However, the exceptionally rapid movement of these vaccines through controlled trials and into mass deployment raises multiple safety concerns. In this review we first describe the technology underlying these vaccines in detail. We then review both components of and the intended biological response to these vaccines, including production of the spike protein itself, and their potential relationship to a wide range of both acute and long-term induced pathologies, such as blood disorders, neurodegenerative diseases and autoimmune diseases. Among these potential induced pathologies, we discuss the relevance of prion-protein-related amino acid sequences within the spike protein. We also present a brief review of studies supporting the potential for spike protein “shedding”, transmission of the protein from a vaccinated to an unvaccinated person, resulting in symptoms induced in the latter.We finish by addressing a common point of debate, namely, whether or not these vaccines could modify the DNA of those receiving the vaccination. While there are no studies demonstrating definitively that this is happening, we provide a plausible scenario, supported by previously established pathways for transformation and transport of genetic material, whereby injected mRNA could ultimately be incorporated into germ cell DNA for transgenerational transmission. We conclude with our recommendations regarding surveillance that will help to clarify the long-term effects of these experimental drugs and allow us to better assess the true risk/benefit ratio of these novel technologies.

Various French publications have reported on the burgeoning trend in France that seems to be particularly popular with young adults. Instead of relying on a vaccination, these people prefer an infection with SARS-CoV-2 in order to participate in society.

Franceinfo quoted a 20-year-old French woman who said she had little fear of the possible effects of an infection. “In the worst case, I’ll be in bed for a few days, or better still, I won’t have any symptoms at all.”

In the newspaper Le Figaro, a twenty-five-year-old said he was deliberately breaking hygiene rules by not wearing a mask or washing his hands. He said he hoped to get infected in order to get the “pass sanitaire” for which he would otherwise have to wait weeks because of the period between vaccinations.

“In all honesty, if a friend tells me that she has Covid, I might go to her so that she coughs on me,” another admitted.

“I would rather have Covid once than to be vaccinated every three months until the end of my life,” wrote a user on Twitter. Another user said that her husband had gone into quarantine but despite her best efforts, she did not succeed in contracting the virus. “I’ve tried everything to get it. Impossible.”

The biggest lie about COVID

Excluding the origin story of COVID, I believe the biggest lie in the handling of COVID is the lie around asymptomatic spread — i.e., you could have the virus and not know it and kill people. This has been the great distraction of COVID, and it is being used even today to distract from major issues.

For those who have been monitoring the research, we have suspected since fairly early on that having otherwise healthy people and asymptotic people wear a mask has no known benefit in preventing viral spread. Even the peer-reviewed journal articles on the CDC website testify to this. If this statement was true then and is true now, then how did the CDC come to recommend in April of 2020 that healthy people wear masks? Why does the CDC continue to recommend mask-wearing? Just as importantly, how did we the people come to believe that forcing healthy people to wear a mask might be necessary?

The "scientists" at the CDC have demanded we suspend our understanding of all known viral transmission knowledge and believe that asymptotic spread is possible, and therefore we needed everyone to wear a mask to "slow the spread." "Slow the spread" has been a popular and hugely successful slogan but appears to have no basis in scientific reality.

Many of us knew this to be a lie by mid-2020. In December 2020, the CDC acknowledged the lie that had occurred. Asymptotic spread does not occur with COVID — i.e., only people with symptoms are contagious! This report in The Federalist is illuminating, and if true, this should be a focus of efforts in combatting the hysteria around the delta variant.

It appears to say you are contagious with COVID in the same way you would be with strep throat, the flu, a cold, etc. — when you have a fever and other symptoms. This revelation was huge, yet the connection to the big lie has not been made that I can find, and so I try to make the connection here.

I believe that this lie — that you can sicken someone even if you have no symptoms — provides the foundation of the other lies that have been and continue to be told about COVID death and illness. This lie stokes the fear, for example, that I could kill my mom or dad, my grandmother or grandfather, or an elderly relative simply because I did not wear a mask while otherwise feeling healthy. This peer-reviewed journal article that is referenced appears to show that if you have no fever, you are not contagious, and wearing a mask is pointless.

Could my kid kill another kid if he appeared healthy, had no symptoms, and went to school with COVID? Dr. Fauci provided the foundation for guilting all of America by saying things like you could kill your grandma or grandpa if you don't wear a mask when around them. We have been leaving the elderly to die alone because of this premise.

Many of us wore masks for some time because although we doubted the science on COVID's viral transmission, we believed Dr. Fauci and others about the asymptomatic spread being "possible." If this was not a naturally occurring virus, perhaps the rules of transmission were different.

This lie has allowed us to doubt ourselves and the science, and it has distracted us with the masking debate. This is the lie that we need to focus on to return to normal. Unless you have a fever or other symptoms, you are not contagious and can't infect others.

Think about the implications: had we treated COVID like all other illnesses, schools and daycares would have been protected with enhancements to existing "sick" protocols. If you have a fever and get to the building, you are separated and isolated until a parent can come and get you. If you have a fever, you must stay away until you are fever-free for 24–48 hours. Schools could remain open with only heightened diligence and monitoring for fever.

Americans who want to return to normal need to push this approach — keep people with a fever out of schools, daycares, and medical settings. The fact that primarily symptomatic people spread the virus is further proof that masking healthy people is pure political theater.

If that is not enough for you, read this court opinion from Kentucky. Skim to the summary of the expert witnesses. This is a must-read. A court has weighed actual evidence and testimony regarding masks. Under oath, a real health and safety expert explains the science or lack thereof regarding masks and COVID.

N95 and cloth masks cannot filter the COVID particles because of the small size of those particles.

If we want to eliminate the maskers' screaming at us, we have to educate people that asymptomatic spread is a lie. Instead of spending energy on telling people to "wear the damn mask," I think that energy would be better spent telling people that if you have a fever and other symptoms, then please try to stay away from people.

We can win this science-based argument because it is grounded in two centuries of established medical science. Please help me change the narrative, expose the underlying lie, and drop the curtain on this absurd theater.

The $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bill passed the senate chamber in a 69-30 vote on Tuesday after further negotiations – 19 Republicans joined in with the Democrats.

Biden took questions after his presser from a list of pre-approved reporters.

One reporter asked Joe Biden about governors like DeSantis and Abbott banning mask mandates in schools.

“If a principal in my school says everyone should wear a mask, or the school board votes for it, that governor will nullify that,” Biden said. “That governor has the authority to say you can’t do that. I find that totally counter-intuitive and quite frankly, disingenuous.”

“Do you have presidential powers to intervene in states like Texas and Florida where they are banning mask mandates?” the reporter asked in a follow-up question.

“I don’t believe that I do thus far,” Biden the tyrant said. “We’re checking that, but federal workforce I can.”

Dr. Fauci on Tuesday said vaccine mandates are needed in ‘certain circumstances’ during an appearance on MSNBC.

MSNBC host Willie Geist asked Fauci if vaccines should be mandated for teachers returning to the classroom this fall.

“I’m going to upset people on this but I think we should,” Fauci said. “I mean we are in a critical situation right now…. We are in a major surge now as we’re going into the fall, into the school season. This is very serious business.”

Fauci said mandates are not going to come from the federal government so local mandates are the way forward.

“I’m sorry I know people must like to have their individual freedom and not be told to do something, but I think that we’re in such a serious situation now, that under certain circumstances, mandates should be done,” Fauci said.

The rapid development of safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines has been a major step forward in helping bring the pandemic under control. But with the rise of variants and an uneven global distribution of vaccines, COVID-19 is a disease that will have to be managed for some time.

Antiviral drugs that target the way the virus replicates may be the best option for treating outbreaks of COVID-19 in unvaccinated and undervaccinated populations.

Using the Canadian Light Source (CLS), a national research facility at the University of Saskatchewan, researchers from the University of Alberta isolated promising inhibitors that could be used to treat COVID-19 infections. The scientists used the synchrotron at CLS remotely during the facility's special COVID-19 call for proposals, an initiative created to support research to help fight the pandemic.

"With the help of the CLS and the multiple teams here at the U of A, including our lab and the Young lab in the Department of Biochemistry, the Vederas lab in the Department of Chemistry and the Tyrrell team in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, we've been very efficient at developing a group of inhibitors that is very promising," said Joanne Lemieux, a professor in the U of A's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

The synchrotron creates light millions of times brighter than the sun that helps researchers to find very detailed information about their samples. Lemieux and colleagues used the CMCF beamline at the CLS to search for molecules that could stop SARS-CoV-2—the virus that causes COVID-19—from replicating inside human cells.

The team found inhibitors that target a special kind of protein called a protease, which is used by the virus to make more copies of itself. Proteases act like an ax and help the virus chop up large proteins. Without this protein, the virus would be unable to multiply and harm human health.

"One of the inhibitors that we used as our benchmark starting point was one that was developed to treat a feline coronavirus," Lemieux said. "This was not an optimal inhibitor given the dosage for humans, which is why new derivatives needed to be made in order to provide patients with a lower dosage."

While COVID-19 and its cousins SARS and MERS cause serious respiratory diseases, coronaviruses are also responsible for a wide range of illnesses in humans and animals. Lemieux said the proteases are very similar among the different coronaviruses.

"It's likely that any antiviral that is developed for one coronavirus would also be a broad specificity inhibitor that could treat a variety of coronavirus infections, including those found in animals," Lemieux said.

Over the past decade, oral antiviral medication has become more accessible to patients in need. There are oral protease inhibitors that treat and manage symptoms for diseases like HIV and hepatitis C. The research team wants to help make SARS-CoV-2 inhibitors available in a pill form, which would make it easier to treat COVID-19.

Lemieux's team is not alone in their quest for antivirals that will help treat diseases like COVID-19. Pfizer, the pharmaceutical company behind the successful mRNA vaccine, is moving its antivirals to Phase 1 clinical trials. Lemieux sees this as a sign that her group has been headed in the right direction.

"With many people working around the world developing antivirals targeting proteases, there is very likely to be one or more antivirals on the market," Lemieux said. "This would enable ease of accessibility for people around the world, especially in regions or populations where vaccines are not an option."

The team's findings were recently published in the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry.

Some 93% of 90 coronavirus serious patients treated in several Greek hospitals with a new drug developed by a team at Tel Aviv’s Sourasky Medical Center as part of the Phase II trial of the treatment were discharged in five days or fewer.

The Phase II trial confirmed the results of Phase I, which was conducted in Israel last winter and saw 29 out of 30 patients in moderate to serious condition recover within days.

“The main goal of this study was to verify that the drug is safe,” Prof. Nadir Arber said. “To this day we have not registered any significant side effect in any patient from both groups.”

The trial was conducted in Athens because Israel did not have enough relevant patients. The principal investigator was Greece’s coronavirus commissioner, Prof. Sotiris Tsiodras.

Arber and his team, including Dr. Shiran Shapira, developed the drug based on a molecule that the professor has been studying for 25 years called CD24, which is naturally present in the body.

“It is important to remember that 19 out of 20 COVID-19 patients do not need any therapy,” Arber said. “After a window of five to 12 days, some 5% of the patients start to deteriorate.”

The main cause of the clinical deterioration is an over activation of the immune system, also known as a cytokine storm. In case of COVID-19 patients, the system starts attacking healthy cells in the lungs.

“This is exactly the problem that our drug targets,” he said.

CD24 is a small protein that is anchored to the membrane of the cells and it serves many functions including regulating the mechanism responsible for the cytokine storm.

Arber stressed that their treatment, EXO-CD24, does not affect the immune system as a whole, but only targets this specific mechanism, helping find again its correct balance.

“This is precision medicine,” he said. “We are very happy that we have found a tool to tackle the physiology of the disease.”

“Steroids for example shut down the entire immune system,” he further explained. “We are balancing the part responsible for the cytokine storms using the endogenous mechanism of the body, meaning tools offered by the body itself.”

Arber noted that another breakthrough element of this treatment is its delivery.

“We are employing exosomes, very small vesicles derived from the membrane of the cells which are responsible for the exchange of information between them,” he said.

“By managing to deliver them exactly where they are needed, we avoid many side effects,” he added.
The team is now ready to launch the last phase of the study.

“As promising as the findings of the first phases of a treatment can be, no one can be sure of anything until results are compared to the ones of patients who receive a placebo,” he said.

Some 155 coronavirus patients will take part in the study. Two-thirds of them will be administered the drug, and one-third a placebo.

The study will be conducted in Israel and it might be also carried out in other places if the number of patients in the country will not suffice.

“We hope to complete it by the end of the year,” Arber said.

If the results are confirmed, he vowed that the treatment can be made available relatively quickly and at a low cost.

“In addition, a success could pave the wave to treat many other diseases,” he concluded.

Get the COVID-19 vaccine or violate probation – that is the ultimatum a judge in Hamilton County, Ohio, gave to a man in court Wednesday. According to a report from WVLT 8 News, Brandon Rutherford says he was thrown that curveball by Common Pleas Judge Christopher Wagner while he waited to be sentenced for drug-related charges.

“[Judge Wagner] wanted to know, was I vaccinated, and I told him no, and I told him I ain’t planning on getting the vaccine,” said Rutherford. “And next thing you know, he told me, like, it was going to be court-ordered for me to get one.” When Rutherford got to the probation office, the order was printed on his form saying he has two months to get the vaccine.

Carl Lewis, Rutherford’s attorney, said this is the first time he has seen a probation requirement like this. “Whether you have a good intention or not, you cannot use the rule of law to order an individual to do something that is against their personal, philosophical, or even religious reasons, and my client says he does not wish to be vaccinated,” explained Lewis.


The NYP stated that the Judge said “I’m just a judge, not a doctor, but I think the vaccine’s a lot safer than fentanyl, which is what you had in your pocket,” Wagner said at the hearing. “You’re going to maintain employment. You’re not going to be around a firearm. I’m going to order you, within the next two months, to get a vaccine and show that to the probation office.”

Wagner told Rutherford that he could be sent to state prison for up to 18 months if the conditions of his probation are violated, the outlet reported. Rutherford had revealed his vaccination status at the beginning of the hearing when the judge questioned him about why he was wearing his mask in court.

According to FOX45 News, On Rutherford’s court papers, there is a question mark next to the judge’s order to get vaccinated. “If he truly believes that he’s within this authority and power to order the individual to get a vaccine, then we’ll have a legal issue to address,” said Lewis.

The judge’s staff was sent an email and left two phone messages but they did not respond. “It’s not like I’m out here getting in any more trouble or anything like that. But because I won’t take a shot that can send me to jail. I don’t, I don’t agree with it,” said Rutherford.

Lets go back in the way way back machine...March of last year when that post was fresh.

Trump had declared a national emergency 6 days prior.

The first statewide stay at home order was issued that day.

There 13,133 cases in the US up to that point. There had been 195 deaths. The projected death rate and R0 were quite high. Since that date there have been 36,000,000 cases and 616,000 deaths. We have developed multiple new treatments, learned how to care for serious and severe cases effectively and most amazingly have a vaccine that was developed that shows 8x reduction in hospitalization and 25x reduction in death rates from unvaccinated. Guess what, its not magical--you can still catch or transmit Covid. Things got better. Cases went down. New variants popped up and we re seeing a second wave as would be expected with Coronavirus. Unfortunately the case count and death rate are rising again.

Will we see additional variants with different profiles, some will be able to overcome the vaccine and natural immunity.

The CDC on Wednesday urged all pregnant or breastfeeding women to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

In an effort to scare pregnant women, the CDC said data suggest expecting mothers face an “increased risk of severe illness from Covid-19.”

“CDC recommends that pregnant people should be vaccinated against COVID-19, based on new evidence about the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines,” the CDC said. “COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all people 12 years and older, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to get pregnant now or might become pregnant in the future.”

The CDC said there is no evidence that the experimental Covid vaccines cause fertility problems in women or men.

More Dangerous Side Effects Potentially Linked To mRNA Vaccines, EU Warns

As shares of MRNA-vaccine purveyors Moderna and BioNTech tumbled on Wednesday, Reuters reported that the EMA, the EU's medicines regulator, is looking into new potential side effects from the still-experimental MRNA jabs, including suspicious skin reactions and kidney ailments.

According to Reuters, three new conditions have been reported by a small number of people after vaccination with jabs from Pfizer and Moderna. The ailments include Erythema multiforme, a form of allergic skin reaction; glomerulonephritis, or kidney inflammation; and nephrotic syndrome, a renal disorder that leads to heavy urinary protein losses. All of the cases are being studied by the EMA to determine whether the vaccines might be linked to the conditions.



This isn't the first time regulators have raised issues with an MRNA vaccine. As we reported a few months ago, the FDA determined that one side effect of the jabs in a small number of male patients with certain complications included heart inflammation. Still, the FDA, CDC and WHO have insisted that the risks posed by the jabs are far outweighed by their benefits to society.

The finding comes as Israeli health authorities have found that a small number of patients still managed to get infected with the virus even after their third dose of the vaccine.

Neither Pfizer nor Moderna responded to Reuters' request for comment.

Just over 43.5MM doses of Moderna's vaccine, Spikevax, have been administered in the European Economic Area as of July 29, compared to more than 330MM doses of the Pfizer shot, Comirnaty, which was developed in partnership with Germany's BioNTech.

Details about the new side effects were pretty sparse, with the EMA saying only that it had requested more data from the vaccine's makers so they could determine any potential relation. So far, the EMA hasn't made any recommendation regarding the labeling of the vaccines, and whether any new side effects should be noted.

The agency disclosed the new side effects during a routine update to the safety section of the approved vaccines' database.

MRNA jabs rely on new technology that reprograms the immune system to fight off the virus, however critics maintain that long term side effects and safety risks simply aren't well understood since the jabs were rushed to the finish line.

A new preprint study that raises concerns about the effectiveness of mRNA COVID vaccines — particularly Pfizer’s — against the Delta variant has caught the attention of top Biden administration officials, Axios reported.

The study found Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine was only 42% effective against infection in July, when the Delta variant was dominant. “If that’s not a wake up call, I don’t know what is,” a senior Biden official told Axios.

The study, which has yet to be peer-reviewed, compared the effectiveness of Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccines in the Mayo Clinic Health System from January to July 2021, during which time either the Alpha or Delta variant were highly prevalent.

To determine vaccine effectiveness, researchers matched demographically and “clinically similar” unvaccinated, Moderna-vaccinated and Pfizer-vaccinated individuals by sex, race, ethnicity, state of residence, SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing history and date of vaccination, according to MedPage Today.

Clinical outcomes of interest included SARS-CoV-2 infection, COVID-associated hospitalization, ICU admission, mortality and breakthrough infection — defined as infection occurring at least 14 days after the second dose of mRNA vaccine.

Overall, researchers found Moderna’s vaccine was 86% effective against infection over the study period, and Pfizer’s was 76% effective. Moderna’s vaccine was 92% effective against hospitalization and Pfizer’s was 85% effective. There were no deaths in either cohort.

According to data from multiple states, breakthrough infections were less likely among the Moderna cohort versus the Pfizer cohort, and the rate of hospitalization was lower among those vaccinated with Moderna compared with Pfizer. The authors found that COVID-associated ICU admission rates were comparable.

But vaccine efficacy dropped sharply in July, when the Delta variant was more prevalent. Moderna was only 76% effective against infection and Pfizer was only 42% effective.

Researchers noted the Delta variant prevalence in Minnesota increased from 0.7% in May to over 70% in July, whereas the Alpha variant prevalence decreased from 85% to 13% over the same time period.

Comparing rates of infection between individuals fully vaccinated with Pfizer and Moderna across Mayo Clinic Health System sites in multiple states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida and Iowa, Moderna conferred a two-fold risk reduction against breakthrough infection compared to Pfizer.

In Florida, the risk of infection in July after full vaccination with Moderna was about 60% lower than after full vaccination with Pfizer.

“We observed a pronounced reduction in the effectiveness of BNT162b2 [Pfizer] coinciding with the surging prevalence of the Delta variant in the United States, but this temporal association does not imply causality,” Venky Soundararajan and his co-authors wrote.

The authors concluded “further evaluation of mechanisms underlying differences in their effectiveness such as dosing regimens and vaccine composition are warranted.”

The two shots both use mRNA technology, but Moderna is given in a stronger dose than Pfizer, and there is a slightly different time interval between shots, Axios reported.

“There are a few differences between what are known to be similar vaccines … None of these variables is an obvious smoking gun, although the dosing amount seems the most likely to be a factor,” said Cornell virologist John Moore.

In a statement to Axios, Pfizer said it and BioNTech “expect to be able to develop and produce a tailor-made vaccine against that variant in approximately 100 days after a decision to do so, subject to regulatory approval.”

Pfizer continues to push for booster shots
For months Pfizer has anticipated booster doses of its COVID vaccine assuring investors as early as February 2021 that the company could make significant profits by charging higher prices and implementing routine booster doses for new variants of the virus.

The vaccine maker said it sees this not as a one-time event, but “as something that’s going to continue for the foreseeable future.”

U.S. health agencies said in July, there’s no evidence to suggest a booster is needed, but it may be appropriate for special risk groups in the future, including elderly people and transplant recipients.

Federal public health officials said they would continue to monitor the situation.

Pfizer executives met privately with U.S. senior scientists and regulators on July 12, to press their case for quick authorization of COVID booster vaccines amid pushback from federal health agencies.

Officials said after the meeting more data — and possibly several more months — would be needed before regulators could determine whether booster shots were necessary.

During a July 28 second-quarter earnings call, Pfizer also announced plans to start an immunogenicity and safety study in August to evaluate an updated version of its current vaccine. The new version is specifically designed to target the Delta variant — pending regulatory approval.



On July 12, Israel health officials announced they would begin offering a third shot of the Pfizer’s COVID vaccine to people over 60 in an effort to slow the spread of the Delta variant.

According to Channel 12 News, Internal Health Ministry data as of Aug. 12 showed 14 Israelis had been infected with COVID a week after receiving a booster shot.

The network said 11 of those infected were 60 or older, and two were hospitalized — while the other three received a third dose because they are immunocompromised.

If confirmed in larger samples, the Internal Health Ministry said figures could cast doubt on the effectiveness of the booster shot, which Israel started administering before major health agencies around the world approved it.

Pfizer’s COVID vaccine is currently on pace to be the world’s top-selling drug of all time. Pfizer and its vaccine partner BioNTech submitted an application in May to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requesting full approval of its COVID vaccine. Moderna submitted an application to request full FDA approval in June.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to President Biden, said Sunday he is hopeful the FDA will give full approval to Pfizer’s vaccine by the end of August.

An outbreak at a migrant processing center in Tacoma, Washington, has infected at least 150 people, the Seattle Times reported Tuesday.

COVID-19 has infected at least 150 individuals, including seven guards and a federal health care worker, since the outbreak at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Processing Center in Tacoma in early June, the Seattle Times reported, based on a lawyer’s account of events. The lawyer, Aaron Korthuis of Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, additionally claimed that the agency has released 570 migrants deemed high-risk of contracting COVID-19 from the facility, according to the Seattle Times.

Due to the pandemic, ICE has attempted to mitigate overcrowding at migrant facilities by diffusing the migrants throughout the agency’s processing infrastructure. The agency has thus decided to transfer almost 1,100 migrants to the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma, a document submitted in federal court by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Western Washington claimed, according to the Seattle Times.



Nearly all of the individuals who caught COVID-19 tested positive for the virus shortly after reaching the Northwest ICE Processing Center, the Seattle Times noted. This development sparked immigrant rights groups, such as the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, to allege that the government is not taking adequate precautions regarding COVID-19, according to the Seattle Times.

The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) have now sued President Joe Biden’s administration over ICE’s COVID-19 policies in a federal class-action lawsuit on behalf of the migrant detainees, the Seattle Times reported. The group is arguing that the Northwest ICE Processing Center is not complying with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to the outlet.

Cristian Amaya Vargas, a 33-year-old asylum-seeker from Columbia represented in the lawsuit, caught COVID-19 during the outbreak and claimed he had chills, fever, nausea and pneumonia and that he needed to be briefly hospitalized, the Seattle Times reported.

The government claimed in legal documents that while the protocols, “may not follow the ideal scenario,” it is aiming to meet federal public health guidance, which would involve “testing and a 14-day quarantine would occur at the originating facility before transfer and again at the destination facility at intake; at a minimum it should occur at one facility or the other,” the Seattle Times reported.



Legal documents also claim that ICE verbally screens migrants for COVID-19 symptoms, but does not test them if they do not self-report coming into contact with someone who had COVID-19, the Seattle Times reported. They also claim the agency does not routinely test migrants for COVID-19 — only if they are not displaying symptoms, the outlet noted.

However, the agency reportedly does check the migrant’s temperatures before transferring them to other facilities on flights. The government also argues that even COVID-19 rapid tests, which take 15 minutes to process, would not be feasible while transferring large numbers of migrants, according to the Seattle Times.

Korthuis and Amaya Vargas, however, maintain that as ICE transfers migrants, they allegedly do not separate individuals based on whether they have been exposed or are displaying COVID-19 symptoms, according to the Seattle Times.

In other parts of the country, COVID-19 positive migrants have been released by federal authorities and placed in hotels that have been rented out by charities for COVID-19 positive migrants, however, migrants in these hotels have reportedly not been quarantining. McAllen, Texa, was forced to declare a state of emergency after 1,500 COVID-19 positive migrants were reportedly released into the community.

Since Biden came into office, law enforcement personnel have been dealing with a record-setting crisis at the country’s southern border.

Did The Delta COVID Variant Just Peak?

Though the comment received little more than a headline from the newswires, the White House acknowledged earlier on Wednesday that it has started to see COVID cases leveling off in the hardest-hit states.

To be sure, the drop in cases, which typically portends a decline in hospitalizations and deaths, has arrived just in the nick of time for some hospital systems in Florida and Texas, which have reported seeing a surge in beds occupied by COVID patients. Still, South Carolina recorded the fourth straight daily decline in new cases, while Florida saw cases decline again after the CDC "adjusted" a supposedly "record-breaking" daily tally which was actually an aggregation of the tally (eventually, the number listed was only 50% of the original figure).

Texas also reported a day-over-day decline on Wednesday (~14K cases vs. nearly 17K the day before). Even Arkansas, supposedly the state hardest hit by the latest delta-driven wave of infections, which at the start of this week reportedly had just 8 ICU beds left in the entire state, saw its daily cases drop by nearly half on Wednesday, from 4,851, to 2,664.


The declines beg the question: was the latest IHME projection about the trajectory of the latest delta wave actually on point?

Because according to the projections, Aug. 11 (ie Wednesday) was identified as the peak of the wave according to the projections' base case.



Meanwhile, the worst case scenario shows the wave cresting later this month. But as the White House acknowledged, it looks like the hardest hit states are already seeing the declines that many experts, including former FDA Director Dr. Scott Gottlieb, had expected.

In his latest tweet, Dr. Gottlieb highlighted the decline in the "R" rate in four of the hardest hit states: Fla., La., Nev. & Ark.

The rate represents the number of patients that each person infected with COVID will pass the virus on to. Once it falls below one, that means the virus is decidedly starting to slow.



Covidestim, an academic project frequently cited by Gottlieb, showed the "R" rate for Arkansas has broken decidedly below 1.



Still, even if cases continue their decline, hospital systems in these states might continue to see strain, making it hard for them to quickly recover even as the number of new cases continues to fade.



Nationwide, data from the CDC shows that the number of new cases has already moved solidly back below 100K/day after news organizations made a big deal about the case numbers breaking back above that milestone.



The big question now, as more states impose draconian mandatory vaccination orders (California being the first to officially require teachers to get vaccinated or submit to weekly testing), is whether they'd be just as well off if they simply waited for the latest wave to subside.

There are U.S.-based Chinese scientists collaborating with China’s military and, based on direct evidence, arguably coordinating propaganda efforts with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to absolve itself of responsibility for the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is described in this article is only the tip of a very large iceberg.

It does not include Chinese Communist Party operatives in the federal government, state legislatures, universities, and in so-called Chinese-American social or cultural organizations.

Since the 1990s, U.S. universities and research institutions have been colonized by CCP and People’s Liberation Army (PLA) scientists.

Those scientists, some becoming U.S. citizens, have maintained working relationships with scientists in China, including those in the PLA.

The research they are conducting with the PLA is supported by U.S. funding, much of which is derived from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The activities of Chinese scientists based in the U.S. have gone beyond research collaboration with counterparts in China and now appear to include active collaboration with CCP propaganda efforts.

These are at least partially coordinated from the Chinese-American professional organization, the Virology Division of the Society of Chinese Bioscientists in America (SCBA) of which Shan-Lu Liu of Ohio State University is president.

Not only does Shan-Lu Liu collaborate with PLA scientists like Cheng-Feng Qin, believed to be a key figure in China’s biowarfare program, but there is evidence pointing to his role as an organizer of CCP propaganda in the U.S.

That propaganda coordination is done via private chat rooms online that include CCP scientists and members of the SCBA.

In early February 2020, long before the origin of COVID-19 could have been determined, Shan-Lu Liu wrote an article supporting Beijing’s argument that the virus had a natural origin.

As recently as January 2021, Shan-Lu Liu was in communication with Zheng-Li Shi, the “bat woman” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, who was encouraging him to enlist Chinese virologists in a public relations and media campaign in support of Beijing’s views.

Another author on the February 2020 article supporting the CCP contention that COVID-19 was naturally-occurring was Lishan Su of the University of North Carolina, who also has extensive research collaboration with the PLA.

Another U.S.-based Chinese scientist, who is a participant in the online discussions related to CCP propaganda in the U.S. and a PLA research collaborator is Shan Lu of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Other U.S.-based Chinese scientists, who have been working with the PLA while accessing U.S. funding, knowledge and skills are Qiao Li, University of Michigan; Xuping Xie, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston and Tao Jiang, University of California.

The extensive infiltration of U.S. research programs and other critical U.S. institutions poses a grave national security threat, but one that remains unaddressed by U.S. government officials.

Dr. Fauci on Tuesday said vaccine mandates are needed in ‘certain circumstances’ during an appearance on MSNBC.

MSNBC host Willie Geist asked Fauci if vaccines should be mandated for teachers returning to the classroom this fall.

“I’m going to upset people on this but I think we should,” Fauci said. “I mean we are in a critical situation right now…. We are in a major surge now as we’re going into the fall, into the school season. This is very serious business.”

Fauci said mandates are not going to come from the federal government so local mandates are the way forward.

“I’m sorry I know people must like to have their individual freedom and not be told to do something, but I think that we’re in such a serious situation now, that under certain circumstances, mandates should be done,” Fauci said.

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message for Americans against tyrannical Covid restrictions: “Screw your freedom!”

Schwarzenegger joined CNN’s Bianna Golodryga and Alexander Vindman to promote Vindman’s new book, “Here, Right Matters.”

Yes, this is the same Alexander Vindman who was born in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and testified during the Schiff impeachment show trial that Ukraine asked him to be their Defense Minister “three times.”

Lt. Col Vindman should have faced a court martial for showing he was more loyal to Ukraine, but since we have a two-tiered justice system, he’s out slinging books and telling Americans they don’t have freedom.

Arnold Schwarzenegger said the only way out of this pandemic is to get vaccinated, social distance and wear masks.

“…And not just to think about ‘well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here – No! Screw your freedom!” Schwarzenegger said. “Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities.”

“We cannot just say, ‘I have the right to do X, Y and Z.’ When you affect other people, that is when it gets serious,” the 74-year-old said.

Schwarzenegger said breathing fresh air without a mask on is dangerous and may cause other people to die.

Let's leave aside the pregnant PEOPLE (not pregnant WOMEN) in the CDC message. Let's talk about the fact that the vaccine was introduced widely starting in January. How many women have had babies after being vaccinated? I would say there are some who are pregnant now who have been vaccinated, but how many were vaccinated before they got pregnant and have already given birth (I'd say no one before October doing my math) or got vaccinated during their pregnancies (when it wasn't offered to pregnant women until a few months ago) and have already given birth? There is not a large enough group to study YET. WHY NOT WAIT UNTIL AT LEAST 6 MONTHS AFTER THESE VACCINATED WOMEN DELIVER THEIR BABIES and see how they thrive in their first few months before announcing it's safe for pregnant women. hmm? not really rocket science here....

What You Need to Know

• COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all people 12 years and older, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future.

Pregnant and Recently Pregnant People Are at Increased Risk for Severe Illness from COVID-19

Although the overall risk of severe illness is low, pregnant and recently pregnant people are at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19 when compared with non-pregnant people. Severe illness includes illness that requires
hospitalization, intensive care, need for a ventilator or special equipment to breathe, or illness that results in death.

Additionally, pregnant people with COVID-19 are at increased risk of preterm birth and might be at increased risk of other adverse pregnancy outcomes, compared with pregnant women without COVID-19.

• No adverse pregnancy-related outcomes occurred in previous clinical trials that used the same vaccine platform as the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine: Vaccines that use the same viral vector have been given to pregnant people in all trimesters of pregnancy, including in a large-scale Ebola vaccination trial.   • CDC released the first U.S. data on the safety of receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy. The report analyzed data from three safety monitoring systems in place to gather information about COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy. These early data did not find any safety concerns for pregnant people who were vaccinated or their babies.1
  • Another report looked at pregnant people enrolled in the v-safe pregnancy registry who were vaccinated before 20 weeks of pregnancy. Scientists did not find an increased risk for miscarriage among people who received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy.2
  • Many pregnancies reported in these safety monitoring systems are ongoing. CDC will continue to follow people vaccinated during all trimesters of pregnancy to better understand effects on pregnancy and babies.
• Early data suggest receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy reduces the risk for infection: A recent study from Israel compared pregnant people who received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine with those who did not. Scientists found that vaccination lowered the risk of infection from the virus that causes COVID-19.3
• Vaccination of pregnant people builds antibodies that might protect their baby: When pregnant people receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy, their bodies build antibodies against COVID-19, similar to non-pregnant people. Antibodies made after a pregnant person received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine were found in umbilical cord blood. This means COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy might help protect babies against COVID-19. More data are needed to determine how these antibodies, similar to those produced with other vaccines, may provide protection to the baby.4

Additional clinical trials that study the safety of COVID-19 vaccines and how well they work in pregnant people are underway or planned. Vaccine manufacturers are also collecting and reviewing data from people in the completed clinical trials who received a vaccine and became pregnant.

Some 93% of 90 coronavirus serious patients treated in several Greek hospitals with a new drug developed by a team at Tel Aviv’s Sourasky Medical Center as part of the Phase II trial of the treatment were discharged in five days or fewer.

The Phase II trial confirmed the results of Phase I, which was conducted in Israel last winter and saw 29 out of 30 patients in moderate to serious condition recover within days.

“The main goal of this study was to verify that the drug is safe,” Prof. Nadir Arber said. “To this day we have not registered any significant side effect in any patient from both groups.”

The trial was conducted in Athens because Israel did not have enough relevant patients. The principal investigator was Greece’s coronavirus commissioner, Prof. Sotiris Tsiodras.

Arber and his team, including Dr. Shiran Shapira, developed the drug based on a molecule that the professor has been studying for 25 years called CD24, which is naturally present in the body.

“It is important to remember that 19 out of 20 COVID-19 patients do not need any therapy,” Arber said. “After a window of five to 12 days, some 5% of the patients start to deteriorate.”

The main cause of the clinical deterioration is an over activation of the immune system, also known as a cytokine storm. In case of COVID-19 patients, the system starts attacking healthy cells in the lungs.

“This is exactly the problem that our drug targets,” he said.

CD24 is a small protein that is anchored to the membrane of the cells and it serves many functions including regulating the mechanism responsible for the cytokine storm.

Arber stressed that their treatment, EXO-CD24, does not affect the immune system as a whole, but only targets this specific mechanism, helping find again its correct balance.

“This is precision medicine,” he said. “We are very happy that we have found a tool to tackle the physiology of the disease.”

“Steroids for example shut down the entire immune system,” he further explained. “We are balancing the part responsible for the cytokine storms using the endogenous mechanism of the body, meaning tools offered by the body itself.”

Arber noted that another breakthrough element of this treatment is its delivery.

“We are employing exosomes, very small vesicles derived from the membrane of the cells which are responsible for the exchange of information between them,” he said.

“By managing to deliver them exactly where they are needed, we avoid many side effects,” he added.
The team is now ready to launch the last phase of the study.

“As promising as the findings of the first phases of a treatment can be, no one can be sure of anything until results are compared to the ones of patients who receive a placebo,” he said.

Some 155 coronavirus patients will take part in the study. Two-thirds of them will be administered the drug, and one-third a placebo.

The study will be conducted in Israel and it might be also carried out in other places if the number of patients in the country will not suffice.

“We hope to complete it by the end of the year,” Arber said.

If the results are confirmed, he vowed that the treatment can be made available relatively quickly and at a low cost.

“In addition, a success could pave the wave to treat many other diseases,” he concluded.

Embattled Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday announced California will be the first state to require ALL public school staff be fully vaccinated against Covid or submit a weekly test to state authorities.

“To give parents confidence that their children are safe as schools return to full, in-person learning, we are urging all school staff to get vaccinated. Vaccinations are how we will end this pandemic,” Newsom said.

“As a father, I look forward to the start of the school year and seeing all California kids back in the classroom,” he added.

The new policy goes into effect Thursday.

Wednesday’s announcement comes just one week after Newsom announced California will require healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 by September 30th.

Newsom has been hesitant to impose new lockdowns and mask mandates with his recall election looming, but he is starting to mandate vaccines for certain workers.

The recall election for Gavin Newsom is set for September 14, 2021.

The Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted on Wednesday to require proof of getting the Chinese coronavirus vaccine in order to be allowed indoors at restaurants, gyms, and other spaces, according to a report.

The vote was to direct the city attorney to draft an ordinance requiring patrons who wish to enter any indoor public spaces to have at least one dose of the vaccination, according to KTLA. As of now, it is unclear how the ordinance will look, but the attorney will have to prepare a draft for the city council to approve then.

The motion for the ordinance was introduced last week by Council President Nury Martinez and Councilman Mitch O’Farrell. It will apply to restaurants, bars, retail establishments, fitness centers, spas, and entertainment centers like stadiums, concert venues, and movie theaters, according to the report.

Martinez, in a statement, said:

It’s our responsibility to protect the public, that includes protecting them from the unvaccinated. … The decision to not get vaccinated doesn’t just affect you. We have kids under the age of 12 who are not eligible for the vaccine yet, and someone’s decision to not get vaccinated affects them as well.

O’Farrell, in a statement, “tried” to clarify that it is “not a vaccine mandate” but noted that “We need to stop fighting the science and start fighting the virus.”

The councilman continued:

We’re not going to tell someone, anyone that they have to get vaccinated. We’re also not going to deny anyone the ability to access essential food, medicine… regardless of vaccination. That wouldn’t be legal, that wouldn’t be moral. … But what is immoral is choosing not to get vaccinated.

Councilman Bob Blumenfield said the city needs to make sure they are careful with some locations in the new ordinance becuase it needs to be made so that people are not denied entry to essential businesses. However, the city will also need to ask businesses for input on what places should be included.

The report noted that the L.A. County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday also voted to look into options for requiring proof of vaccination in some unincorporated county areas.

Councilman Paul Koretz said that “mask mandates by themselves aren’t going to get us out of this pandemic.” He added, “Becoming fully vaccinated against COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus] remains the other key action that people can take to protect themselves, their friends and their family.”

In July, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said that due to the department’s “limited resources,” his department will not be enforcing the mask mandate the city put back in place. He said the city’s mandate was “not backed by science.”

40% of illegal aliens being bused to Laredo, Texas have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Washington Examiner reported:

The city of Laredo, Texas, has refused to take in migrants who have been bused in from elsewhere on the border after discovering 40% of them tested positive for the coronavirus, according to two local government officials.

“That was very high,” Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz said in an interview, referring to the infection rate among migrants dropped off by the Border Patrol last week. Laredo health authority, Dr. Victor Trevino, confirmed the numbers.

Concerned that migrants arriving in Laredo would further strain hospital resources, Laredo officials contracted private bus companies to transport migrants arriving from the Rio Grande Valley to larger cities across the state. By not admitting migrants on the McAllen buses, the city is not required to test them for the coronavirus and could forward the families elsewhere. Those who test positive cannot travel and must be quarantined for 10 days, a situation Saenz wanted to evade to avoid migrant overflow.

Last week it was reported that 15% of illegal aliens released from ICE custody in McAllen, Texas were infected with Covid.

The city of McAllen told Fox News that the federal government is releasing “an alarming number of immigrants into McAllen, and that the feds aren’t testing them for COVID.”

Meanwhile Joe Biden is blaming rising Covid cases on unvaccinated Americans.

"That was very high," said Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz in an interview with the Examiner, referring to the infection rate among migrants dropped off by the Border Patrol last week. The figures were confirmed by Laredo's health authority, Dr. Victor Trevino.

The 40% infection rate is the highest known positivity rate along the U.S.-Mexico border. Last week, McAllen, Texas, reported a 15% positivity rate among migrants released from custody.

Concerned that migrants arriving in Laredo would further strain hospital resources, Laredo officials contracted private bus companies to transport migrants arriving from the Rio Grande Valley to larger cities across the state. By not admitting migrants on the McAllen buses, the city is not required to test them for the coronavirus and could forward the families elsewhere. Those who test positive cannot travel and must be quarantined for 10 days, a situation Saenz wanted to evade to avoid migrant overflow. -Washington Examiner

Thousands of migrant families have been transported from the Rio Grande Valley region to Laredo because of overcrowded shelters. The migrants were immediately tested upon arrival - with positivity rates jumping from 4% in April to 40% in August.

Meanwhile, Judicial Watch reports that the Department of Homeland Security has quietly been using a small regional airport in central Texas to disperse "large groups of illegal immigrants throughout the U.S. after releasing them from detention facilities in other parts of the state, city and federal sources confirm."

Local authorities in the city where this is occurring, Abilene, are being kept in the dark and a federal lawmaker is demanding an end to the “reckless and irresponsible practice” as well as answers from DHS after a series of local news reports exposed the covert operation.

Abilene is located about 180 miles west of Dallas and has a population of around 120,000. The area’s airport is run by the city and its transportation director reveals in a news story that local officials are not aware of what exactly is going on with the illegal immigrant flights. The airport is only given 24 to 48 hours of notice before flights arrive, according to Abilene Director of Transportation Don Green, who verifies the planes are private charters from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the DHS agency in charge. The Texas news conglomerate, which also publishes reports in Spanish, writes that it “shot video of strange activity at the airport” and includes the footage on its website. It shows immigrants exiting unmarked planes, getting frisked, then boarding buses. "Wakeup Call": Pfizer Vax Only 42% Effective Against Infection In July

This week, Dr. Fauci confirmed that "at some time in the future" everyone will likely need a booster shot for the Covid-19 vaccine due to "fading efficacy."



Now, Axios reports that a new preprint study which has 'already grabbed the attention of top Biden administration officials' over the vaccines' effectiveness against new variants, with Pfizer's jab being of particular concern.

The study found the Pfizer vaccine was only 42% effective against infection in July, when the Delta variant was dominant. "If that's not a wakeup call, I don't know what is," a senior Biden official told Axios.

The study, conducted by nference and the Mayo Clinic, compared the effectiveness of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in the Mayo Clinic Health System over time from January to July. -Axios

The overall figures suggest that the vaccines provide robust (yet lower-than advertised) immunity early on, only to sharply drop in efficacy over time.



Between January and July, Moderna's vaccine was found to be 86% effective against infection over the study period, while Pfizer's was 76%. As far as hospitalization, Moderna's vaccine was 92% effective, while Pfizer's was 85%.

Bringing the averages down, of course, was the sharp drop in efficacy observed in July with Moderna proving just 72% effective against infection and Pfizer clocking in at 42%.

In other states such as Florida, the risk of infection in July among those who had taken the Moderna vaccine was around 60% lower than for people full vaccinated with Pfizer.

Why it matters: Although it has yet to be peer-reviewed, the study raises serious questions about both vaccines' long-term effectiveness, particularly Pfizer's.

• It's unclear whether the results signify a reduction in effectiveness over time, a reduced effectiveness against Delta, or a combination of both.
• “Based on the data that we have so far, it is a combination of both factors," said Venky Soundararajan, a lead author of the study. "The Moderna vaccine is likely — very likely — more effective than the Pfizer vaccine in areas where Delta is the dominant strain, and the Pfizer vaccine appears to have a lower durability of effectiveness.”
• He added that his team is working on a follow-up study that will try to differentiate between the durability of the two vaccines and their effectiveness against Delta.
