I went to see it yesterday, paid the senior rate of $9, and wasn't going to pay $6 for a small soft drink, and another $6 for a small popcorn.

I forgot to bring my ear plugs, so I found the movie to be extremely LOUD. I didn't like that at all. Further, this being a 12:30 pm showing, there were about 10 people in the theater. Finally, well it met my expectations; namely, noisy, mass violence, the kind of Reeves, "Dance of Death," he does so well. I think about 300 people were shot to death during the movie. I give it a thumbs up rating, but bring the ear plugs. I won't give anything away, but you can rest assured there will be a John Wickes Four. The ending guarantees that.

The scene with Halley Barrie was fantastic. And yeah, never, ever trust Ian McShane!:sh1:

The last time I went to a theater (I think it was in 2009), it was so loud that I complained to the manager. His reply was that that’s how people want it now. If I ever go again (unlikely) I’ll bring earplugs.

I bring shooting earmuffs to every movie I attend. They come in handy at movies like this. It's just way too loud.

I went yesterday with Hubby and another couple to see it.

He didn't disappoint, although at one point, it was ridiculous how many people just kept coming to kill him. I was laughing at how grade B it seemed.

It was almost like a Japanese movie where they're still talking but the lips don't match the voice. Karate chops, and knife punctures that crunched unrealistically, hahaha.

I was impressed at how seriously Keanu must have took his training both in hand-to-hand combat and shooting. Many of those were techniques we learned over the years from experts in their fields who taught on our department. I liked how he speed-loaded his shotgun. We learned that as well. I think he was probably way faster than I was. (when milliseconds count...)

However, the part I found unrealistic is that he never seemed to get appropriately tired and kept going and going. No human could do that. (Of course it's a movie, yes)...and I walked out of there thinking boy is he going to have a bad case of arthritis in his old age from all that physical trauma to his body during training and the making of the movie.

I rate it a low B minus.

Now if only I could get my puppy trained like Hallie Berry's dogs were!

Sounds like the Kill Bill movies.

Saw it yesterday, wasn't very good IMO. The first one was the best and it's difficult to re-create that. Noticed that they left out the music artist Nostalghia on the third installment. Music made the first movie much better. Nostalghia's track in the first movie which is my favorite:

4 minute video featuring clips from the first movie and the song.

Used in the scene where josef gets whacked at the abandon factory

DH and I saw the first two. First one was great, the second, not so great. We'll see this one, too, but it won't be at a theater. We don't do theaters, dark places, and crowds. Will wait for the DVD version at home with our own sodas and buttered popcorn.
