cases for the week ending Dec. 18.

But that number has now been revised to 22.5 percent of all cases.

What a difference 24 hours makes.
The CDC was wrong about Omicron and they suddenly shifted their guidelines on quarantine times in just a matter of 24 hours.

The CDC on Monday recommended shorter Covid isolation and quarantine time for all Americans.

The CDC made the announcement shortly after Biden said “there is no federal solution to Covid.”

With Covid cases spiking, longer quarantine times would threaten to crush airlines, hospitals and other businesses.

All of a sudden the CDC is acknowledging there is evidence people are most infectious in the two days before and three days after symptoms manifest.

The CDC made the decision to cut isolation time from 10 to 5 days in an effort to help Joe Biden and make sure there isn’t a total collapse of society under his watch.

What else is the CDC lying about for political reasons?
