It does show that messing with a scene can cause issues. The few thousand $$ in stuff she recovered was not worth the possibility of being arrested, jailed…. (Even if cleared)
the food was not worth a thousand bucks (IIRC). I was not sure if gold coins were hers originally? Even so $10k value?
If ANYONE had seen her, one time stamped traffic picture. The idea you beat off attackers, lose your hubby, are hurt and you steal their truck, trespass in their house, steal not only your stuff back, but handle illegal drugs, steal some of the drugs, firearms…
let’s think. You call in asap. No delay medical aid as I am not allowed to declare dead. They find stolen gun. Should lead to search warrant. Your stolen items, you reported might be returned. If not who cares.
While wonderful story, it added to it. IMO the lesson. Don’t mess up crime scene being cute. It went from strait forward. To one even I could confuse a jury about.
She was mad at her hubby yet. Had an affair with his golf buddies. Bribed them with gold coin, gave them gun to fake a home invasion. When her hubby shot the one, she decided to have it all.…
