My approach to this situation:

I am striving to be anxious for nothing! But it *IS* hard.

Our days are numbered. And I accept that.

Worry cannot add even one day to our life. So I am trying not to worry.

I KNOW whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.

Update:

I am also Type 2 Diabetic. Came in here for the heart issue but also got the news that my glucose was at 394…4 times higher than what is considered “acceptable”.

3 days later I am 202.

Headed off for a pre-op CAT scan shortly.

More later.
Wow, I have been on a trip and I am shocked to hear of this. Praying for a full recovery for you!

KRIS---

praying for your operation tomorrow.

I suppose it will be early in the morning? (operations usually are)

Just want to be focusing my (our) prayers from the moment you're getting prepped to the moment you wake up in ICU Recovery afterward---

all shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well...

Glad to see you in a place of awareness and healing. Don’t do what I did and focus on getting your numbers down,

I thought I was doing good until I took my humalog without eating immediately, and found myself coming to, in front of five emts in my living room last Saturday.

Seems I got my bg down to a new record low for me…26. I read later that folks that hit that number sometimes don’t wake up…ever.

That scared the ever-loving sh*t out of me. Very fortunate that dearest Annie woke up from her nap early enough and found me unresponsive and called the cavalry to come save me…and they did.

Prayers for successful surgery, speedy healing and next level awareness of healthy decisions and management.

May the surgery go perfectly, and may your recovery be 100%!

Praying your hospital stay gives you a good start to your recovery. And no complications.
